Sinclair Godfrey reclines in the carved wooden throne that seemingly respresents the dominion of Donzig-gun, legs kicked over the arm as she stares down at the tablet propped against her thigh. She sips at her tea, a brow arching as the drone of voices can be heard. And she snorts, before shaking her head as she looks to the camera. The tea cup sat aside, and she licks her lips.
'Esmeralda Von Kraus.' A shrug. 'You think I have forgotten what happened the last time we met? You think that I have let that go? You humiliated me before Donzig, you brought shame to Donzig-gun! And I know you are not a stupid woman, I know you are not a fool! So you have to know that I am out for revenge, you have to know that the Scourge has not forgotten you defeated him.'
Sinclair kicked her feet over the arm of the chair, turning slowly as she tossed the tablet onto the table. She leaned forward, fingers lifting to brush back her hair before she continued.
'Do you know how much favor I will gain by avenging that loss, Esmeralda? Do you even understand that? No, because you are too busy doing--'
Sinclair frowned at the tablet, and she leaned back as her hands settled on the carved arms of the chair. A shrug, and she shook her head.
'--your life is like a daytime drama. What is it Americans call them? Soap operas? Is that it?'
A hand waved.
'Lost children? Trollops? Affairs? Empty night! None of that is going to help you when we meet up in Mexico, none of that is going to help you when you climb into that ring against me! I am undefeated since my debut, Esmeralda! Undfeated! Do you realize that? No one has pinned Sinclair Godfrey! No one has submitted Sinclair Godfrey! I am the Chosen of the Scourge! The First of the Children of the Fall, and you? You're just whatever you are.'
Sinclair rose to her feet, and she started to pace with a shake of her head.
'You see Esmeralda? I don't care if you want to breed with Steve Awesome, or Enigma, or that insipid little bear. Whatever floats your boat, and I don't care how many little byblows you and Armand have! Because the facts are? Whatever respect and esteem that Donzig has for the pair of you? Especially you? I don't get it, I don't undestand it, and I don't share it! So I want you to know that despite the fact when you fought him? It was a match between peers, or equals? No, when we meet in Mexico? It is going to be a war, Esmeralda.'
Sinclair sneered, a hand lifting to curl into a fist as she stared. Her eyes flashing fury as she started to pace again.
'You see as much as all of this galls me, as much as it is all an irritation? What annoys me more? Is being compared to you! And so when we have our match, if you can tear yourself away from your starring role in 'Days of Our Von Krauss', or is it 'the Old and the Von Krauss?', or 'Von Krauss Street'? Whatever.' Sincalir paused, snapping her fingers as she flashed a wicked smile. Then she continued, gesturing as she continued with a pace. 'Maybe that is why Donzig likes you! You see Donzig does like his 'shows'--' A finger quotes in the air, and Sinclair grunted. '--the one hour of day that General Hospital is on? He seems almost calm.'
Sinclair thought for a minute, and then she shook her head.
'Either way, Esmeralda? You and I? I am going to have you all to myself, with no rules, and I am going to take every little condescending remark, every single little backhanded comment, every insult! Everytime someone compared me to you? I am going to make you pay for it, I am going to take it out of your carcass! I am going to take my pound of flesh from your hide, Von Krauss! I am the Lady Sinclair Godfrey, 9th Baroness Godfrey! And I have beaten every woman this network has seen fit to place before me!'
Sinclair settled back in the chair, and she frowned as her hand lifted to absently adjust her hair. And she leaned back, drumming her fingers against the arm of the chair as she scowled.
'Of course, everyone I have defeated? Well, they left shortly there after. Because they realized that they are no match for me, they have no business facing down the wrath of the Baroness. But I suspect I won't be so lucky with you will I? No, no, no.'
A smirk, and Sinclair leaned closer.
'But don't worry, Armand will still have Sunshine. And maybe I will leave enough of you for the Bear to enjoy. Unlike some other members of Donzig-gun? I am not cruel, Esmeralda. I just don't like you, and so I hope you're ready for a war. Because I plan on giving you one, and then you can go back to--'
A shrug, waving a hand absently.
'--whatever it is you are doing.'
'Esmeralda Von Kraus.' A shrug. 'You think I have forgotten what happened the last time we met? You think that I have let that go? You humiliated me before Donzig, you brought shame to Donzig-gun!
