Our show opened with Northern Pro owner; Gus Arnold making his way to the ring. Gus absorbed the loving response from the Halifax crowd, and went onto speak highly of what has taken place in 2021 thus far - and what to expect in the second half of the year.
After speaking about the tremendous success of Shockwave, Gus said that the roster is at the strongest and deepest it as ever been. This has a lot to do with the signing of the 'GSP' and their instant impact on the NPW landscape and his visions for the future. Gus said that Shockwave turned a lot of heads, and how motivated the roster was to put on their best performance in support of the XHF's 20th anniversary.
Gus said that he was in a feeling out process of sorts with almost half the roster, as there had been so many new additions - he would be doing his best to remain flexible, while looking to move those who stand out and step up into the upper echelon of the company. Gus said with the XHF Trios Championships set to be decided at Night of Champions - he said that he expected the NPW roster to start looking for other like-minded individuals with the intent of creating teams of various shapes and sizes to produce the right formula for success.
Gus wished those involved in the Fatal 4 way elimination for the XHF Trios Championships the best of luck.
[The Fans Applauded.]
Gus then spoke highly of 'D' and his aspirations to take the Northern Openweight Championship to new heights and levels. D's ambitions were clear when he made the open challenge a reality at the upcoming Honor event. Coupled with D's impressive showing at Overheated - Gus said that he thought D had a tremendous chance to win the X*Crown and for Northern Pro Wrestling to finally get to the pinnacle by hoisting the top championship in the world today.
[Let's go D!]
[Let's go D!]
[Let's go D!]
Gus closed with confirming that August on the Atlantic III would consist of 6 matches on each of the days. Gus noted that he wanted to include as many wrestlers as possible, citing that this would be a huge opportunity for the cream to rise to the top. Gus insisted that big things were on the horizon this fall and beyond, and he thanked the crowd for their loyalty and support.
[Thank you, Gus!]

Trios Match
30 Minute Time Limit
Chris Parsons/Andrew Morgan/Edward Zepp vs. HNDRXX/Ronnie Long/Takaru Matsui
Trios was such a hot hit at Shockwave, that fans begged for more and Gus Arnold delivered! Tonight, Andrew Morgan, Edward Zepp, and Chris Parsons would take on the team of HNDRXX, Ronnie Long, and Takaru Matsui in a balls-to-the-walls 30 minute contest that would have the arena rocking with how much these men would put themselves through for the bragging rights of the Trios division.
Starting off the match was Ronnie Long and Andrew Morgan. Ronnie was quick to try and get behind the big man Andrew Morgan, who stood 6 feet 11 inches and nearly four hundred pounds. Morgan displayed incredible ring knowledge as he backed Ronnie into a neutral corner and thrusted his big waist into Ronnie, squeezing the air out of him. A heavy chop, and Ronnie would feel the brute force of a frying pan across his chest before hitting the canvas. Long was not faring well with his strategy at the start. Taking a bruising as Andrew Morgan has his way with him. Morgan takes Long to his team's corner and tags in Edward Zepp.
Zepp steps over the top rope entering the ring, and for a moment the two big men, Morgan and Zepp dwarf the 6’6” Ronnie Long. From both sides, Morgan and Zepp run at along from a few feet back and make a sandwich with Long! He collapses to the canvas, and Andrew Morgan goes back to the apron.
Edward Zepp was another new giant to the Northern Pro scene, and not since the days of Scott Steel, had we seen men like him and his partner Morgan. The two were terrors walking, and with them being new, the unknown factor would play to their advantage. Zepp used all his weight as he stepped on Ronnie’s back and stood there for a moment or two, treating him like a doormat.
Zepp steps off Long and lays in a kick to his head, before he reaches down and with one arm lifts Long off the canvas by his arm. As though weight meant nothing to the man, his strength alone had took Long from the canvas to his feet - where Edward Zepp would then headbutt Long into his teams corner. Nodding at his team members, they slightly move to the side as Zepp takes one step, two steps and boom crushes Ronnie in the corner! Zepp slaps the hand of Chris Parsons, showing the team work and quick tags to keep a fresh man in. Chris jumps in the ring as Zepp exits.
A chop from Parsons to the chest of Long, another one, and a third! Parsons goes for a quick short clothesline but Long out of instinct ducks and rolls into the center of the ring. He looks over at his team mates and leaps off his feet to an outstretched hand in the form of Takaru Matsui!
Takaru hits the ring with a strike to the side of Chris Parsons, followed up with a kick to his shin, and a quick elbow strike to the left side of the ribs! Takaru looks focused, his strikes aiming to throw his opponent off balance and pick them apart limb by limb. He was a master of his craft, showing that with his movement, and fluidity of every landed strike. Parsons was caught off guard, thinking his size was going to be the advantage against the smaller Takaru Matsui, but it played no role here tonight.
Swinging a haymaker at Takaru, it is ducked and Takaru slips behind Parsons, hooking his neck, and delivering a snapping dragon suplex! The fans bolt up at the impact, as it looks dreadful for Parsons, but Takaru doesn’t leave the man any time to breathe and immediately grabs Parsons legs! Takaru locks on the Indian Deathlock hold!
Falling backwards, Takaru bridges to grab the chin of Parsons, and you see and hear Parsons pain as quickly as the move was executed! He was a human pretzel to Takaru in the ring, and not able to do much about it! From the apron comes Morgan who quickly makes his way into the ring and stomps on Takaru to break up the count. The referee is unhappy with the interference, and Morgan doesn’t even bat an eye at him, knowing he had to do something for his team member.
