Celebration Slam
Wrestlers: 6-10
Match Type: Objective based multi-stage
Description: Just ... read the write-up below this is a big'un
Weapons: Initially none, as cannons go off various small party supplies will be added and then in stage 2, party food, tables, utensils, 4 random gift boxes and whatever is inside, fire, and a leaf blower
So what is a Celebration Slam? Why it's only the event dreamed up by the Nightmare-gineers at XHF Network HQ (mainly admin Dave) to celebrate the XHF's ONLY 20th birthday party! How better to celebrate than with a Night of Champions Main event for the X*Crown Championship? How does it work? Why I'm glad you asked.
Stage 1: It begins as any party does, with a gaggle of superstars all in the ring at the same time bringing down the house. This starts off as a standard multi-man melee. But there are no pins, submissions, or eliminations - unless you get yourself disqualified for being a party pooper and using unsanctioned weapons! Each of the four ring posts has been turned into a confetti cannon ready to rain down confetti, party supplies (like poppers, whistles, those spinny grinder things, those tiny drums, etc), and maybe some small weapons (brass knuckles, bags of salt, etc). Each cannon packs MULTIPLE shots in case of misfire. But they are all triggered by pressure panels on the OUTSIDE of the ring by the ring post. These can only be activated by SLAMMING someone onto them. Now it is possible to set it off by leaping for an aerial move an someone moves ... but not by standing or jumping on them. The first four people to trigger a confetti blast BY SLAMMING AN OPPONENT ON THE PANELS advance to the next stage. And once you advance you get to stand aside and let the others keep fighting so you gain an advantage of rest. Setting off the panel yourself or by accident doesn't count.
Stage 2: Once four lucky partiers advance to the next round, a two minute intermission let's us sweep up the confetti ... and losers ... and set up party tables around the ring! All kinds of party food will be on the tables along with more party favors, some weapons, various implements used to light candles, and 4 presents. Each partier left gets to choose a gift and only they can use what's inside. On the ramp is a HUGE cake. Not huge enough for a person to hide in ... but big enough. Like the diameter of a kiddie pool and like 2 feet tall. On this cake are twenty candles. These candles need to be lit somehow because the winner is the first to use a leaf blower to put out the candles. ALL the candles. Not some. Not most. ALL. And here's the catch. Mongo is a trickster. These candles will relight infinitely if any one of them remains lit. After a few seconds, fwoosh! All alight again. So put them all out and then claim the X*Crown as your birthday party prize!
