Saw that in a sale not so long ago and heard very good things but couldn't go through with it. Let me know if this is a little cryptic but one of the games I'm playing has put me in the mood to settle down and give this a read.

Been playing Sonic Mania, boy that game is something else. Decided to binge on all the good Somic's after I'd fnished that too, Sonic 1,2 and 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Adventure and Sonic Generations.

Well i haven't played anything in a few months but last thing I did was Resident Evil Revelations 2, and before that was Resident Evil 7.
Currently going over Necroscope86's old Resident Evil LP videos on YouTube.
I need help, don't I?

The only Resident Evil I felt consistently comfortable playing was 5 and that's because it's a co-op game.
I'm super excited to play the new South Park game - Fractured but Whole.

Oh man you're missing out, 5 is easily the worst game. Maybe 6 but personally I think it's slightly better than 5. They had a cool multiplayer mode (back when I had XBox Live) where you could play as zombies in other peoples' main campaigns

(Stein's Gate was what I saw on sale) Been playing Sonic Mania, boy that game is something else. Decided to binge on all the good Somic's after I'd fnished that too, Sonic 1,2 and 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Adventure and Sonic Generations. Coincidentally I just finished Sonic Generations this week. I gotta say that Sonic Adventure is a bit of an odd one out in that list. Not a good game, but probably the game that best translated the feel of controlling 2D Sonic into three dimensions. Also happened to finish Resi 5 last month, and despite crappy bosses and AI micromanagement was pleasantly surprised. It has given me encouragement to brave 6 one day. Steele, as someone who's Action Resi over Resi Resi any day of the week, should I be interested in the upcoming Revelations Comp for Switch considering it adds motion aiming?

Are they putting both out for Switch are they? Sounds good! I remember not getting into Rev 1 at first but it was also when I was hyper stressed out in my old job so I think that really rubbed off on my enjoyment of the game. I wish I could re-download it and play again. Rev 2 was really good actually, much better than I was expecting. A bit corny plot wise sometimes but then it wouldn't be Resident Evil without that! I found it to have a good action/horror balance - it wasn't full-on action like 5 but far more than Zero, 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica or 7. Pretty close to 4 if you've played that. Honestly... don't remember too much about 6 other than I did enjoy it, I think it felt like it dragged on for a bit though. I've very much a "Resi Resi" person so I've played the shit out of the first 5 games lol (and RE4 as well, I think it's one of the best)

Yeah I had Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast and used to play it to death alongside Crazy Taxi and Soul Caliber so there may be a little nostalgia bias there. I still love the game to this day though 😛

If it's any consolation Soul Calibur and Crazy Taxi are straight up greats.
RE4 is the top tits so that's encouraging but I thought that was safely in the action bracket. Also encouraging about the plot because the lack of corn in RE5 until the end was a big let down.

I agree that RE5 had the weak story but the co-op system was so great that it didn't even bother me so much.
RE4 is super good too.

RE4 is the best one i've played. 3's controls suck major ass juice.

I'm super excited to play the new South Park game - Fractured but Whole. You and me both. The first one was amazing. I'm also tempted to get Destiny 2, the first one was so good but addictive as hell

The Stick of Truth is the best turn-based rpg of all time. There I said it. And I'm one of those knobs that fawn over the Mother series.
