All Read: Huge Event to Start 2022!

2022 starts off with a HUGE all fed event! It is called Ante UP and is a great way yo take notice of everyone in UP Wrestling while gambling your way to a pretty great prize. Please read over the information below and let me know if you have any questions.

Ante UP: An all fed event featuring you betting on the UP Wrestling roster. Who will you push your chips in for? This event will run from the January 14th Friday Night Free-For-All show and end by the second special event of 2022.

Betting: Submit your bets through RP, message to Matt on the XHF Network, email to [e-mail], or through Facebook Messenger to Matt.

Winner: They receive a title show for any championship. They can pick a partner and go for the Tag Team Championships or use their reward to go against the Sin City, Boyd Gaming High Roller, or World Openweight Champion.

Rules:
- Each handler will get $500 to start.
- This $500 is not for wrestlers. If you have 2 or more characters in UP Wrestling, you still get $500 total.
- You must bet on a single wrestler each show. Even if they are in a tag team or other grouped match, you can only pick one wrestler. For example, you can bet on Jack Ruby, but not Team Sp!ke.
- Once you bet on someone, you can not bet on them again the entire event.
- You may bet on your character(s).
- If they win, you win. If they lose, you lose. If there is a draw, then you get your money back.
- You can bet from $1 to up to half your current amount. For example, if you have $500 your max bet can be $250.
- If you do not bet and are not excused prior to the card, you will lose half your money.
- Each handler must have at least $1 remaining throughout the event.
- Anyone joining the roster after the January 14th event will receive a prorated amount to bet with.

Solid Gold Poker Chip: Maddox/Candy's handler owns this. That chip allows him to take a huge gamble. He can bet as much as he pleases with leaving $1 remaining should he lose. He can bet on anyone even if he has already done so once. He can even split the bet out amongst multiple wrestlers when he turns it in. For example, if he has $500, then he could bet $50 on Pixilious, $100 on Isabella, $150 on Ron, and $199 on David. Once its used though, it's gone and out of play for the remainder of the event.

I received a few questions, so I will walk through a long example below. Hopefully, this helps; however, please reach out if you have any questions/concerns. Click here to see the tracking spreadsheet. 

In this example, I will use myself (Matt). I have the characters Bubba and Tater.
- First, I only receive a total of $500 to start. This is because the starting funds is by handler (Matt) and not by wrestler (Bubba & Tater).
- The first bet I can make is on the January 14th card. 
- Bets are due by the RP Modifier/Requests deadline.
- I can bet from $1 to $250 on any wrestler. I do not bet on teams. 
- I decide to bet $100 on Jack Ruby to win. He is a part of the main event with Pixilious as Team Sp!ke. As you can see, I am not betting on the the team, I am betting on Jack Ruby. That doesn't mean he has to make the pinfall or submission. He just has to be declared as one of the winners of the match. This also allows me to bet on Pixilious at a future card.
- In this example, Team Sp!ke loses to Rated M via DQ as Pixi hit Adam Miller with a chair. Jack lost, so I lost my $100 bet. Now I have $400.

- The next card comes out and has a match featuring Pixilious versus Jack Ruby. 
- I can not bet on Jack again as I've already done so. You can only bet on a wrestler once (unless you're Maddox/Candy who has the Solid Gold Poker Chip). 
- I bet on Pixi to win. My range this time is $1 - $200. The range is different because the most you can bet is half your money (again unless you use the Solid Gold Poker Chip). I decide to bet $200 on Pixi.
- She loses via count out. I lost my bet again and am now at $200 remaining.

- The next card comes out and I can not bet on either Ruby or Pixi.
- I decide to bet on a match featuring Bubba and Tater versus Wicked.
- I pick Bubba as my individual wrestler to place my wager on. Yes, you can bet on your characters.
- I can bet between $1 - $100. I go with a bet of $100 on Bubba.
- Wicked wins. I am now down to $100 remaining.

- The next card comes out. I forget to bet via RP, FB Messenger, XHF Network Message, or email to [e-mail].
- Since I did not bet, I get 50% of my money taken away. I now have $50 remaining.

- Now, we are on 5th card since the Ante UP event started. I can now bet $1 - $25.
- There is an eight person tag match with the Black Hand facing Ragsdale's group.
- I pick Kid Diaz to win. As long as the Black Hand is declared victorious, I will win. My bet is $1 (sorry Kid, just for example purpose).
- The Black Hand wins via pin. Adam Miller pinned Eric Ragsdale in this example. 
- I now have $51.
- Throughout the rest of the event, I can not bet on Jack Ruby, Pixilious, Bubba, or Kid Diaz.

- Let's pretend more events went on and I was down to $3 remaining.
- The most I can bet is $2 as I always have to have at least $1 remaining.

- If anyone does manage to get to $1, they will get a *free* bet of $1. This will allow you to continue to play until the event is over.
