Esmeralda von Krauss is walking through the hallways backstage. She’s showered and dressed to the nines as she makes her way out of the arena. She lights an Egyptian cigarette at the end of a jade foot long holder as she walks. She flashes a knowing smile at the camera, blowing smoke at it.
Esmeralda von Krauss: Olympia. It’s a shame that we didn’t get to finish our match, dahling. Would it have gone either way? No. Of course, no. You were the one protected and taken away from me. You were the one who was going to get murdered outside of the ring before the match. It would have been unfortunate and the Amazon’s division would have been losing a warm body, but at the very least it would not have affected the NPW bottom line. They should have let me kill you.
Esmeralda flicks ashes onto the floor before she walks out of the arena to where a limo is waiting to take her to her next destination, one of the more exclusive local nightclubs.
Esmeralda von Krauss: They should have let me crush you with my bare hands. Finish your career off and leave your husband a quivering wreck of snot and tears as he mourns your passing as a viable human being at the very least. My husband tells me that it’s not in polite company to speak of murdering a person in the middle of the ring, but I say that accidents can and do happen. If we meet in the ring again before I lay claim to the Amazon’s title. It will be the sunset of your career. Pick up a straw and get used to blowing through it to move your wheelchair if I choose to let you survive. That will become your primary method of getting around.
The limo driver opens the door and Esmeralda gets in, stopping only to flick her cigarette butt away. In a moment, the limo is moving. Esmeralda gets her smart phone out of her clutch and flits through her contacts. She selects one and calls.
Esmeralda von Krauss: Is the deed done? Did my husband fall for the… What did you call it? Rib? Once the fact that my husband has lain with a harlot gets out, he will not be able to fault me for my indiscretions. I will be free to pursue whom I wish.
Esmeralda hangs up the phone and smiles.
Esmeralda von Krauss: Steve Awesome, you spurned me. No one spurns me. No one.