Takaru takes a moment to recover from the stomp. Parsons is barely crawling, but attempting to, as he follows Morgan’s big boots and slithers back to his corner. Takaru goes to grab Parsons leg, and quickly pulls him away from the corner to avoid him tagging out! Playing to the strength of having the smallest man from the opposing team in the ring and worn down, Takaru tried to go for another submission hold using his legs. Crossing Parsons' legs, he looks for a sharpshooter, but Parsons brings his knees into his gut and launches his boots into the chest of Takaru to send him to the canvas quickly!
Parsons knows he doesn’t have much time, but bought himself enough to get up to his knees and make his way towards his team’s corner. He tags in Andrew Morgan just as Takaru gets back to his feet. Takaru watches the big man step over the top rope, imposing his size advantage, nearly an eight inch difference in height between Morgan and Takaru. This would not be an easy feat, not for anyone on Takaru’s team, but he takes on the challenge. Takaru circles Morgan after he gets to the center of the ring. A quick duck and dodge manuever, Takaru slips through the arms of Morgan and ends up behind him, dashing towards the ropes, hitting them hard and fast, he comes running back to meet a big boot to the face!
Takaru hits the canvas with a thud! Morgan grabs Takaru by the shoulders with both hands, and lifts him from the canvas to his feet in one swift motion. The strength of the tower known as Andrew Morgan was incredible! Fans did not know the man very well, but they were quickly impressed by what he would do next! A military press from Morgan, and he holds it, as Takaru is nearly 10 feet in the air now with Morgan’s arms stretch above his head. Dropping him flat on his back, Morgan takes two big steps towards the ropes, bouncing off them and executes a huge splash on Takaru! He hooks the leg for a cover.

Takaru gets the shoulder up for the save. Morgan lifts his opponent up off the canvas as he gets to his feet, and sends him to a neutral turnbuckle with a hard irish whip. Takaru is looking like he lost his wind with the splash, as Morgan goes to the opposite corner, and then runs as a big man does, a few long legged strides before he reaches Takaru’s corner! Nobody there! Takaru was playing possum and dives out of the way towards his corner! Morgan had put everything behind the running avalanche and literally shakes the ring when he hits the empty turnbuckles! Takaru rolls to his feet after the dive, and tags in HNDRXX!
HNDRXX like a bat out of hell, comes running across the ring, taking the big man’s legs out from underneath him with a well executed dropkick to the back of his thigh! Andrew Morgan falls like an oak tree, reaching for his leg while laying on the canvas. HNDRXX stomps the thigh area, causing Morgan to roll over to his knees, trying to get back to his feet! Shoot kicks to the back of Morgan’s knees stops that from happening, and HNDRXX lands a hearty knee to the rising head, before he grabs both arms of Andrew Morgan and tries to execute The Buddha Strangled in Vines! Morgan is nearly locked in when he breaks an arm free and rolls away from HNDRXX, getting back to his feet. We see Ronnie Long hit the ring in reaction to Chris Parsons doing so from their corner!
Mayhem ensues as Zepp steps in, and so does Takaru, all six men in the ring swinging on one another! First Zepp and Takaru battle towards the ropes, Zepp getting the better of him, and knocking him down, Takaru rolls to the apron, grabbing Zepp’s leg, and pulling it but it doesn’t do anything. Andrew Morgan goes for a clothesline on HNDRXX but the fresher man ducks, and Morgan makes contact with the back of Zepp! Zepp goes over the top rope and falls on the outside!
Ronnie Long and Chris Parsons are swinging on one another, before Parsons hits him with a double arm DDT! Morgan is looking over the top rope, upset with his mistake. Parsons comes back to his corner from the apron, tagging himself in with a slap to the big mans shoulder, and steps back into the ring! We see HNDRXX taking full count of the numbers in the ring, before he makes his move and execute a high drop kick on the back of Morgan, sending him over the top rope! Parsons grabs Long who is getting up in the corner, and hits the Nightmare After Party on Long!
Chris Parsons flaunts to the audience, showing off a pose as he relishes his handiwork on Ronnie Long. The legal man HNDRXX is on the top rope with a missile drop kick to the back! Parsons is launched into the turnbuckle and comes staggering out before falling to his back. HNDRXX is quick to take advantage of Parsons being on the canvas, given the size difference, his submission background comes into full effect here and HNDRXX is able to lock in the Buddha Strangled in Vines!
Chris Parsons is audible as the move is locked in! HNDRXX wrenches back to apply more pressure on Parsons shoulders and arms! Zepp begins to head towards the bottom rope from the outside, and goes to slide in, but Takaru hits him with a sliding shining wizard from the arpon! Parsons begins to tap the arm of HNDRXX awkwardly from the hold, as he sees Zepp crumble from the move and realizes he isn’t getting out of the hold!
Announcer: Winners of this match, via submission, the team of HNDRXX, Ronnie Long, and Takaru Matsui!
HNDRXX lets go of the hold and pushes off of Chris Parsons to roll backward to his knees. Takaru joins him in the ring, as Ronnie Long looks on from the ropes behind them. This was a war for all six men, and it could have easily gone the other way.

Night of Champions Preview
Tag Team Match
The ReVenants (Williams & Garcia) vs. The Bastards (Riot & Windsor)
--
Three letters announced over the PA in a super slow fashion precede the explosive sound of "When the Levee Breaks" by Led Zeppelin playing. The lights in the arena incessantly flash on and off as Keith Williams marches out onto the stage, followed by Rob Garcia. Back to the camera, Keith thrusts both hands upward with three fingers pointed up on each. The three turn into two, the two turn into a pair of middle fingers that Keith continues to flaunt as he whirls around and the lights return to normal.
