The scene opens to grainy black and white, a battered and bloody Donzig sits on the edge of a hospital bed. A few nurses and doctors surround him, clearly trying to pull bits of glass, thumbtacks, and get a number of wounds sealed shut. Donzig is smiling, that wicked grin splitting his wild beard which is streaked with black oil from the Black Mist as he sits, lifting a bloody arm for the doctor as he hisses.
'D, did you see it? Did you see Overheated?' He tilts his head, and you can see blood smeared across his face and head. He uses his free hand to wipe across his face, shrugging which draws a steadying hand from the nuses. 'I fought a war with Bloodied Fox, a war that all of the XHF bore witness to. And I guess I didn't win, eh? But no one is going to forget what happened out there. No one is going to forget the things I have done, no one is going to forget what it took the XHF Junior Heavyweight Champion to defeat me. And you might think I am spent, eh? Broken? Finished?'
Donzig paused, staring as a long sliver of glass was dropped into a metal pan by one of the doctors. Fresh blood ran down his shoulder, and he sniffed. 'I am not even started yet, that was a warm up for what I have in store for you at Honor! Because what I want is your title, and I am going to have it! Do you honestly think you can stand before me? Look at me, look at me! I am covered in my own blood, and all I want is more! I want more of this, I have never felt more alive! Do you think Fox is down the hall ready for more? Is Brendan? Is Sinclair?'
Donzig laughed, cackling as the nurses and doctors exchanged confused looks. And Donzig lifted his arms, shaking them off for the moment as he stared at the camera. 'I am the Harbinger of Death, D. I am the Scourge, the Herald of Oblivion, Death in High Places! This is what is waiting for you at Honor, this is what is coming to face you! The inevitable. The pride of SWAT, yeah?'
Donzig's arm fell, and the motion tore open more wounds. The doctors and nurses moved quickly, wiping at the blood and trying to staunch the cuts. Donzig said nothing, he just sat there indifferently looking at the camera with those flat empty eyes. He whispered, a brow lifting as he rubbed his fingers together. 'I want you to hold that title close, D. I want you to sit there and hold it, and then polish it up for me. Because at Honor? I am going to take it from you, I am going to take alot of things from you. Just like I am going to take things from Shane Severe. I am going to show you exactly what I am capable of, D.'
The doctors were clearly getting agitated as Donzig was not the most cooperative patient. And he mutters about stitches as the nurses once again try to get Donzig's attention, he waves them off as he tilts his head to look at the camera. A hand streaked with dried blood lifting to smooth his tangled beard, and he laughs again. 'I need you to see me, D. I am not just a talker. I am different, I am special, and at Honor? You better have what it takes to put me down, because when this started? It was business, but now? It is personal.'
He flicked a hand at the doctor, waving away the camera.
