"It's been too long since I felt the thrill. The adulation of the fans chanting as I reigned upon them. Since I set foot between the ropes and did what I do best. That is, compete. If you do not know who I am, or do not remember me- I am Kameron Nova. Better known by many as being the Stormrider or the Burning Storm."
Kameron sits atop an oak chair atop the porch of his residence in Nassau, the Bahamas, which is where he has been ever since he left the wrestling industry in early 2018, citing the desire to settle down and make the most of the time that he has with his family. Attired in his white "Stormrider" shirt, black shorts and white tennis shoes, he smiles as he looks directly forward and into the lens of a camera he had set up, in order to ensure that the world is able to see him make this announcement. One that he had promised on social media would be something that wouldn't want to miss.
"I'd be lying to you if I said I didn't miss it all. If I said that I hadn't yearned to hear the sounds of the fans screaming my name. The sound of an opponent's body hitting the mat as I connected with the Stormbreaker and the cathartic sound of the referee's hand slapping the mat for the third time. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the swath of countryside that I would visit whenever I arrived at a new location, and the people who I got to share moments with along the way. I'll always remember them, especially those who were there when I attempted to scale the Eiffel Tower in Paris as a promotional stunt back in 2011."
Kameron can't help but laugh as he thinks back on that moment, even if he failed. It was something that he had always wanted to do and he gave it an attempt.
"Just as I will forever remember the moment that I walked down the ramp for the final time, having given thirteen years of my life to this industry. Having put my body and life on the line for this sport and made sure that when I was done, people remembered my name. My sacrifices all in the name of wrestling."
He takes a deep breath, as he ponders how best to say the next words and the purpose for this video feed, which is being broadcast on his own personal website as well as YouTube. He had prepared this speech in advance, but now that he is here and actually talking- it's as if he remembers what it was like when he was trash talking his opponents throughout the course of his career. The nerves that he would occasionally get back then.
"Yet there is still more for me to do. When I walked away, I did so because it was the best decision for me and my family, but I knew deep down that I still had something to offer this industry. Even if that did not include me stepping into the ring once more. That chapter of my career is said and done, and I accept that.
He sighs, knowing that it will disappoint people, but he understands that he has to face the facts of it all. That no matter how much he might wish to stand in the ring and compete with the best that the sport has to offer, his body simply won't allow him.
"It is why, over the course of the past six months, I have been in negotiations with Television Networks, potential shareholders and arenas, with the intention of starting up a wrestling company of my own. One born from a desire to get back into and give back to an industry that has given me so much over the years and hopefully cultivate the next generation of stars along the way."
Kameron reclines back, as he thinks back to the countless hours that he spent working on this project. Making sure that everything was in order. His "I's" dotted and his "T's" crossed so that this company can have the best start possible.
"Now, is the time to officially announce the Genesis of the International Khaos Wrestling Federation. A promotion that is intended to combine the traditions of wrestling, with a little hint of chaos so that people are on their toes at all times. Looking over their shoulder and waiting to see what happens next. Much as you have to be in this industry as a whole."
Pausing, Kameron motions behind him for a banner to be unfurled, revealing a basic "IkwF" logo in crimson red lettering and with a black slash yellow background. One not too dissimilar to the old Avalanche Wrestling Alliance where Kameron first made his name back in the Fall of 2006.
"I will be divulging more information about everything, including the date of our inaugural event and where you can buy tickets soon enough, so stay tuned. For now though, we are officially open for business and looking for those who wish to make a name for themselves, as well as those who may wish to continue building their name within this industry."
With a smile that any salesman would be proud of, Kameron closes the feed. Having informed the world of his next project and the vehicle he is using in order to return to the industry.