Smirking, Williams shrugs and nonchalantly shows his palms, acting as if he's clueless to why he's getting hate. Rob Garcia and Keith Williams walk the ramp, giving the choir of boos no mind. Waggling his eyebrows to get a rise out of the fans, Keith fires off a series of mustache strokes before strutting his way down to the ring. Slowly rolling under the bottom rope to enter. Rob Garcia jumps up on the apron, stepping between the middle ropes. The Ultimate Kingpin keeps rolling until he's in the center of the squared circle. Kneeling, his back to the camera again, KW points at the design on his jacket with a single thumb. Rob Garcia poses behind him, as the ReVenants take their time in the limelight.
RING ANNOUNCER: And now coming to the ring; it is THE Frank Windsor!
Cameras pan around the sea of anxious people who are cheering loudly at the showing of respect towards the Galactic Sex Pirates. Suddenly, the cheering explodes as the loudspeakers crackle, all attention devoted to these very special proceedings. A large British Flag unfolds from the rafters and hangs majestically over the ring area, each ear expecting to hear the music of Frank Windsor.
The big screen started to show all sorts of British iconic sites. Children playing in the streets, football matches, police in the streets. The first few bars of “Hello” by Adele blares out before it seamlessly mixes into “Never Fade Away” by Samurai. Brilliant silver strobe lights flash through the arena as rainbow coloured confetti falls from the rafters. The screen now goes to show footage of Frank in his silver Mercedes convertible cruising the streets of Bradford, Yorkshire.
The curtains at the top of the ramp way are pushed open and they emerge. The fans give a standing ovation as a huge silver Palanquin is pushed through the curtains being carried by midgets. Sitting atop it in his leopard fur coat with a hood is Frank Windsor. The Palanquin is carried down the ramp way and stops by the ring. Natalia Santiago and Finn Corbyn walks around it and enter the ring and saunter around the ring, eyeing the crowd. Little Ronnie slow enters the ring over the top rope. One of the midget stoops down in front of Frank who uses him as a step to get down. The midget collapses under Frank's Covid weight. Finn laughs in the ring.
Windsor exhales slowly as he looks at his team in the ring before smiling and acknowledging the fans in attendance. He reaches the ringside area and uses the stairs to ascend onto the apron. Looking around momentarily, Windsor mounts the turnbuckle adjacent to the stairs, resting his left foot on the top rope. With a brief bow, Windsor lowers the hood of his leopard fur coat and gazes around the facility, soaking in the numerous reactions from the crowd. Upon listening to their calls and looking over at his associates, Windsor hops down into the ring and takes off his fur coat. He then stands and looks up at the ramp way waiting for his opponent.
"Take It Easy, Chicken" by Mansun bursts through the arena PA as the entrance ramp is bathed in red and white spotlights. They arc and twist over the ramp, waiting to pick out Rob Riot. Just as the vocals kick in, Riot steps through the curtains, twirling his long black ring jacket behind him as he does. He takes a moment to soak in the crowd's response, nodding to himself as he does, before turning his attention to the ring. The final member of this four way credenza better known as a tag team match, Rob Riot. A member of the Galactic Space Pirates with an impressive showing at XHF Call to Arms. Rob was the one in better physical shape in comparison to his partner Frank Windsor. The 37 year old veteran still had something to prove and had an impressive resume to boot. With Rob Riot’s blend of MMA and collegiate wrestling, he fit right in at Northern Pro. Hitting the ring like he owned it, Rob Riot stands next to Frank Windsor in the corner deciding who will start the match.
The referee checks all the men for weapons, runs through the rules, and asks both teams to give him a clean match. Rob Riot chooses to go first to give Frank Windsor time to recover from his entrance. On the other side, Keith Williams loses a battle of rock, paper, scissors so the ReVs start the match with Rob Garcia. Fittingly, the Rob’s of Northern Pro began the match in ultimate wrestling psychology style. An elbow collar tie-up, turned into a hammerlock by Riot, left Garcia only one choice, and he grabbed the leg with his free arm, tripping Riot so he could run to the ropes, Riot flopped on his belly as Garcia leaped over him heading full steam across the ring. Riot jumps up to his feet, leap frogs a rebounding Garcia! Garcia smacks the ropes, turns and hip toss by Riot! Smacking the canvas like a fish out of water, Garcia only registers the move and is back to his feet in moments; squaring off with Rob Riot again. The two go to tie-up but Rob Riot shoots a double-leg-takedown to Rob Garcia, causing him to turn to his stomach to protect himself from a pinning situation. Riot pops up into an amatuer style stance on Garcia who is on his hands and knees, and within seconds Rob Riot has Garcia in a double arm chicken wing hold!
Interjecting himself to stop his opponent from getting the advantage, Keith Williams swiftly runs in and kicks Rob Riot in the shoulders, causing the hold to be broken up. Keith is ushered back to his corner by the referee, Rob Riot picks up Garcia and sends him into a turnbuckle. Rob Riot goes for body blows, while Garcia protects his face! Well placed jabs and punches and with haste Garcia switches the scenario and places Riot in the corner. Garcia begins chopping the chest of Rob Riot multiple times! The chops leave a red stinging mark and the crowd “Woooooo’s” the move as Garcia lands an enziguri using the middle rope! Pulling Rob Riot away from the ropes, Garcia eyes the turnbuckle once more, checks behind him to make sure Riot hasn’t moved, and runs up the turnbuckle, executing a moonsault off the 2nd turnbuckle! But he doesn’t cover, instead Garcia goes back to the corner and does it again but this time from the top rope! Picture perfect landing and into the cover!
