"So Saturday night kinda sucked. Got quite a few stitches but I did avoid getting a concussion. I lost but I feel like a winner anyways. I showed a fair bit of toughness and resolve when people have been doubting those two things about me. Been saying I've packed up things early when the going gets tough but I think I put those talks aside. A lesser man would've quit after ramming his head against the barricade but I kept going.
But congratulations, Venom, you finally got that monkey off of your back. You finally beat Brad Kane. You can brag it up, as you already have. Though I've taken a liking to calling myself 'The Boss' because I run this house. Might go on a fishing trip before this weekend too.
Anyways, this weekend, Total Eclipse gets to get back to what we want to do. Tagging in that ring and all that junk. I mean I know that Evan and I both lost this past weekend and we want to fix that. You see, we want to be the best and to have both of us lose on the same weekend, it makes us want to improve that much more. We want to train harder and all that hoopla.
Get to face my former brother in law and a guy who is tryin' to prove himself and get better. I can respect that. Hugo Conway. Skateboarder and professional wrestler, quite a combination. But I like this kid. I like his drive and how he wants to get better. I like how he keeps training his ass off, wanting to get to that point of being the best that he knows he can.
I've been where you are. Getting your ass handed to you by your trainer just for kicks. But then that time comes where they know you're ready to really get at it. You know you'll be ready for whatever this promotion or whatever promotion throws at you next. I was thrown into the fire, much like you were. I was completely green and I was put into something with a main level guy. I held my own and I beat him.
Hugo, experience doesn't matter so much sometimes. Its about instinct. Its about knowing where you should be without some asshole telling you. If you can feel it, you can beat anyone at anytime. I've had my fair share of upsets here and there. I think you can do the same thing your size be damned. You just need to find a place and a style that you can call your own.
Got a bright future in professional wrestling once you get settled. I don't have a doubt about it, really. Though I won't feel a tiny bit of remorse this Saturday when I kick your head into the second row. But that's just professional wrestling. You'll know it or you already know it. Just don't take it personally kid.
However, the guy you're teaming with, it is a bit personal. I mean I walked in on this dude banging my sister. Its an image that won't leave my head when I think of Joe Ragnal. I had to move out of that house because it was tainted with Ragnal's butt sweat on the hardwood floor. Yeah, right on the living room floor. Freya had a perfectly good bed in her room but nope, they sexed on the floor.
But I've had my problems with Joe inside of that ring. They were years ago and we're past them but still, the man and I had quite a rivalry. I haven't beaten him in a singles match quite yet in my career but I'm sure I'll get there at some point. Still, Joe is the father of my nephews so I can't treat him like complete crap.
The guy is the X Champion which is very impressive. Won't lie either, I was pretty happy to see him win the belt even though Evan was in that contest. It's a fantastic feat for a man who has had to go through so much crap in his career. I've seen him get screwed out of a World Title before. I've seen Joe Ragnal go through hell for no real reason other then jumping through someone's hoop with a false promise.
It made him bitter but he came back from it a better person and a better wrestler. Then he started diddling Freya and stopped until she dumped his ass to the curb. Kinda funny, actually, that Freya was supporting him while they were married. All you did, Joe, was sit on your ass and do nothing all day but eat chips and watch Power Rangers.
That's FUN though, right? Doing all those childish things. Glad to see your new woman made it back to you. We both know what we can do in the ring so I'll just leave it at that. On Saturday, Evan and myself take another step towards them tag team titles. I don't care who we have to go through to get them, we'll gladly do so.
Peace."
