What have been your favorite games on the systems you've owned? This will be easier for dudes who haven't had as many systems, lol.
Here's mine:
NES: Hmmm, I think I'll go with Mario/Duck Hunt- I only had like two games and that cart got more usage than Caveman Games, lol
SNES: I loved my snes and played the crap out of all my games for it. I should say Mario All-Stars, but I'm gonna go with Kirby Super Star because it was the only game I could 100% (I'm bad at games, lol)
Gameboy/GBC: Since Pokemon is already getting another system's vote, I'll say The Legend of Zelada: Link's Awakening DX (Because I got two words for ya.....COLOR DUNGEON!)
Nintendo 64: I loved my N64 like I loved my SNES, but this is an easy choice- WWF No Mercy!
Nintendo DS: Pokemon Emerald- I know it's an Gameboy Advance game but I don't think I had one of those
PC: I think I'll go with Final Fantasy 7 for the PC; I had a lot of fun with that game as a kid and played it a lot- I did everything except beat stupid ruby weapon
How about you? What have been your favorite games?

SNES - Donkey Kong Country 2 (1 and 3 and Super Mario World are close seconds, my favorite 3 games of all time) Gameboy Color - Pokemon Silver Gameboy Advance - Pokemon Pinball Ruby/Sapphire (I mark for the pokemon pinball games) N64 - WWF No Mercy/Pokemon Snap/Goldeneye 007 (it's a tie) Gamecube - Smash Bros Melee DS - Chrono Trigger (never had it on SNES but that game is as close to perfect as you can be) Wii - Smash Bros. Brawl PS2 - Final Fantasy X PS3 - Batman: Arkham City PS4 - Rock Band 4 (with Rivals DLC) PC - Undertale Downloadable cross platform game: tossup between Journey And Gone Home (you ALL should find a way on PS3/PS4/PC to play Gone Home, it is seriously moving and takes only 3 hours to play if you are thorough, less if you just race through) Android: Pokemon Go

Sega Genesis: Mortal Kombat II & 3 PS1: Twisted Metal 1-3 (There was just something about these games back then, I LOVED them and couldn't get enough because of all the great characters this very memorable franchise featured.) N64: WWF No Mercy (which is of course the entire origin of my account name, since searching for quality CAW's for that game led me to the end-all, be-all, message board mecca for this game known as The No Mercy Message Board itself over at Ezboard/Yuku, and the rest, as they say, was history, since Brain Doggy Dog/Mongo were also full-time posters there and simultaneously got me hooked on e-fedding altogether via BDDWF, which eventually evolved into XHF following BDD's retirement. And also, for the N64, honorable mention to the trio of WWF WrestleMania 2000, WCW/nWo Revenge AND Mario Kart 64, I used to play all of those endlessly with great enjoyment from them as well.) Gamecube: NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona PS2: Tie between Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas & Grand Theft Auto: Vice City PS3: Gran Turismo 5

Sega Genesis: It was an Aladdin game. I actually remember playing but the thing was that you had to hold it or the wire would come undone and the game would shut down so I made my sisters hold it. PS1: Final Fantasy VII - the only Final Fantasy game I really cared about. N64: Goldeneye. Gamecube: This is a tough one, but I'm going to say Tales of Symphonia. The story was just too good. PS2: I want to say Smackdown vs RAW 2005 or 2006. Right before they messed all the controls up and there was an EWR-like booking mode, which as great. PS3: Heavy Rain (Fallout New Vegas is a close second) PS4: So far Grand Theft Auto V Xbox: Knights of the Old Republic Xbox 360: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PC: Star Wars: The Old Republic
Oh and original Gameboy/Gameboy Color: Pokemon Blue

Oh man this is fun:
Genisis/Megadrive - Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I know, technically two games but they merged into one piece of awesomeness. There was just so much play time out of this, as well as the desire to have every combination complete with all emeralds. PS1 - Street Fighter EX + Alpha. I have a very odd mix that I'm looking at, and could have also gone for Discworld, FF7, 8 or 9. Also a shout out to broken sword too. But Street Fighter is a great version, sure the graphics now are terrible but at the time it was great, the training expert mode as well was such a great time waster! N64 - Zelda Ocarina of Time, Mario 64 a close second, but this was just awesome. PS2 - GTA Vice City, simply because of the soundtrack! XBox - Fusion Frenzy. To this day the best party game I've ever played. Dreamcast- Evolution, a rare little find but a very fun rpg 360 - Diablo III, I could pick a Halo here for the multiplayer hilarity I've enjoyed on it but that was the last 360 game I bought and it was crazy amounts of fun PS4 - FFXV, beautiful game, blown away by it
EDIT: forgot my GameCube and Wii, will have to go with Smash Bros x2., they were just great concepts and great fun!
Then shoutouts for all Pokemon games across all handhealds because after that I have barely ever enjoyed anything else even half as much! Annnd finally PC has to go for Civilisation II, an absolute belter though just beats away a guilty pleasure of mine being Sim Tower.

I stick a rating out of ten on everything I play so technically I could belt out a big list of what I think are best but favourite is far too hard. First game ever played is a much more thought-evoking question for me. There are so many houses and rooms in the mists of my childhood memory where I can remember systems and games on them but not where they were or anything about the people who presumably lived in them. In other words, I remember the important stuff. Btw just to stir things up Robbie's got the best taste so far

Theres so so much I didn't even cover as well, MGS, Tombi (Tomba in US), Soul Caliber, the Pokemon games released for N64. Some of the stuff released between 97 - 05 I've kept because it's simply an amazing time for games.

And wow, Mongo really likes people posting in this thread.

Confessions of a Casual Gamer...
NES: Toss up between SMB 1 or 3
SNES: Never actually owned one but my top game of all time is A Link to the Past
PS1: Resident Evil 1, 2 AND 3
PS2: Fatal Frame (didn't have a lot of games for PS2 and they were literally ALL horror)
GameCube: Super Mario Kart DD (honourable mention for Resident Evil 4 but Double Dash was Nintendo-only obviously and I had Resi 4 across like 4 different consoles.)
Wii: Super Paper Mario
WiiU: Super Mario Maker
XBox 360: Fallout NV
XBone: Resident Evil 7. Just got Revelations 2 and it's actually much better than I thought it would be. Doom 2016 and Fallout 4 also good.
PC: Total Club Manager 200...4 I think, might have been 2005. Either way I spent literal years at my mates house playing through season after season with him and getting baked.
I'd like to give a shout-out to a few games from my childhood/early teens that were great like Darkseed, Duck Tales, this Mickey Mouse game on the SNES that I forget the full title of, the DK Country games, Street Racer, Super Kick Off, Dungeon Master, Splatterhouse, Altered Beast, Goldeneye, Eternal Darkness... Damn I wanna play all these again now.
Also have to mention WWF Attitude. Played it in January 2000, never watched wrestling before that, the only guys I knew were Hogan and Undertaker. My friend wanted to be Undertaker but he let me be someone very similar... Kane has been my favourite character ever since then. Marked out big for him when I saw him at Raw in London, you know that "match" where Rollins made him lie down for an easy win. Good times.

WWF Attitude was the sequel to the game that gave me my first exposure to pro wrestling when I rented it WWF Warzone. Bought WWF Attitude and the main thing I remember is the crowd cries being recorded seemingly by a couple of guys in the office. WWF also started being available to me in January 2000 exactly and I think you'll agree that was the perfect time to dive in.