1….
2….
Two and a half as Riot shoots a shoulder off the canvas! Garcia grabs Riot and heads towards the ReVs corner. As he steps up to tag, Riot elbows him and gets free, but Garcia tags Keith Williams in and the two immediately grab him and throw him into the corner! Riot gets stomped a few times before the referee forces a count, and Garcia stretches it to the four count before returning to the apron.
Keith Williams throws up a picture box with his fingers, acts like he is snapping a photo before landing a straight punch to the face of Rob Riot and then lifts to the top rope. Garcia smashes a forearm in Rob’s back, allowing Keith time to get up on the second turnbuckle, as he hooks Rob Riot by the neck and goes for a superplex! Rob grabs the top rope to stop it, and head buttes Keith not once but twice, before Garcia strikes him again. The referee warns Garcia, but he yells back it’s his corner! Rob headbuttes Keith one more time, sending him off the turnbuckle and then turns and kicks Garcia in the face, knocking him down to the apron and to the outside of the ring! Rob, not a high flyer by any measure, gains his balance, sees Keith getting up, leaps over him, SUNSET FLIP into a cover!

3---
Keith kicks out at the very last millisecond! He rolls out and gets caught with a straight right from Rob Riot who clocks him as he reaches his feet. Rob lands a hard european uppercut on Williams, sending him into his corner, where Rob Riot tags in Frank Windsor. The two execute a double team suplex on Keith, which allows Frank Windsor to gain some traction as he takes over for the Bastards!
Frank Windsor scooped Keith off the canvas and immediately began putting the hurt on his back and neck area with forearm smashes and haymakers! The Bastards Founder may have appeared winded when he came out to the ring, but he was a force unlike any other in this match. Precision with his strikes and no movement wasted, Frank was a veteran and showed that in his fluid movement around the ring as he picked apart Keith Williams.
Shooting Keith into the ropes, Frank catches him in a powerslam as Keith went for a crossbody, holding him there and doing a curl to get a better hold, Frank pops his hips and throws Keith over his head with a Fall Away Slam! Rolling to the apron nearest the Bastards corner, Keith is looking worse for wear since Frank reversed the top rope move. Frank looks over at his partner who tells him to finish the Great White Terror off. Heading to the ropes, Frank reaches between the top and middle rope, grabbing Keith by the neck, and begins to lift him up. Keith elbows Frank between the ropes, then throws an elbow as he reaches his feet! Frank jabs Keith in the face mask that he’s been wearing, which doesn’t quite do what Frank thought it would - and Keith Williams guillotines Frank on the top rope!
Keith lands on the outside, wasting no time he slides in and chop blocks the knee as Frank holds his neck and tries to go for the tag to his partner. Keith grins at Rob Riot, as he grabs the leg of Frank Windsor and gives it a heave to pull him away from their corner. Another heave and Keith is close enough to his corner that he quickly tags in Rob Garcia and then grabs Frank’s leg, dropping an elbow on the inside of the knee!
Garcia heads to the top rope as Keith holds Frank’s legs down! FROG SPLASH! Garcia bounces off his opponent after impact and rolls into the center of the ring. The referee tells Keith to get to the ring apron, and he mouths something to the referee, letting him know he will, but not because the referee told him to. Garcia senton splashes Frank and goes for a cover!
1!
2!
Rob Riot breaks up the count! Keith jumps back in the ring and the referee loses control of the match just like that. Rob gets a kick on Keith as he tries to swing on him. The two men end up throwing haymakers, before Keith grabs Rob by his tights and rolls backwards, sending Rob Riot through the middle and bottom rope to the outside. Keith Williams rolls out behind him, continuing to kick Riot as he works to get to his feet.
Inside the ring, Garcia is on top of the downed Frank Windosr, reigning down punches, but Frank being a brawler of his own, guards his head from the blows. Frank over powers the smaller Garcia and tosses him off, giving him time to scramble to his feet. Garcia meets him just as he stands up with a heavy chop and goes for an irish whip, but Frank holds on to the top rope. A kick from Garcia to Frank’s gut and another attempt of an irish whip, but Frank holds his ground and instead grabs him by the waste, spins around, and then hooks Garcia under the arm before delivering an EXPLODER SUPLEX! The snap and force of the move looks devastating on impact, as Garcia is folded up like an accordion in the center of the ring!
Frank surveys the ring, realizing that Keith Williams and Rob Riot are on the outside fighting now at the barricade near the ring announcer’s table. Frank picks up Rob Garcia and tosses him into the Bastards corner. Frank rushes across the ring with a nimbleness unlike any other, and body splashes him in the corner, but stays there to keep Garcia trapped! With a lift, Garcia is put on the top turnbuckle, and Frank gets his neck in a suplex position from a standing position in the ring. Windsor steps back from the corner, now with Garcia on his shoulders and hooking the leg, he walks towards the center of the ring, showing off his strength and ability to balance the man. Out of nowhere, the camera man jumps up on the ring apron in front of Windsor, and Frank drops Garcia with the BRADFORD BOMB!
1!

3--
The cameraman clocks Windsor in the back of the head as the referee was about to hit the three count! Rob Riot doesn’t see this as he has Keith up against the barricade and is laying it in to the abs and chest with punches. The referee signals for the bell, as we see the cameraman rip off the cap and what appears to be a wig, however still wearing a pair of black eye glasses, to reveal Neo James Carner! The last of the ReVenants stomps on Frank Windsor’s back, before realizing Keith is on the outside.
