*We open up on Lord Dominicus sitting in the police chief’s office. As before, the Chief himself is behind the desk with the camera. Dominicus has the NPW North American Double Crown championship in his lap because of course he does.*
Chief: So, how did the ride-alongs go? Is it improving your ability to work with a partner?
LD: Yeah, I really think that having Teresa and I bust some actual crimes was a great way for me to prepare for my tag match with Lynx against Carner and Williams.
Chief: What?
*We jump cut back to Detective Beckett, LD, and the criminal they picked up eating pizza*
Criminal: So anyway, lemme give you the low down on this drug deal going down in a few days
LD: Aren’t you supposed to wait until you use that as a negotiating tactic to get off the hook?
Criminal: What? Look friend, you guys gave me a fair shot and were even nice after you caught me
Beckett: Don’t mind him, he’s American
Criminal: Ahhhhh, ok
*Back to the Chief’s office*
LD: You know, as police-
Chief: You’re not a real officer
LD: Yes yes, I know.
*He stands up*
LD: But as crime fighters, we fight for those who can’t fight. We FIGHT for those who have FALLEN victims to criminals. We hunt those criminals down and we show them why it’s wrong to be mindless thugs and to try to bring others down as a way of bringing themselves up.
Chief: I see you’ve been paying at-
LD: Likewise, on September 16th, Lynx and I will FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN of the ReVenants. The people they’ve victimized in the name of…honestly I don’t know what they even fight for.
*Jump cut as the police car rams through a warehouse garage door*
Drug Supplier 1: OH SNAP, IT’S THE POLICE!
*LD and Beckett tumble out as several other police cars make their way in through the hole their car made. There’s about 6-8 suspects who just got caught red-handed, they’re not happy.*
Beckett: Ok here folks, let’s not make this difficult! Everyone just get on the ground and we can talk this out at the station
*Back in the Chief’s office, LD is continuing to give his big “what I learned” speech that shows up in far too many movies. Except instead of talking about what he learned he’s talking about his upcoming match.*
LD: You know, the ReVenants think they’re something special, think they’re something new. But what are they? They’re a group of guys who attack people from behind and use their numbers advantage to beat them up. Well I hate to break it to them but that’s not a new modus operandi-
*He cups the side of his mouth*
LD: -Teresa taught me that one-
*Back to normal*
LD: No, before the ReVenants came the Syndicate, sneaking up and using their numbers advantage to beat people up. And just like at Honor: Fight for the Fallen, Eron Hunter and I took them down and made them look like fools. This title-
*He holds up and points to the NPW NADC Championship*
LD: -This is my reward for taking down one group of bullies and coming soon I’m gonna take down some more, with Lynx’s help.
*Jump back to the warehouse raid*
Beckett: I said get on the ground!
Drug Supplier 2: Or what?
*He said, while flashing a “piece” (gun) holstered in his pants, which is honestly the worst place to put a gun, you could totes shoot your dick off. This standoff isn’t going anywhere so Lord Dominicus butts in, because of course he would*
LD: GET ON THE GROUND NOW, CRIMINAL, OR I WILL SHOOT EVERYONE HERE!
Drug Supplier 2: Who the [censored] are you?
LD: I’M AN AMERICAN!
Drug Supplier 1: Oh [censored] no way I’m dealing with that!
*He, like the rest of the criminals- and all of the normal police, drop to the ground and throw their weapons towards LD and Beckett’s car. Beckett looks at her partner and his black squirt gun, both surprised and impressed*
*Back to the Chief’s office!*
LD: And what about John Cavanagh? Who ran that jerk out of NPW with his tail between his legs? Oh that’s right, me and Eron Hunter. Lynx may have gotten harder with his mask, but Detective Beckett is hard too. So working with her busting in baddies heads has been good preparation for our EVIL PARTNERSHIP to drive out dicks like Keith Williams and Neo James Carner
*He approaches the camera/Chief*
LD: And so, just like everyone here at the station, NPW can feel safe knowing that Lord Dominicus, the North American Double Crown Champion, and his sort-of henchman Lynx will continue to FIGHT for those who have FALLEN to bullies, jerks, and dickheads.
*He nods and sits back down.*
Chief: I…what? You know what, get out of my office and stay out of trouble
LD: Will do!
*He stands up and salutes*
LD: Suck it crime! …and also the ReVenants!
*The camera fades as he leaves*
