Opening on a shot of a black and grey brick wall, the camera slowly pans across revealing Mehrunes Smith sitting in a black leather chair with a book open in his lap. He picks it up and scans the page before reading.
With an echoing thud, Mehrunes shuts the book and puts it off to the side on the table next to him.
“The call has come through. The beginning has been set. The die has been cast. The path has been laid out before me. As it was told to me, the path will be laid and I must follow it. Next Level Wrestling has seen fit to slot me into this six man tag team match at Collision Course. I will team with two men, Timothy Gates and Nathan Cage. Two men that I must say I have zero trust in. Gates is secretive, no notable past to speak of and as for Nathan Cage? Well, he speaks for himself. Cage is a wildcard, a mad man, a loose cannon. These men, I have no loyalty to them, no trust in them, and I believe they have the same in me.”
“I’d wager much the same for my opponents. Felix, Sanderson and Sparks. Three total strangers as well. Three people with little loyalty or trust in one another. First up, you have Keahi Sparks, a woman that I can’t say I know much of which alone is a very dangerous aspect. Secondly, you have Chris Sanderson. A veteran. A former champion. A man in the unenviable position of the veteran on the team of new stars. A man I am sure is no stranger to chaos. But, how will you handle the chaos if your fresh faced teammates can not?”
Mehrunes sits up in his chair, shifting his position.
“Felix. The third of the opposing team. Felix, you feign to know me. Do not pretend to understand me or my position because you do not. But I’ll tell you this; when we are in the ring, you will find out firsthand what I am. I am The Terror. I am The Messenger. Many have come before me. Many have shared my title. But they have failed. This book is a reminder of that. For every failure, a page. My page will not be my downfall, but a list of my accomplishments and it all starts at Collision Course.”
Mehrunes leans forward, and places his hands together in front of him. The mask hides it, but a smirk makes its way across his face.
“The Terror is approaching and The End is nearer than you think.”

It approached me again last night. I was awoken, but still dreaming. Walking on the black water through the infinite darkness, along a path between walls that felt like they were closing in on top of me. As I walked, I felt a presence, a burning sensation on my skin. I felt as though I would combust at any moment and even as I tried to scream, I could not open my mouth. And once again, there it stood in front of me, in all It’s indescribable glory.
I have been to doctors, psychotherapists, psychics, members of the occult and tried to describe to them what I saw in my dreams and none of them could tell me what it was. Am I crazy? Have I gone insane? Every night it is the same. Same dark void, same path, same presence, same pain, same Thing. Worst yet, it talks to me. It tells me of what It’s seen. It tells me of what is to come. It speaks of an almost biblical end of days. When the stars are right, and the moon is full, The Dreamer will rise and End Times will be It’s Kingdom.
I have seen medicine men, sculptors and artists, writers, preachers, and all of them have told me nothing. Some screw their faces up like I am insane, the preachers offer to pray for me, others compliment my imagination. I swear this is not imagination, and I swear this is more than a dream. I believe this is real. I feel it. When I wake, my skin feels burnt, my feet feel wet and I can not escape the dream. Every night. I can’t take it anymore. I want to give up. The breeze coming through my window feels like an invitation to jump. Maybe death will be my salvation.