Rolling out of the ring, Neo James Carner grabs the camera and rushes towards Rob Riot, but the bell ringing changes his focus, and Rob sees him from his peripherals, moving out of the way. Rob Riot slides into the ring and checks on Frank, as Rob Garcia rolls off the apron and hits the floor on the outside.
Ring Announcer: Winners of this match via Disqualification, The Bastards, Rob Riot and Frank Windsor! (23:48)
The standing ReVenant members help pick up Rob Garcia and leave the scene of the crime. Neo James Carner pointing to the Bastards, mouths “This isn’t over!” as the trio attempted to make their way up the ramp.
This brought Chris Parsons, Andrew Morgan, Kintaru and Greg Adkins through the curtain. They rushed to the scene, and it what felt like a moment of true brotherhood - they checked on their fallen brother, while also chasing the Revs off from doing further damage. At the sight of the large group of Galactic Sex Pirates, the outnumbered Revs decided to jump the guard rail and exit the ringside area through the crowd.
Frank Windsor finally back up to his feet, holds the back of his head where the camera hit him.
His crew was there to offer support, and the feeling in the arena was that this match served as an accelerant to what will take place at Night of Champions. The crowd looked on, hoping that Frank Windsor was going to be alright - and were sizzling over what the future might hold between these two factions.

Triple Threat Match
30 Minute Time Limit
Jesse Jamester vs. Billy Fowler vs. Steve Awesome
--
This match had 'steal the show' written all over it. In a short amount of time, Steve Awesome has really turned some heads in NPW. Coupled with the fact that he as on the winner team of Call to Arms, and is now the co holder of the XHF Tag Team Championships - It's safe to say that the XHF legend is worthy of the moniker, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Perhaps, he could be peaking at this very moment. His match against 'D" for the Northern Openweight Championship will conclude August on the Atlantic. That if, unless Donzig plays spoiler, which would create some major waves in Gus' plans.
Billy Fowler comes to Northern Pro with a strong resume and the skills to back it up. One third of the Trio - The Bastards, Fowler and his boys made major waves when they showed up at Shockwave and ran the KGB out of the arena. Something tells me that deed won't go unpunished, as the Bastards will be looking across the ring at the KGB in two weeks at Night of Champions. Fowler wasn't done any favours as he was thrown right into the mix against the top stars of NPW on night one
Jesse Jamester has been blossoming into a superstar over the past year. His affiliations aside, JJ has come into his own, and truly belongs in the upper echelon of superstars on the XHF Network and Northern Pro Wrestling respectively. Jesse's big victory over Eron Hunter is still being considered for match of the year in Northern Pro Wrestling. The decision to raise Hunter's hand and show him the respect that everyone else has already given him, was a step in the right direction for JJ. The fans were caught off guard, but seemed to appreciate his candid gesture.
What's next for the King of Violence? Jesse emerged victorious against Spike Kane and Dylan Black a week ago in one of the more brutal matches you'll ever see. One has to wonder how much gas his has left in the tank. What we do know, is his tolerance for pain is up there with the best of them.
As the match got underway, there wasn't much of a feeling out process, as Jesse wouldn't allow either man to get comfortable. Perhaps it was his recent battles, or the fact that he feels he represents the company, and these two opponents would be classified as part of the new talent signings - either way, the message was received loud and clear. Jesse hit Folower with a running clothesline that knocked him over the top rope early on. JJ then set his sights on Steve Awesome. Perhaps some of the misguided comments Steve made about him stuck in his craw... but either way, JJ was ready for a fight. JJ lit Awesome up with stiff strikes in the corner, and buckled him with a straight right, knocking him to the mat.
It didn't take long for a concerned Esmerelda Von Krauss to walk out from behind the curtain for a closer look. Her presence wasn't detected by anyone early on, but that would certainly change as the match professed. Fowler dusted himself off and entered the ring, and inserted himself in the battle.
Fowler showed little fear or hesitation as he lashed out and gave Jesse a receipt with a nasty european uppercut, followed by a running clothesline of his own which dumped the 'Canadian Nightmare' over the top rope. EVK started to slowly move closer to ringside, once again undetected.
Awesome crept up behind Fowler, and turned him around before driving him to the mat with a vicious DDT. Awesome made the cover, but was only able to get a two count. The element of surprise yielded decent results there, as Fowler appeared to be on the ropes. JJ picked himself off the floor, looked up and noticed EVK In the distance. JJ couldn't help but shake his head, but he was now aware of the danger that was lurking in the shadows.
Inside of the ring, JJ saw fit inserting himself back into the fray. At this point, Fowler was able to catch his breath, and he fired up... having both opponents back peddling, and looked every bit the part of a man who was capable of swimming with the top stars in the company. The fans seemed to enjoy Fowler's skill and instincts inside of the ring, and there was certainly more than a couple of sections in the crowd that were pro GSP.
As the match waged on, it was clear that each wrestler was having their ups and downs, and it could come down to opportunity and timing. That's what Esmerelda Von Krauss provided. EVK saw that Steve Awesome was doing well in the contest, and she couldn't help herself. 'EVK' wanted to get a closer look, and perhaps finally earn Steve's affection. The savvy Jamester was able to creep behind and see an opportunity developing. Awesome was able to hit Fowler with a Brain Buster. Before he could make the cover, JJ rushed in from the side and executed a nasty flying forearm strike that caught Steve clean!
JJ looked down at EVK and shined her up, which drew her nastiest look. Meantime, JJ was able to pick Fowler up and execute the Jesterplex for the pinfall victory!
