MY Bad.
I'm an idiot.
Something I'm sure the masses out there are very happy to hear. Something you've been dying to hear come from my own lips, straight from the horses mouth as they say. I underestimated Simon Daye, not for the first time in my career, but I did it...
And me and my partner suffered because of it.
I'm sorry Kyle, I let it get to me and I wanted to prove a point. I wanted to show that just because you chant “USA!” it doesn't mean you are better than me, and I let my emotions get the better of me. I let Simon Daye get the better of me, and we lost to the tag team champions. Some people might take that as an insult, but hey.....they are the tag team champions!
The Forgotten never really got the run at the top that we planned on, we never really got that career defining moment, but maybe this is our second chance Kyle? Maybe this is our chance to raise our game and show that what happened at Collision was simply a mistake, and that we are capable of beating the tag team champions and becoming the new tag team champions.
What do you say Kyle, do we make this legit?
I'm game.

We open up on the sun soaked streets of Iowa, it's particularly over cast day with a light drizzle but the household of one Brad Kane seems to be alive with people talking, laughing, and generally having a good time. Even Brad himself is smiling as the camera shows him give the new woman on the scene Nina a kiss on the cheek just as the doorbell rings.
Brad: I'll get it, be right back...
Brad opens the door to the bright red hair of his soon to be sister-in-law and the smiling mirror image face of his brother Spike.
Spike: Hey bud!
Alysson hugs Brad before swanning through into the main room and hugging Nina before the two start talking rapidly. Brad and Spike both smirk and do their brotherly hand shake thing before Spike closes the door behind himself.
Spike: How's it going?
Brad: It's good man. Chris is having a blast, and Nina gets on so well with all the kids.
Spike: Happy for you bro.
They are about to head in when Spike spots Chris and his friends down the hallway peering through the second door and into the kitchen talking in hushed voices. Spike cocks his head and slowly makes his way down the corridor without them spotting him.
Kid #1: Man....check out her thong!
Kid #2: It's hot pink! That's so....hot!
Kid #3: Chris, your aunt and your Dad's new chick are so sexy....
Chris: It's because of the Kane gi-
Spike: -AHEM!
The kids turn to see Spike who actually took the time to peek through the door and see what they were staring out. Nina and Alysson leaning over the counter in the kitchen, admittedly it's a sight to drive every teenage boy wild, but Spike didn't approve.
Spike: You guys think it's a bit wrong to be perving on the ladies, especially in company of family! Get out of here you sick freaks!
Spike kicks one or two in the ass as they run out into the garden, but he pulls Chris back by the collar of his top.
Spike: What the hell dude?
Chris: What? You can't tell me off, I didn't do anything wrong! Besides....it's my birthday.
Spike: ...dude, perving on your family is wrong. Yeah, yeah...they're not blood or anything but it's the principle. You're friends are disrespectful douches man.....but yeah, it's your birthday....here...
Spike hands him a present which Chris rapidly opens, his eyes go wide as he picks them out.
Chris: Wow! Front row seats to Reborn! But....Dad said I couldn't go!
Spike: Leave that to me man. I know how much you want to watch us do our magic, and I'll bring you backstage to meet everyone too. Your Dad is a bit wrapped up in his blood feud, so let him have it. We'll make a day out of it, deal?
Chris: Sure thing uncle Mike. You're the best!
The two high five before Chris runs off to tell his friends. Spike comes through the door and the three other adults turn to see him.
Alysson: Hey there, where did you go? What was all that about?
Spike walks up and nods to Nina, who smiles as Brad puts his arm around her. Spike stands behind Alysson placing his arms around her waist and pulling her into him.
Spike: Oh nothing, just admiring that sexy ass thong you're wearing!
Nina and Brad laugh as Alysson gives Spike that kind of sexy “oh really” look before she turns and plants one on his lips as we fade away.

Team Africa, another pair of rookies thrown into the limelight all because of the Internationals cowardly shenanigans. I'm not complaining or anything though, I mean, hey I like to see the next crop of talent come up through the rankings and have the chance to prove themselves. You two had the international tag tournament to show yourselves, to show exactly what you are capable of, and what you specifically bring to the table.
