As mentioned earlier, we have 32 wrestlers on our roster. It's about time we introduce a new title, but we don't know what to call it, and in the spirit of FIRESIDE collaboration, we're opening it to you! Make as many suggestions as you'd like -- Fizz/Spike/I will sort through and take our favorites, set 'em in a poll, and the winner will have officially named the title!
What's special about the new title?
1) It's a Singles Title Fought For in Multi-Wrestler Matches
The aim of the title is to make sure everyone gets a shot (any future incentives will normally start at that level), and to push people up the card. With thirty wrestlers around, the idea is that there's always competition..
2) It's Voted On By The Fans (aka You)
As the RP period comes to a close, a voting thread with a poll will go up. Vote for whoever you think won the match. Most of this title concept is Fizz's baby and one of the things we've gone back and forth a lot on is how wild it is that all of you put your faith in us to judge who's the cream of the crop week after week. We want to collaborate and put some of this power in your hands. Similar to how CAR hands out its fan favorite recognition, everyone in FIRESIDE/the XHF gets a vote. Now if you're worried that some XHF favorite is going to win the belt and become some kind of campaigning jackass to hold onto it forever, well...
3) SPARK's Win Three Rule Continues for This Title as Beat Five
So when we started the SPARK title, we actually meant that for beginners. It quickly became our Intercontinental Championship. I'm not going to be foolish enough to say that this title is also for beginners because I can't anticipate that far in the future. However, if you can defend the title against five other wrestlers total, the title will be stripped from you in exchange for an automatic SPARK title shot. So the progression becomes This New Title --> SPARK Championship --> World Championship/X-Crown.
Deadline for suggestions is when the show goes up for Trial by Fire -- EOD Week #4 (10/24).