Winner: Jesse Jamester via Jesterplex (10:12)
This is where things got interesting. JJ left the ring, and the referee was checking on Fowler.
[D.]
Out from the crowd, the Northern Openweight Champion hit the ring and it appeared as though he was looking to protect Steve Awesome from Esmerelda! D knows all to well what 'EVK' is capable of. Steve started to come around, and when he stood up, he saw D on one side, and EVK on the other. Steve was clearly trying to piece together what had just happened to him, as JJ had rocked his world in the match. D tried to talk sense to Steve, but instead, Awesome seemed to pick flight over fight, and rolled out of the ring and disappeared through the crowd!
EVK hissed at D, who pointed at her and told her that she had better keep her distance and not stick her nose into his business. D, then dropped down, and left the ring area as well - leaving EVK to assess the situation and plot her next move.

(The Reporter and his Cameraman are slowly stalking down the corridor looking around as if something is going to happen or someone is going to catch them. They peek around the corner and see The Dark Stars standing guard at the door their arms crossed and glaring straight at the opposite wall. They see a Messenger come up to them with a note.)
Niko: "State your business."
Messenger: "I have a message that says urgent."
Kono: "If this communique is a lie then you shall never be seen again."
Messenger: "Look I just get paid to deliver messages. I don't know which is a real message and which is a lie."
(Niko looks at Kono and nods his head and Kono takes the message and goes into the locker room. Sounds are heard and The Dark Novas exit with the note.)
Commandrix: "Are you the courier who brought this communique."
Messenger: "Yes ma'am."
Commandrix: "You know who gave this communique to you and paid you to deliver this communique."
Messenger: "It was just some guy."
Commandrix: "If this is a deception. You shall never be seen again."
Terminatrix: "I've been waiting weeks since the last murders I committed."
Commandrix: "Let's go."
(They all leave their locker room and follow the messenger as The Cameraman looks nervous and The Reporter silently pumps his fist happily.)
Reporter: "Let's go."
Cameraman: "I don't know. They don't look like fools and they showed how dangerous they are."
Reporter: "All we need is to film and get answers from this mystery person. Then we can be gone in no time and they won't even know what happened. Let's go."
(They continue to watch for The Dark Stars and Dark Novas as they look around and slowly and silently open the door. They see a figure, who's back is to them, meditating in the middle of the floor but there is a distortion field that gives off a twitching distorted image of the mystery figure.)
Reporter: "Hi we're from CBC and we just want to interview you."
(The mystery figure snarls.)
Cameraman: "I don't think this is going to go well."
Reporter: "It will when we gain his confidence."
Cameraman: "I don't think cooperation is on his mind."
Reporter: "He's going to open up."
(A flash of light suddenly blinds them briefly and The Dark Stars and Dark Novas appear with the Messenger. Niko and Kono grab them by their throats and fling them hard into the wall as Commandrix does the same to the Messenger. Terminatrix picks up the camera and looks at it before giving it to Commandrix while holding her weapon on The Reporter and The Cameraman.)
Terminatrix: "This is called a camera and it looks like it's still filming images."
(Commandrix taps a few commands into her waistband and the camera shows what was filmed. She taps in another command and the images disappear as if they never existed.)
Commandrix: "I'll leave the interrogations to you Dark Stars."
Kono: "Gladly Commandrix."
Niko: "You sent that messenger to deceive us!"
Reporter: "We were just doing our job."
Kono: "You violated our sanctum and you expect us to believe anything you say! You never got our approval and you want sympathy and now you shall feel the punishment of The Dark Stars and Dark Novas!"
(They lift and slam The Cameraman, The Reporter and the Messenger against the wall still holding them by the throats choking them.)
Commandrix: "You thought you were fooling us when you sent that messenger to give us that deceptive communique. Yet we aren't as foolish or stupid as you think we are. Now you shall see what we do to those who commit deception. your punishment shall be both quick and painful and as I warned the messenger that you shall never be seen again."
(The mystery figure is heard getting up and roars as a hand shoots into the scene but Commandrix shoots her hand up stopping him.)
Commandrix: "Nickto. Restradan. Guadan."
(The mystery figure stops and the hand just clenches into a fist and knuckles crack and the mystery figure snarls before the hand pulls back.)
Commandrix: "Since you want some words from The Dark Stars before you all disappear permanently from this world. Niko would you like to go first seeing you are quite anxious to say something before you carry out judgement."
(Niko takes the camera and looks into it.)
Niko: "Lord Dominicus I know you didn't do this and I know you are quite upset about my interference. Yes I may have taken things to the extreme as you say on your world. Yet like I said it's business not personal. If you wish to take it both ways that's up to you and you alone. That's how we shall go about this match when we are in the ring. That's up to you. Myself I respect you still because that's how I am. Still if you make it personal I'll take it personally too. There's no give or take here. Take this anyway you want Lord Dominicus but one way or the other we shall settle things once and for all. One way or the other we'll see who's the better wrestler."
Commandrix: "Is there anything to you want to say Kono."
(Kono looks into the camera as Niko points the lens at him.)
Kono: "Tonight we don't care who your mystery partner is Eron Hunter. You and Lord Dominicus shall see how much wrath we have and so shall the whole NPW roster. We shall reassert our fearsome reputation as gladiators who don't care about anything but destroying opponents. We vow to send a message nobody's going to forget."
Commandrix: Now if you want to do the honors Terminatrix and carry out the sentence."
Terminatrix: "Gladly."
Commandrix: "Let's go. You have a match to wrestle in and a message to send. Come. It's time to reveal who you really are. Too bad you three won't see it."
(They leave the locker room with the mystery figure as sounds of fear and laser fire are heard as the scene slowly fades to black.)

