The Thespian sits in a comfortable chair in a very lackadaisical pose… his back was against one arm of the chair as the other arm had his left leg draped over the edge of it. His right leg rests on the floor before him as his left arm hangs off the back of the chair itself. And his right hand? It holds his phone as we catch him at the tail end of Felix’s more recent promo.
Theo pantomimes a scoff into his phone for a moment before tossing it off to the side. If one had super-hearing, they might instead catch a raspy exhale with the scoff. Regardless, the wrestler looks back towards the lens of the camera. With the same impatient attitude, he takes his right index finger and begins to twirl it forward.
“Yes, I am recording now,” responds his interpreter, known well now by his job description and nothing more, to the sarcastic, one-handed sign. Theo gives the interpreter a thumbs up before raising his hand up to the camera more clearly. He continues to sign one-handed from there.
“Felix. You told Donzig in your last appearance for NLW that he made Two Mistakes. Well, I’m here to tell you that you’ve also made two rather unforgivable mistakes in your address to me.
One; a young blond? Betsy Granger was a terrifying final World Champion in AWF; boiling her down to JUST a “young blond” is both a slap in the face of her career, albeit cut short, but also my efforts to topple her. I took her to her limits. I will not be forgiving this misstep from someone who seems more disciplined than me. A gutter rat shouldn't have more manners than a master of the fight.
Two. I want you to actually go back to Ascension 20 for me. I never claimed to want to skip the line, I never BEGGED for the spot. I made my intentions known, and the management saw it fit to reward that charisma with a contendership match.
Maybe they just threw me in to be the jobber of your rising story. Or maybe… I think they gave me a perfect roadblock before getting a title match. Wouldn’t you agree, Felix?
When I first joined this company, I kept my eye on you. The man who struggled so desperately through the G1 Tournament… losing fight after fight. But, the light at the end of the tunnel? You took down one of the favorites in the match, MYOJIN. You gave the then-X*Crown Champion a loss on what could have been a perfect record! Good sir, I commend you for that!”
To prove his point, the arm that was once behind the couch reaches forward. The Thespian gives an honest set of claps for a moment to applaud Felix… but just as quickly, he resumes his lazy posture.
“I told you that you made two mistakes, Felix. I’m going to tack on one more. You’ve done two things with your message. You’ve annoyed… insulted me and my character… but you’ve also lit a pretty big fire in me. I do not think that is what you wanted, good sir.
You should not be encouraging your opponents. Especially if they’re in your way for a shot at gold. You can respect them all you want… but the moment you create the spark is the moment you seal your own fate!”
The Thespian kicks his upright leg forward and straightens his posture out. His signs get faster, but the Interpreter does not relent in the translation.
“You think I don’t know how to fight? You think all I know how to do is entertain!? MY COMBAT IS MY ENTERTAINMENT!!
I hope you understand, I’ve been craving a good fight. The moment I lost to Granger is the moment I realized that I cannot underestimate ANYONE in this company anymore. I was truly humbled then. I had my shot at a main event match last Ascension to fix MY mistakes. But, it was taken away from me. All I have now is bottled up aggression.
The Thespian's hands do not fall in his lap as he finishes signing. Instead… they begin to pull back on his knuckles… cracking them all one-by-one as the camera fades out.

And unfortunately? It’s all about to be directed at you. You want the fighter before the mask? You fucking got him.
Thank you, Felix. Thank you for your push. Because that’s the last, disastrous mistake that you’re going to make against me.”
