There's a crisp in the cool night air. It's a bit warm considering how it's been the past weeks or so. We see rows of chairs and multiple tables spread out on the J-ROK HQ roof top. There's a stage and a screen there as well. We see Kira Izumi up on the stage, getting ready to greet us. Kira Izumi: "(Tonight is a special night. One where we reflect the events of the past year and one where we'll look off into the future as well. I'd like ta start tonight off by saying thank you ta everyone who's worked hard keeping J-ROK afloat over this past year. So thank you all for everything you've done. Without further ado lets kick this show off with the first award!)"Kira grabs an envelope. Kira Izumi: "(The first award is for Most Improved of 2021. In third place we have...)"Big Bad Wolf Kira Izumi: "(In second place we have... Off The Wagon! )"
Kira Izumi: "(And the winner of this years most improved award is... Hayley Grimes! congratulations! this was a much deserved award for someone who's really grown over the past year. Unfortunatly she's still MIA, so we'll give this to SKY Force later on and move right on with the second award.)"He hands the award off to an assistant. We move onto the next award now, as he's handed another envelope. Kira Izumi: "(We've had many great matches in J-ROK over the past year. Whether it was within the IJWF Alliance shows, XHF global shows or even on our ppvs and Jam Session events. This year we really out did ourselves and i still say some of our matches were snubbed in the XHF Awards show! Well anyways... on with the results for J-ROK Match of The Year!)"We have a six way tie.
Dylan Black Vs. Hayley Grimes at Raison D'etre 2 Night 1.
Fukushima Zombie Vs. STRiFE at Raison D'Etre 2 Night 2.
New Age Killers Vs. SKY Force at J-ROK 4th Anniversary Show.
Off The Wagon Vs. SKY Force at Midnight Pretender.
Off The Wagon Vs. SKY Force at Sakura Tag League 2021 Finals.
SERO Vs. Hayley Grimes at Magical Mystery Tournament Finals. Dylan Black Vs. STRiFE at 4th Anniversary Show. In first place we have a two way tie.
Dylan Black Vs. Darlene Price In a New Japan Death Match at From Dusk Till Dawn.
Man that was a violent match!
And the second winner is Nausicaa Suzuki Vs. Natsu Toyama for the IJWF Championship at Cinderella Story XV.
That was one hell of a match and Nausicaa made us proud bringing home the world title.
Now if anyone from these matches would like to step up and accept their award, please do so now. |

Dylan Black walks up to the podium, smirking as he grabs the award and leaning against the podium.
Dylan: Look at that. LOOK. AT. THAT. Every single Match of the Year spot has a Dylan Black match.
He smirks.
Dylan: Just goes to show. Everywhere I go. Bitches always know. Dylan Black has the best matches that he loves to show. Doesn't matter that I win or lose because I go out there, I put on the best matches, and just all around I am the BEST that J-ROK has to offer!
He gets off the podium and holds up the award.
Dylan: Oh! Dar says thanks for the new kindling.
And exit stage left.

Kira steps back on stage to present the next award. Kira Izumi: "(Our next award is dedicated to those who the fans think are underappreciated. Those who put on great work, but aren't at their full potential just yet. *After an embarrassingly long delay, Randy Angel and Kris Quake are pushed out onstage. Instead of their Super Sake costumes, they're sporting much more elegant sashes emblazoned with their sponsor's name. They put their arms on each-other's shoulders and stumble to the microphone. Quake opts to drink while Randy approaches the mic.*
Randy: HEY THERE YOU ALL ARE! Quake and I were wondering why only the staff were at the party backstage. Anyway, we wanted to thank you for this honor of finally acknowledging all of our hard work. I'd like to thank uh...

Randy: Yes! GUNS, for giving us the opportunities we needed to become their tag team champions! Also uh...

Randy: Oh yeah, SKY Force and your subdivision, AMERICAN PUSSY have pushed us through rage and spite to become the conquerors you see today. Oh and whoever else we beat this year.
*They are so intoxicated they can barely stand*
Randy: Quake, do you have anything to say?
*Kris "Triple Quake" Quake pushes Randy off to the side.*
Quake: I AM THE MENTAL HITMAN! I AM THE MONOPOLY! UUUUURRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG!
*He grimices, turning red, as though he were trying to take a dump. Then he pours some chewable vitamins into his mouth and spits them at the crowd.*
Randy: AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT, WE GOT TWO WORDS FOR YOU!
Quake and Randy: SUPER SAKE!
*Satisfied with this showing, the two then walk back to the party backstage.*

Thanks Japan for recognizing Sky Force as the stable of the year. This award will mean a lot to my subordinates. Many people work very hard to make a truly great stable, but gun to my head... I don't know any of their names, so will focus instead on my leadership skills which were entirely responsible for this awar- WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?

Florida Man:
Biggest shock? What shock? That J-RoK managed to sign the hottest free agent in the sun kissed continent? No! Apparently it... blew your minds that I beat Fox? Me winning a belt is not a shock, it's a monday! A more backhanded compliment I have not received. Florida Man wins a match and it breaks the internet? Apparently it just broke Kira's internet. I bring the nine month run of the XHF's champ of the year to a close with my superior skills, and everyone wants to hate on and bury me like I'm Roger Maris. Well Fox was no Babe Ruth, and if you want to continue with baseball analogies I'm more of a Ty Cobb - frequently loaded and ready to fuck up any cripples in the audience. Which is to say, you decided to "honour" Sobek on a bad day-
Backhanded Compliment trophy in hand, Florida Man dives off the stage and starts attacking the audience. Accountants mostly, the kind that consider physical abuse from stars to welcome, and makes them feel part of the team. This might explain why security are taking their time to calm the Floridian down...... or maybe they just fear his Sky Force power.

We look in the back and Randy is slumped over the on the bar. He appears to be talking to the bar stool next to him that is empty. Kris Quake is asleep with his eyes open on a chair further away. Quake is nudged and told he won. He abruptly gets up and stumbles his way towards Randy and tries to get his attention, but Randy waves him off as he’s deep in conversation. Quake shrugs and heads out to the stage and up to the podium.
Quake: Wow, it’s an honor to win…er…share this award. I’m not sure there’s anyone else to thank for Off the Wagon, except Super Sake. Since we won that sponsorship with them our career has taken off. We owe the resurgence of our career Super Sake and their motto: Drink a lot…responsibly. We’ve followed that to a T, mostly, and that’s why we’re here today winning awards. So thank you Super Sake, and I guess everyone who voted for us.
Quake holds up the award and then stumbles off stage.

Momoko Honda walks onto the stage. All smiles on her face for this huge honor. As she takes the award in her hands, Momoko speaks into the microphone.
Momoko: Honored I am to be presented with this awards, truly. Words can't express the feels that are flowing through me. I stood against some hard competition, but I showed everyone that I will become the heart of joshi wrestling. This award means that I am on the right path, but everyone else see it as well. Next year success will continue to follow me on my JROK career, thank you all again.
Momoko blows a kiss, following off with a cheerful smile.