Co-Main Event
Imperial Crown Tag Team Championship
Prime Time (c) vs. The Speed Dragons
--
This was it. The first title defense of the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships as Primal and Timeless as Primetime defend their titles against Black Dragon and Marcus Smith as the Speed Dragons.
The Speed Dragons were ready for this opportunity as Marcus Smith and Back Dragon came together in a similar fashion to Primetime. Marcus Smith and Black Dragon had feuded for a time with Marcus Smith being unable to defeat Black Dragon until after three or four attempts at doing so. After that, Marcus finds himself in hot water and Black Dragon comes to make the save. They bonded over this and have been a tag team ever since. This being nearly two years ago.
Marcus Smith and Primal start the match out with some strong back and forth action. Marcus keeps Primal at bay with some arm drags, hip tosses, and a body slam. Though some of these moves bring Marcus into close contact with Primal and his ghastly, smelly body hair. Primal uses some power moves along with tosses and a couple of suplexes when he gets to his own offensive.
Marcus tags in Black Dragon and the pair of them team up against Primal, doing a double clothesline that brings the big man down to the mat. Once Marcus is out of the ring, Primal capitalizes on a mistake made by Black Dragon to go on the offensive. A gore out of a corner nearly turning Black Dragon inside out! Primal tags in Timeless to take over while Black Dragon is laying on the mat and wondering what day it was and why his mommy didn’t wake him up to skip school and bake cookies with her.
The champions showed some great teamwork and cohesion. Circumstance brought them together, as well as a respect for one and other. Some experts thought that their lack of time together might be their undoing, and the young upstart tandem from Japan would use their superior quickness and experience to overwhelm the champions. However, it looked as though the Imperial Crown Champions had their shit together in this one.
Timeless hops into the ring and begins to take the Black Dragon apart with swift suplexes, though Marcus makes the save after some punishment has been dealt and Timeless goes for the cover.
The referee works to get Marcus out of the ring and Timeless gets Black Dragon to the corner and tags in Primal. They both work over Black Dragon with a few double team moves before the ref gets back to them and yells at Timeless to leave the ring.
Alone with Primal in the ring isn’t any better for Black Dragon as Primal hits a sit out spine buster called the Corrosion of Conformity. Primal goes for the Empty Abyss (jackhammer), but Black Dragon blocks it. He takes Primal down in a suplex and starts to head toward his own corner to where Marcus Smith is waiting with a stretched out hand. Primal gets up and tries to stop Black Dragon, but he dives and MAKES THE TAG!
Marcus Smith comes into the ring like a whirlwind of fists and elbows, dropping Primal to the mat within seconds. Timeless jumps into the ring to help, but is doubled over with a gut punch and then ddt’d to the mat! Timeless rolls out of the ring while Primal gets up. Primal goes for a hairy bear hug, but catches an uppercut to the jaw that staggers him backwards instead.
Marcus body slams Primal and wipes at his chest in disgust from the sweat and the hair that has come off of Primal. He drills the rising Primal with an elbow strike to the side of the head to stun him so that he can drag Primal to the corner to tag in Black Dragon. They hit a double Russian leg sweep and Marcus exits the ring.
Black Dragon gets Primal up and goes for a brain buster, but the move gets blocked by Primal, who throws Black Dragon to the ropes. Instead of meeting Black Dragon on the rebound, Primal makes the tag to Timeless, who hops over the ropes as Black Dragon heads toward the ropes and clocks him with the metal hand!
Timeless gets Turnabout (Rings of Saturn) locked in. Marcus Smith comes in to make the save, but gets hit by a Dusted (Gore) from Primal. Black Dragon taps out, cinching in the first title defense victory for Primetime.
Winners and STILL Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions: Prime Time (12:04)

Double Main Event
Grudge Match
The Dark Stars & Mystery Partner vs. Lord Dominicus/Eron Hunter & Mystery Partner
--
The Dark Stars were out first to a less than favourable response from the NPW crowd. Niko and Kono find themselves on the cusp of championship gold once again, and have gone out of their way to target Lord Dominicus recently. When they entered the ring, they asked for a mic, and asked the NPW crowd to stand to welcome their tag team partner...
[Xialong!]
Some experts might've guessed that this was who was set to show up to assist them in this match. But nothing was ever official until it was made public until the AWF Officially closed their doors for good. Xialong will definitely add value to an already stacked group that consists of the Dark Stars and Dark Novas. Xialong walked to the ring, and joined the Dark Stars like a group of old friends.
[Boom.]
It was time for the other side to make their way to the ring. The North American Double Crown Champion; Lord Dominicus lead the way, and he was followed by NPW favourite - Eron Hunter. These two were successful in defeating 'JJ' and 'Cav' a couple of months ago, and found that they had some great chemistry as a team. One thing is for sure, the two men have immense respect for one and other.
Once inside the ring, the referee stood between both sides, not wanting to have the battle start before Lord Dominicus could announce who he and Hunter had chosen as their third man. 'LD' gave a speech about loyalty, and honour. With that said, it was time to introduce their partner.
[Freakke!]
Donzig though he had Freakke out injured, but that was obviously not the case.
The fans in the arena ERUPTED with cheers. Freakke showed his true colours when he defiantly refused to join the KGB at Shockwave and then a vicious 4 on 2 attack persisted. Freakke stood his ground, and showed the NPW fans that he wasn't going to compromise who he is for anyone. Even in the face of danger.
Freakke walked to the ring with a bit of a limp, still obviously not quite 100% - but what a statement being made here by Lord Dominicus, Eron Hunter and Freakke. An unlikely trio, but one that the fans are most certainly behind.
