Right now, I imagine the single word on some people's mind are why? Why did I feel the need to further the insult on Mimic last week on Collision. I did it for a very simple reason. Every single kick, every elbow, every backfist or anything else I do in that ring is a statement to Steve Awesome. Sure some people though what I did to Mimic was nothing more then being a bully, a jerk just because I could but as I said, Mimic was an example of what I am willing to do each and every week until I get put across that ring with him.
But the common misconception is that I want that title around his waist. That couldn't be further from the truth. I don't care about winning the World Title from his waist. Should it be for the title, I won't complain but this is a matter between right and wrong. This about someone who has had to work for years and years to get to this point, continually getting passed up for this guy, for that guy because I didn't have that look. So instead, people like Steve Awesome get the chances that someone like me don't get. A million dollar body with marginal skill to back it up.
So instead of people getting to see good wrestling, they have to put up with someone who does the least amount they have to in order to get the win. I've gave this company great wrestling and what has Steve Awesome gave them? Nothing!
I'm getting too worked up about this thing. Let me calm down for a second.
Okay, like I said earlier, last week was just a sign of things to come. So instead of giving me what I want and what I deserve, management has put me against two guys this week that aren't named Steve Awesome. One man, I know doesn't deserve a thing he's gotten and that's you Joe Everyman. For a couple of years now I've watched you struggle your way though match after match. People, at times, have been hyping you up to be the next big star, that you deserve a run at the top of the card. Then what do you usually do?
You half ass it for copious amounts of time and people still think that every once in a while, when you show a flash of what you're capable of doing, you've got that undeserved label on you. There is a word for people like you Joe and that's, quite frankly, worthless. Joe, I've faced you a few times in the span we've been competing in the same promotion and every time, it always seems to end the same doesn't it? You don't tap into your potential and make something of yourself so I end up planting you on your back as I pin you.
That's just what you are kid. An undeserving talent.
Falcon on the other hand, our National Champion, I don't know the first thing about you. Can't really comment on who you are or what you do. Might be a good guy or you could be an asshole. Either way, you're just in my way of proving that I deserve to face Steve Awesome.
In the end, you're nothing but road blocks in my journey.
