So this has been a debate for a bit here. Let's say we're having a show and Wrestler A and Wrestler B are having a conversation. Wrestler A uses a pic in their RPs. Wrestler B doesn't.
I think we should find an answer and stick to it because in my opinion, T-Bone brought up a good point where the inconsistencies are causing an issue and I'd like people to chime in.
Do you like pictures?
Why? Or why not?
Should Ish apologize to shop owners for being a jerk?
Why? (No why not. He absolutely should.)

Personally i don't like pictures, well when you use them as speach and stuff. I think it's better using description, but than again that's what i got "taught" well advised anyway. And that's what i'm used to. Do you though and don't change for one person though.

I didn't like the pictures at first but they grew on me mainly because of the BANG roleplays and Copycats stupid fucking face. I think they help to break up the text a little bit and if you're inattentive as I am they make it super easy to keep track of who is talking.
I don't really like them for matches though, they seem to break up the flow way too much (but they worked OK on Prestige 3's little interference skits after the matches)
I agree that they need to be consistent at least within the same segment/RP Either use them for everyone or don't use them at all.
Also, size matters. Kuroi suggests 150x150px and I think that works pretty well.

I don't like them, but I don't care if that's what people want to do.
But...
Everyone HAS to have them. And they need to be much smaller. 120x100

My design sense is tingling for this one so I'm going to try and suppress that side of me.
I don't mind them but I'm with the majority of folk who believe it's better in moderation and in the case of results, consistent throughout. I like having segments to read where you can just flow through it - I like to think that's apparent in anything I've written - but that really is personal preference and it just looks.. neater.
I'm going to call out mistersteve and Kuroi, they both love images for the AWF authority/B.A.N.G when they chat and it really doesn't settle with me, for varying little reasons and it annoys me to read haha. Saying that, everyone sees differently!

I'm used to pics. I think they help to keep track of rapid exchanges and had to change my formatting to adjust for their absence but they should be consistent if used. If we're setting a size then maybe smaller than 150x150 because of how drastically it changes the layout - sometimes I feel like someone is at a disadvantage without them because the same amount of text looks a lot less expansive visually (I know this shouldn't matter but opinions have been swayed by less). I never thought about their use in matches before and I agree they aren't a good fit. Again, this is a consistency issue because commentators do not use them. Should Ish apologize to shop owners for being a jerk? I'm like a wildlife film maker - I'm here to document what I see. It would be wrong to interfere.

That's a really good point. I've often felt like my roleplays look really thin compared to others, but I go for a lot of short sentences interspersed with narration like head scratches, expression changes, that sort of thing, while others to the 'two or three huge paragraphs' route. While there may be a roughly equal amount of text the big paragraphs always end up looking more substantial, and that goes double when there are pictures in between further breaking them up. That said, pictures make the RP looks bigger when you first check the scrollbar to see how much you gotta read My next Steele RP won't use pictures so I'll be interested to see what people think.

I'm pro pictures but I feel we should set up a uniform system like back in the day so people can all have the same pics should they choose to use them

well, I might put in one or two pics in my future rps, depends on what I am trying to convey to everyone and I feel that I can not explain it better in words. but I will try to keep them small.