Sadly, you failed.
I'm not rubbing salt in the wounds, but the mighty Ebony and Ivory of Africa did not get the job done. They did not make the tournament theirs as they had promised, and hey....you're probably not the first people to make a promise that they could not keep, that the criteria of keeping it is purely out of your hands. I mean hey, we are in America after all, right.
-Wink-
But hey guys, I feel your pain coming from a country that doesn't have the freedom and liberty that America has had for such a long time. Africa's problems are well documented, and have been over the years with all the band aid, and cure aids campaigns and all the rest of that stuff that comes on when your trying to eat your dinner and it makes you feel sick.
You know what I mean? You've just prepared an awesome looking steaks and chips, maybe even some stew and you sit down to eat when all you hear is “Sharee has to drink dirty water which she was to walk miles for....blah blah blah” and all of a sudden, you aren't hungry any more. Though sometimes oddly thirsty. Don't get me wrong, I have a conscience, I feel sorry for the poor people who have to suffer through horrible things like that, but I have to sit here and think...you wanted independence.
You got it.
Nobody screwed your country up, you did. My people have been fighting, literally fighting for independence throughout our history....and nothing. Our country was only invaded to prevent Spain from using it as a base of operations to attack Britain. Do people fear Ireland? No. Do people respect Ireland? No.....do people like Ireland? Of course, everybody likes the Irish, right? Everybody likes the loveable red haired, fair skinned, alcoholics....yet, we are not free. Our day will come though, a motto that has been passed down from generation to generation, from people who fought for their liberties, to those who were accused of terrorism, to those who are proud of their heritage...
Our day will come...
Tiocfaidh ár lá!
You two though, you've broken out. You've made it to the “promised land” here in America where this sport that we love so much is recognised, and is only bigger in two other places, that being Mexico and Japan. The only difference is, the money is much better here in America. Something I'm sure both of you have found out over your brief stint here in nCw. The pair of you have been living the high life and soaking up the praise of the fans, specifically the women. Enjoy it while it lasts boys, because in this business, you either make it....or you flounder in the mid card limbo for the rest of your career. Just ask the likes of Joe Everyman, Davey Ortega, or hey....even Philip Burns. You've had your first shot and it didn't work, I can relate....not personally, obviously my first shot resulted in me becoming World Champion and being inducted into the Hall of Fame....but as a tag team wrestler I have stumbled, faltered, and even failed. However I have also held those championships around my waist with the most unlikeliest of partners.....the ever ranting...Trent Helms.
Though this time, I've been embarrassed, I let my team down and cost us a match. So I have to make amends, I have a point to prove, and I want this to work. I want us to climb the ranks and get another shot at Gib and Simon, a tag team championship match. Which eventually brings me back to the Internationals cowardly actions....instead of facing the competition that is rife throughout nCw, they brought people in to face in stead. They brought rookies, they brought unknowns, people that the nCw fans would want to lose, people that the Internationals could try and build a championship legacy off of. And it failed, oh boy did it fail. This means however that we are left with teams floating around with nothing to do, over saturating the division that was almost barren before. Now you two are standing across the ring from The Forgotten, two members of nCw's Hall of Fame. Former champions galore, and two people that still have what it takes. Two people that still know what they need to do to get the job done.
Two people who will give everything they have.
Fight harder than any other.
And put on the best show possible.
Quite frankly boys, you are facing a team that is superior in every single way. A team that is going to dominate you on Sunday, and make up for the blip we had last week and show the world that we are not going away, we won't go quietly into the night. We will scream from the rafters, we are here....and we mean business.
On a personal level, as a representative of the country of Ireland.....I want to beat you, and I will make both of you hail!
I'm an idiot.
Something I'm sure the masses out there are very happy to hear. Something you've been dying to hear come from my own lips, straight from the horses mouth as they say. I underestimated Simon Daye, not for the first time in my career, but I did it...
