"Didn't manage to get that win over Emo McDiamond and Andrew Jacobsen on Sunday night but it's quite alright. I'm not ready to throw a fit over it or anything. I'm cool and collected because that's how I roll these days. Brad Kane is a cool customer unless you happen to follow me on Twitter then you know how full of self doubt I really am these days. It's like no matter what I do in that ring I still have this lingering thought that I'm not worth anything.
Maybe its the words people have been saying getting to me but I'm not too sure either way. I'd like to be able to come out and say that I believe in myself each and every week. Well I can say it but I know I'd be lying to myself and everyone else in the locker room. All things considered Spike and I should've won but something just happened and I'm not too sure what it was.
And now I find myself in a contest with El Dragon de Valor on Collision. One of the members of the Internationals team that have seemed to take quite a step towards earning some respect. I haven't a problem with two men looking to get what they deserve from honor and respect. The world traveled team from Mexico, Japan, Europe and so many other countries want the Americans to respect them.
Good luck with it because it seems like every wrestler that's from another country is automatically evil because they hate this country. Stereotyping at it's finest. What is the problem though is that you assume that Spike and I represent this country because we live here. Do you not realize we're from Ireland? We were born in another country and if it weren't for all that stupid crap happening I probably would've grown up there.
As it was I was shipped here. A few years ago I became a citizen in both countries so yeah, not exactly repping America as you would think. Regardless if you hadn't noticed I pretty much love the Japanese style of wrestling and I've done a tour or two in Mexico so I'm familiar with the lucha libre style.
I'm not some bastard American wrestler who does the generic stuff. No, I'm the guy who the people look at as someone who does stuff that doesn't make sense with their size. Last I knew the fans in Japan love me. Mexico doesn't know me well. So I'm pretty sure that despite not wrestling there as much as you, El Dragon, I'm still pretty good in how you were trained to become a professional wrestler.
I'm a wrestler and I'm a fan. So any time I might've shown you disrespect I apologize but I'm just not who you think I am when it comes to this sport. I doubt myself at every turn but I'll be damned if someone is gonna label me as a generic American wrestler who doesn't respect the other styles of professional wrestling. One of my good friends is quite the style master. I'm sure the moment I ask he'll be happy to help me out becoming better in lucha for my match against you, El Dragon.
So best of luck to you despite your feelings towards myself for our singles match on Collision. This country might hate you but I don't. Look past a former incident and make this more of a pure exhibition then a matter of respect of not.
Peace."