Before the referee could ring the bell, The Dark Stars and Xialong attacked.
[Donzig!]
Obviously Donzig was watching in the back, and the mere sight of Freakke set him off, and he decided to rush to the ring to put a further beating on him. BUT - Freakke was ready for him. As DOnzig hit the ring area, Freakke must've assumed it would be a possibility, because he used the ropes to catapult himself onto the arena floor and knocked Donzig back five feet with a plancha! Freakke mounted Donzig and laced him up with some stiff shots, and the fans were eating it up.
Meanwhile in the ring, The duo of Hunter and LD were holding their own, until Niko was able to turn the tide, along with Kono and isolate LD for a beatdown. This then lead to a double powerbomb! The referee was desperately trying to restore order - but there was just something vicious in the air on this night, and with August on the Atlantic on the horizon, everyone was looking to make a statement prior to settling their respective scores.
Hunter and Xialong would battle it out. Any chance Hunter could escape, he would try to assist but it would only give LD a brief moment of reprieve, before he was again faced with a two against one situation.
Xialong showed he meant business as well, as he ended up spiking Hunter to the mat hard with a vicious DDT! XIalong then hit the top rope and executed a flying leg drop that caught Hunter clean!
This then lead to a three on one against LD, while Hunter was down and out.
Meanwhile, Donzig and Freakke were brawling all over the aisle, and eventually lead to them fighting at the top of the ramp. Freakke was almost able to dispose of Donzig but somehow Donzig kept his balance and refused to fo down. NPW security rushed the scene, and did their best to break up the battle. The last thing the arena saw was Freakke and Donzig slugging it out, before a huddle of bodies exited through the gorilla position.
Back in the ring, Lord Domincus was up against it. 3 against 1, and this was definitely a ploy to soften him up prior to AoTA. Hunter got up but the Dark Stars were ready, along with Xialong a triple powerbomb followed!
The referee was sick and tired of the chaos and waved the match off, declaring it a no contest.
The referee waved medics out to the ring to try and restore order, and to check on LD and Hunter who were both looking worse for ware. Within moments, The Dark Stars and Xialong had decided to scatter, and they each left through one side of the ring and out through the crowd.
The NPW medical staff checked on LD and helped him to the back. Before the medics could return to check on Hunter, a moment in which our audience won't soon forget took place.
[Shown in the crowd, a blur of white pushes its way through the sea of fans as a cable usually meant to secure a title during a ladder match randomly descends from the ceiling, distracting a lone Eron Hunter that remains in the ring. At the barricade, the man in white is Keith Williams. The Great White Terror leaps over the barrier and slides in the ring, placing himself behind his prey, Hunter.]
[The fans try to warn Eron that a threat is near, but he's too curious why there's a chain hanging down from above. Slipping a metal spike out of his pocket, Keith holds it high before driving the point of the weapon deep into the shoulder blade of Eron Hunter. Spinning around, Hunter stops another attempt at stabbing him, holding the arm that's grasping the spike as he struggles to disarm Keith.]
[Expressionless, Williams headbutts Hunter in the face repeatedly. WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! Flesh and bone meets a plastic shield that Keith started wearing after Eron damaged his mustache beyond repair.]
[Dazed and his defenses weakened, Hunter is open to a second attack from the spike by the Great White Terror. Targeting his forehead, Keith jabs the sharp end down into the ripe head meat and doesn't stop until there's blood gushing everywhere. On his knees, hands up and covering his face as a last ditch effort to protect himself, Hunter is bicycle kicked in the side of the head.]
[His all white suit now stained with blood, Keith keeps on the offensive, stomping Eron until there's zero movement or response from the cruiserweight. Williams using his foot, pushes Hunter onto his back. Dragging the spike in a jagged line across Eron's chest, KW leaves behind a gruesome wound that pours red.]
[Satisfied with his handiwork, Williams removes a torn Lynx mask from his jacket and hastily puts it on his victim. Grabbing hold of the cable that descended, Keith secures it around the ankles of Eron Hunter, checking that it's snug before signaling to someone to raise it. Slowly but surely, the chain is dragged upward along with Eron Hunter until he's hanging several feet above the ring where he stops. Handed a microphone from a company stooge, the Great White Terror steps underneath the man he stabbed to a bloody pulp as gore drips down further discoloring his clothes.]
Keith Williams: "You can only take so much until something is taken from you."
Keith Williams: "You pleaded for blood, for misery, for pain. That was your mistake to make. There will be no prisoners of war. Only casualties."
Pausing to look up, the Mueller face guard of Keith is splattered by the falling blood from Eron Hunter.
Keith Williams: "I am the devil. And I am here to do the devil's work."
Dropping the microphone, the Great White Terror adjusts his gaze to meet the camera, awkwardly staring while smearing the blood on his mask with both hands.
The fans looked disgusted as well as deeply concerned. Eron Hunter was hanging by his feet, with blood dripping, and a lynx mask over his face. It was as if he had been 'big game' hunted and poached by some rich douche. The symbolism was ever resent, and Keith Williams stood tall and admired his work while the fans cringed.
Our show went off the air with one final shot of Keith Williams in a white suit, which was covered in the blood of Eron Hunter.

1!
2!

3--
The cameraman clocks Windsor in the back of the head as the referee was about to hit the three count!

Winners and STILL Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions: Prime Time (12:04)
The Champions mugged for the camera for a few moments post match. The fans applauded as their top tandem held their ground and defeated the challenge of a worthy adversary on their home turf.
