(The interview studio of UP Wrestling is set up to tape promos for the upcoming Hostile Fury as Mia Garcia and her cameraman are going over the day’s schedule. Suddenly, there’s a commotion from outside, and Garcia motions to the cameraman.)
GARCIA: I don’t know what that is, but are you rolling?
CAMERAMAN: Yeah…
(Suddenly, the door to the studio opens up and we see the figure of Cage step into the frame. He’s not dressed in his ring attire, but instead a pair of black jeans and a dark red t-shirt, and a furious look.)
GARCIA: Cage…?
CAGE: (into the camera) You on? (the camera nods) Fine. Let’s make this short and sweet. I get it, TCE, it’s another game. Another sacrifice on your road to get me. Ron and Donnie are still down, but recovering. And you think this sends a message? You better believe it. Fifteen plus years and you still haven’t changed.
GARCIA: Ron and Donnie? How are they?
CAGE: Still in the hospital. Still healing. Still hurting. And now, it’s your turn TCE. So let’s make it simple, and I hope Wu is listening. We’re going to Japan, we’re fighting at Hostile Fury, then let’s live up to the name. Wrap the ring in barbed wire. Give us light tubes, and chairs, and beds of nails. Time the ring to explode. I don’t care, but it’s not a wrestling match. Let’s make it exactly what it needs to be TCE, a Japanese Death Match. Whatever needs to make it happen, do it.
(Cage turns on his heel and walks out of the studio, Garcia looking at him and the cameraman and her begin following him into the parking lot. Cage is heading to his car, and Mia rushes up to catch him.)
GARCIA: Do you think challenging TCE to that is smart? Cage? Cage? He’s already done so much damage…
CAGE: (spinning around) Listen, it’s up to Wu and TCE if they want to see it, because I’ve already made peace with my decision.
GARCIA: A Death Match?
CAGE: Yeah, because that’s the only way this ends, isn’t it? The only way you beat me now is you’re gonna have to kill me.
(Cage gets into the car and pulls away, leaving Garcia and the cameraman behind.)
