THE BACKSTORY
Keen to get value from their contract with Cross Recoba, the XHF have part-funded a new company. Supplementing ticket sales and Network revenue with advertising from other Network companies to produce revenue. Tap Out Wrestling looks to provide a place where fans can see the biggest stars in one of the glitziest venues (not to mention load up The Sands coffers by gambling). Hosting shows once a month, they aim to focus on quality over quantity.
THE EXCLUSIVITY
With show tickets being targeted to the Casino's high-rollers, they want their action to be top-quality and worth the steep price of admission. They want matches they can bet on the outcome and make prop bets as the night progresses. A cap of 16 on the roster ensures that only quality matches take place under the Tap Out Wrestling Banner.
THE ENTERTAINMENT
This is Vegas, a land built on glitz and glamour (to distract you from the amount of money you can haemorrhage within its walls!). Each show will be comprised of no more than five matches that will be split with a half-time show ranging from music to magic to burlesque and everything in-between. With the entertainment varied, it keeps the crowd hot.
THE TITLE
An exclusive roster means that Tap Out Wrestling will only ever have one title with their name attached to it. The TOW Openweight Title is, as it name suggests, open to all sizes and weights. Much like the UFC Openweight Title, this belt will be defended on the majority of shows held under the TOW banner. With win-loss records forming the basis for rankings, the Openweight Title will truly represent the cream of the crop within the company.
RANKINGS
Based on win-loss records, Tap Out Wrestling will promote competition and being the best above anything else. Cross Recoba and the team behind TOW set the edict that no-one deserves to walk into the company and be given a title shot without earning it first.
