Defeat but not Vanquished

(The Dark Stars are walking through the corridor slowly and ominously after Niko's match. He is still defiant and he's still holding his head high after his defeat at Lord Dominicus's hands. Blake Samuels almost collides with them and they have the same ominous look as they look at him.)

Blake Samuels:  "Niko what is your reaction to what Lord Dominicus said about you."

Niko:  "What was it he said about me."

Blake Samuels:  "He called you a nincompoop and blamed you for costing him the NPW Cruiserweight Championship amongst the comments.'

Niko:  "Like I said it was all business or does he forget that he was facing Jason Stephens for the cruiserweight championship.  Well he can call me all the names he wants but
he should have made sure it was Niko vs. Lord Dominicus instead of Jason Stephens vs. Lord Dominicus.  We would have settled everything sooner.  However, I keep my word
of honor and I shall move on as promised.  Now what Gus Arnold does is his choice if he wants to see this continue.  That's for him to decide and not us."

Blake Samuels:  "He said he brought unity after Alex Turner and Eric Dane failed miserably."

Niko:  "From the same champion who comes off sounding like that cartoon character....Who was it?....Oh yes.....Marvin the Martian who consistently wanted to conquer the Earth and every scheme he tried failed.  Kind of like Lord Dominicus's schemes every time he wants to rule the world.  The only real reason Eric Dane left was that he's a quitter and his army of incompetents couldn't handle pressure of being a gladiator in the NPW.  Well The Dark Stars and Dark Novas along with our ally Xiaolong are true gladiators and that so-called wrestler Kintaru quit because he couldn't take the fact that he was scared of Xiaolong or thought he didn't have to earn his right to title matches because of his name and reputation.  Too bad it doesn't work that way in the NPW  So if they can't do the work in NPW.  They don't belong here at all.  I do agree with Lord Dominicus that he had a great reign as champion so far and I respect him for that."

Blake Samuels:  "You know Alex Turner is one half of the current team Prime Time."

Niko:  "Did you mention that to Lord Dominicus.....You didn't, did you.  Well we will, because they do have something we want and that's the NPW Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships.  Sooner or later we will get a shot at those championships and when we do.  We will be two time NPW Imperial Tag Team Championships."

Blake Samuels:  "Kono's never been in any singles matches yet."

(Kono glares into the camera.)

Kono:  "You know there's something that's quite convenient and that's Eron Hunter aka Lynx who never had Lord Dominicus's back.  He had to fight both of us while Lynx stood on the stage and watched us soften him up and then he saves the day by storming the ring and being the hero.  What a courageous wrestler he is, but I really hope we meet in the ring and see how much of a true warrior he claims to be.  Let's see if he has the guts to wrestle me like a man.  I'm not calling him a coward or anything.  I know he comes to the ring ready for war and that's what I like and that's war."

Blake Samuels:  "Well that would be an interesting match up.  Who knows it could be signed at anytime and announced."

Kono:  "I hope so."

Blake Samuels:  "Well thank you for those comments and I wish you luck in the future."

Niko:  "At least you have a sense of humor because we always have luck in the future."

(The Dark Stars leave as the scene slowly fades to black.)
