“Remember remember, these days of September...“
The scene opens up with Lynx, in front of the camera, wearing a black t-shirt with “Vendetta” written in red, on it.
“They say fear is for the Brave, for cowards never stare it in the eye.
Do I fear the Revenants? The answer is not exactly. Fear is a needed emotion. I have said this before, I´ll say this again; fear is needed for survival, but too much of it paralyzes instead. I have no fear, when It comes to the Revenants, I am only cautious. They have proved time and again that they know nothing else, but underhanded tactics, when it comes to a fight.
Fight for the fallen is indeed an insightful title for the upcoming wrestling night. Some of us have been taught, since we were children, that we must not only fight for ourselves, in this equation called life. We have been taught to fight for those who fell so that we could live a peaceful life.
The difference between me and, say, the Revenants is that I fight for the fallen; they merely walk above the fallen to achieve what they want. People like the Revenants are nothing more than hyenas walking and feeding on carcasses. They are the disease for which was thought there is no cure…
…But the cure is there, and it´s called Lynx!
I promise I will not rest a single moment, until I have fulfilled my mission, my mission being to clear these halls from the disease called the Revenants. Problem is that the pack of hyenas is just that, a pack and they act as such. Taken separately they are not much worth, but as a pack, they have managed to spread sickness wherever they go.
That is why I will team up with Lord Dominicus, in the upcoming fight night, to show these hyenas that these halls are not their kingdom, no, these halls will be their grave; the grave of their ambitions and their poison. I will set my lonely travel towards wrestling perfection by side so that I can beat and defeat the Revenants.
Well, not entirely, to be honest. To be honest with everyone and me I must say I consider this Revenant story, a brick in the wall of my own story. A brick in the unshakable wall of my experience, an experience that will help me achieve wrestling greatness. Something I have been craving for since I was a snot-nosed punk. Be the best fighter ever.
I have fought my fights since I was nothing more than a fart in the streets. I will continue to fight my fights until I can stand no more. I will not give up until I hear the bell and god knows, and he doesn´t exist, that it will take me much more than a scratch or two to hear the goddamn final gong. The Revenants will not be the final chapter of my long-lived story towards Wrestling Stardom, no. The Revenants are not the end of my story. They will not write my story, I am the author of my life and only I can tell the tale of my successes and failures.
I learned from my father that I must never give up, no matter what. I learned from him that I must respect those who fought for an ideal, the people who fought for Honor and Dignity, and I have learned from him that even Mother Nature itself punishes those that defy Honor and Dignity. Those are the values that distinguish a Righteous Knight, from a Vicious Beast.
That´s what the Revenants are, a vicious beast feasting on fear and insecurities. That´s what they crave, instill fear and insecurities in the hearts of their opponents. But I ask you, what happens if they cannot manage to instill these emotions in another human being? Then they scatter in the four winds, followed only by their ego.
I am sure of what I believe in, and what I believe in is that a fighter need not be paralyzed by fear if he is fighting for a righteous cause, because he is not alone if he does so. He will always be followed by the hearts of those believing in him and his ways.
The Revenant's ways are those of a malicious being, a unity which feeds only on weak and wounded, and thus they try to weaken and wound everyone. That´s what Keith Williams did with me, hanging me there in the middle of the squared circle as if I was a sheep brought to slaughter. But Keith Williams miscalculated his action´s effects. What he did was not instill panic in me.
What he did was reawaken the hunter!
And this hunter will do what he does best…
..That being, hunt his prey until it catches it!
And since the Revenants rely on their numbers to bring down isolated beasts, I will make sure that I am not alone and not isolated.
Revenants!
Your days of vile and poisonous acting will soon be over.
That´s not a useless threat, no, call it a righteous promise instead “
Lynx is standing in silence for some more moments, in front of the camera, before turning his back on it as the scene fades to black.
