Hey guys!
So if you haven't read Call to Arms 2: Whispers at Midnight yet in which twelve teams of five were locked into a prison and then had a one-night elimination tournament (and a dope JHW championship match) DO THAT NOW! Because I'm gonna talk about things without a care for spoilers.
Anyway...
CTA has brought us our wild cards going into Overheated! The road to Night of Champions is upon us! Except this year is a little different....
On July 9th 2001 the Xtreme Hardcore Federation was founded (well, it's first board was made, lol). As you might notice, that means that as of July this year we'll be turning 20. To celebrate, the feds are going all out! Almost every fed in the Network will be hosting a show bearing the name of a former XHF Show (even AWF's final Clash of the Icons is using the July 4th Special slot!)! On top of that, the owners have been encouraged to go big or go home! Ok, mostly just go big!
So let's talk some specific changes!
1. Overheated this year is being hosted by a fed, specifically FIRESIDE will be hosting it! They still don't get any normal reps (because they have the X*Crown) but do have a couple of wildcard slots from CTA. So along with all their big matches they'll be hosting the matches that'll determine who goes to the Night of Champions main event
2. Back in the XHF era we used to run two PPVs in July, Overheated and the XHF Birthday Show. Since it's the 20th anniversary we've brought that show back this year and it will be run by GUNS on the 9th (the birthday proper) and will have just a dream of a main event and also my first time wrestling with Mongo in over ten years! If you want to get in on the festivities, contact Scorps. It's pretty easy as long as you write your own stuff.
3. As mentioned earlier, the rest of the feds for the most part will be running shows bearing old XHF PPV/PreShow/Special names during the month and featuring some marquee matches.
4. As excited as I am about the XHF's 20th, I also realize that the Network is an entirely different beast in how it runs. For that reason we've opted to NOT have any fed-based title matches at Night of Champions this year. Next year we'll got back to the normal of having world title matches; but this year I want each fed to go all out on their shows to show off during the month. To that end Night of Champions will only be featuring XHF-branded championships. Currently in the wild are the X*Crown, Junior Heavyweight, Tag, Phoenix, and Women's title. There'll be another one added by time we get to NoC though! We're also open to a couple other ideas that have been thrown out. Nobody has issued a challenge for the tag titles at NoC yet so that slot is still open if you've got the points!
I feel like I'm forgetting something but we'll continue...
FED OWNERS!
We have a hard deadline of June 27th to submit your representatives at Overheated (to compete to get into the X*Crown match). That way we can open the RP window on the 28th and give people time because this year the calendars are weird so Overheated is on the 11th. If you don't get your rep in by then your fed will not be included- period. AWF is still currently open so they will be allowed to submit their final representative.
Go big guys. Have the feuds you want to do, book the stupid and insane matches you've been sitting on for a while, have fun. Do the stuff you want to do and let's continue what's already been one heck of a great year!
Rock on everyone,

PS: If you have questions or whatnot feel free to ask them right here in this thread!
