"Today I was enjoying a nice day with my family at the zoo. The kids wanted to go see animals and get some ice cream because its a great summer day. Then, like every other thing I try to do, some jerkass wrestling fans recognize me and start talking about how much I suck. How soft I've gotten over the years among so many other little things that get under my skin. I know we're open to comments in this profession but when we're out being with the ones we love?
I just don't seem to understand what makes someone be like that I suppose I never will either. But this has gotten worse since Reborn. The moment I won that World Title it's like a giant target was put on my back and people thought it was open season to insult me and my family. Like I've said so many other times in my life, leave my family out of it for your own sake. Yet no one ever really does and then it's too late for anyone to take it back...
Just the everyday worries of the World Champion. I know, boo hoo for me. I got the world and yet I still find something to complain about. Suppose that's just who I am. I like to find things to complain about because, well, then I have something to work on. I have something to fix. Another project for ole Brad Kane to undertake and try to right. I could easily make a big issue out of anything. Take Philip Burns for example. If he used the bathroom before Megan and left the seat up, I could claim he was trying to kill her.
Far fetched I realize but I can make anyone believe just about anything. I have a gift for it and that's why you see me on your TV screens, computer screens and even your iPhone screens. This gift I have for professional wrestling is something that does make a few people happy. I know I have more haters then I do fans but the fact remains that my real fans are quite loyal. So when Picture Perfect rolls around on Sunday evening, I know that those fans will be out in full force.
Philip Burns, my first pay per view opponent. The man who has been told the same thing so many times he could probably dream about people saying it. See I'm not planning on taking that road, Phil. Doesn't matter who you use to tag with and how long you carried those belts. Why? Because it's as it sounds, it was a tag team title. You only had to shoulder some of the work load and your biggest singles accomplishment is a semi final finish in the Road to the Gold tournament, I believe.
So what makes you think that all of a sudden you're World Champion material? Was it my sudden rise to this title that made you think that any fool who wrestles can hold this belt? Was it simply your greed to get out of that shadow that Angel and Falcon have cast upon you for being the so called weak link? Personally I don't believe a tag team has a weak link but that's just me. The point is this though, Philip, that I just didn't win this title by some random happening.
If it hadn't of been for my departures in this place the truth is I would've held this title a long time ago. This title would've been mine probably a couple of years ago if I stuck with it more but I guess I'd rather run around and do other things instead of buckling down in a promotion that's always made me feel welcome despite my past transgressions against them. Burns, this match against me on Sunday night is nothing more then a pipe dream for you.
You have talent, you have skill but it just isn't enough to take this title away from me. You've been getting into my head the past couple of weeks and when you have no where to leave without losing on Sunday night, you'll be facing the most dangerous man in this business when focused. I am the World Champion for a reason, Philip, and you'll be finding that out soon enough. People will finally see that Brad Kane wasn't a fluke or a chance happening.
They'll all find out, along with you, that the moment I won this World Title that it was meant to be. Philip Burns, when Picture Perfect rolls around, do you know what the survey is gonna say?
You're dead.
Peace."
