Former multi-millionaire Travis Hendricks paces his mansion. Movers are taking everything out to pay for his debts. His toy making company that made him millions, Hendricks Toys, now taken over and being sold piecemeal as he paces. Every single asset he has had is being drained away, including his wife and children. It won’t be too much longer before they ask him politely to leave the mansion and go…anywhere else.
Hackers have done this to Travis. From giving competitors tips on when to buy him out of his company to draining his accounts and stealing his identity. They “gave his identity back” with millions of dollars of debt piled up. His wife and children assumed that Travis was having an affair and spending millions on her, but that wouldn’t be right either. Travis wouldn’t spend millions on such things, not when a smaller amount will make the problem “go away”.
Travis Hendricks continues to pace, not knowing how he will get his life back. It will take some time, but he can rebuild. He is a genius when it comes to making toys and selling them. He started out small and he can do so again. He catches a whiff of smoke as he walks. Not just any smoke, but a sickly sweet smoke. He looks around to yell at whatever mover is smoking as it is still his house for a few minutes longer.
He finds Esmeralda von Krauss walking into the room. She is in a magnificent gown that is cut short so that she can run and plunges daringly down the front, somehow keeping her breasts covered except for a lot of cleavage. She is smoking an Egyptian cigarette at the end of a foot long holder that is made of obsidian.
Travis Hendricks: Who are you? What are you doing smoking in my house?
Esmeralda smiles, slowly walking around the now standing Travis.
Esmeralda von Krauss: You, dahling, at the first of a whole new era. A whole new way to punish the wicked who cannot be reached by the court of law.
Travis slowly spins in a circle, keeping the enchantress in his sight.
Travis Hendricks: You did this to me? Why? I’m an upstanding businessman! I donate to charities left and right! Give me back my life!
Esmeralda laughs, flicking ashes onto the floor as she paces around Travis.
Esmeralda von Krauss: And that’s where the lies begin. You give to charities, dahling? Charitable companies that you own. The expenses of these companies are so high that they barely have any actual money to use for charitable purposes. It is a lie to evade taxes.
Travis snarls.
Travis Hendricks: Does it fucking matter if I lie or not? I made that money. It’s mine! Stop smoking in MY HOUSE!
Travis goes to knock the the cigarette from Esmeralda’s hand, but a palm strike to the shoulder combined with a leg sweep casually sends Travis to the floor.
Esmeralda von Krauss: Let’s get into your other activities. Shall we, dahling? You like little children. How many children have gone missing that you have done things to? How many have you paid for their silence? You couldn’t even be one of those who go after a teenager, you went after little boys and girls. They were practically babies!
Esmeralda gets louder and louder as she speaks, nearly screaming out the last line. She places a high heel on Travis’ chest with a look of disgust.
Esmeralda von Krauss: This is why we have drained your assets. This is why we have taken everything from you. Your wife and children are being shown the truth of your vulgarity before they are being paid with enough of your assets so that they will be taken care of for the rest of their lives.
Travis Hendricks: I’m SICK! I need help, not punishment! I can do rehab! I can change my ways! Please!
Esmeralda von Krauss: The last child was found a week ago. Her skull was found anyway with enough teeth left remaining to do a dental record search. She was only eight years old!
Esmeralda flicks ashes onto the fallen Travis.
Travis Hendricks: You think that money is everything? I can go bankrupt. I can rebuild. I’ll be bigger and stronger than ever! I’ll-
Travis tries to get up, but Esmeralda jams the sharp end of her heel deep into his chest. It is, after all, a six inch stiletto heel. She wrenches the heel out of his chest, blood and bubbles spurting from the wound. Travis gasps in pain, sitting up as Esmeralda backs away. Blood and bubbles flow from the wound, an obvious punctured lung as Travis struggles to breath. Esmeralda squats down, pulling an upholstery needle from her holster on her thigh.
Esmeralda von Krauss: You are like Olympia. No matter what stands against you, you still think you can win. I am not to be dismissed out of hand. I am a challenge that neither you or Olympia can surmount. You think that you can start from scratch? Can you come back from this?
With the flick of her wrist, Esmeralda sends the upholstery needle into Travis’ heart so deep that it exits his back and clatters onto the floor behind him. Blood streams from the hole; front and back. Travis pitifully puts his hands to his chest to try to stop the flow of blood, but it becomes apparent that he’s not going to make it. He lays back down on the floor.
Travis Hendricks: My wife and children will be cared for?
Esmeralda von Krauss: Yes. They will be scarred knowing the real you, but taken care of.
Travis Hendricks: Then I accept my punishment…
Esmeralda watches as the pedophile gives up his life and drops her cigarette butt onto him. She makes her way out of the mansion, drawing no glances from the movers that are all under her pay.
Esmeralda von Krauss: Olympia. You are next.
