Thursday Night Inferno #17:
March 10th, 2021
Creative/RP Deadline: March 4th at 11:59PMET
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
Double Main Event
Wrestler of the Year: Penalty Box Match
Natalie Burrows vs. Vodka Fizz vs. MYOJIN vs. Anthony Caffrey vs. Misha Constantine
The four leading vote-getters and Anthony Caffrey
battle for the right to be called the 2021 FIRESIDE Wrestler of the year.
With tempers boiling on all sides, championship implications, and rivalries galore heading in,
who gets the most pinfalls/submissions before the time limit expires?
Double Main Event
Who Goes First Pt. 2
Curtis Kanyon vs. Death Trap vs. Dylan Black
Told Mongo about this match. He goes,
"That better be the main event."
See Who Goes First Pt. 1 for details!
Zolothach Injury Update
WILDFIRE Champion Zolothach
Ahead of their title defense against Sam Sawyer at Fftf,
we'll check in on the injured Zolothach and how she's feeling
after being brutalized following her successful defense last Inferno.
Who Goes First Pt. 1
El Combatiante vs. Mistress Discipline vs. Evan Valentine Jr.
Two very competitive triple threat matches will decide
how the FIRESIDE Tag Team Championship is defended at Fuel for the Fire.
For Death Trap/Mistress and Dylan/Evan, the objective is simple:
if one or both of your team members win their match, your team qualifies for the FftF tag title match.
If not, you still own your tag title shot -- just not on the PPV card.
El Bang Hermanos' job is simple: eliminate your competition for the PPV
by making sure they don't win either match.
If they win both, they'll get their choice of challenger and match type.
Five Minutes of Good Ol' Hard Work
Shane Locke vs. Ace Sky
Locke has requested five minutes of good ol' hard work
against anyone on the FIRESIDE roster.
Can Ace Sky shut down this challenge before it even gets going?
Heatseeker SPARK Championship Qualifiers: Win and You're In
Apathy vs. Hank Sokolov
Edward Zepp vs. Donzig
Rebecca Brookes vs. Rat Bastard
The first ever Heatseeker matches (see What You Need to Know for details)
see six competitors over three matches, with each winner qualifying
for the triple threat match for the vacant SPARK Championship
at Fuel for the Fire.
When the summaries come out,
who will have impressed and cemented their spot?
Lighting the Fire:
Sam Sawyer/Jack Hamilton
Ahead of their WILDFIRE Championship Submission Match
against Zolothach at Fuel for the Fire,
Sam Sawyer -- let's be honest, Jack Hamilton -- has been invited
to light the fire and speak on why Sam injured Zolothach last Inferno.

• Pre-match: interviews/special segments (ex: backstage shenanigans, debut trailers, on-show segments)
• Mid-match spots: during your match, cool/fun ideas that spotlight your character and/or help tell a story
(can my character freestyle during a match? Can they try to kick someone's teeth in? Yes!)

• Post-match spots: these are admittedly rare, but as long as they don’t bury the match or the match result

MAKE SURE ALL SPOTS ARE SENT TO BOTH VODKA FIZZ AND ANTHONY CAFFREY!

Please note not all creative will make it into the show due to various constraints.
We will try to work with what we can, sometimes we tweak things to make things pop more
or to service a story you might not quite be seeing.

Quickfire Bonus
We really hate ties/draws in FIRESIDE.
Going forward, any tie/draw will be broken
with the advantage going to whoever posted their RP first.
Please note this is only for ties/draws,
and we will be aware of any shenanigans.

FIRESIDE RP Limits:
You and Your Opponent(s) Decide!
How To Agree to Your RP Limit:
Post below! Come up with some terms that you and your opponents can agree on.
• Word count limit
• Number of RPs
• If there’s a special format compared to regular RPing
Once you agree, have someone write out the terms, then write /s CHARACTER NAME /s.
The opponent should also write /s CHARACTER NAME /s in a reply.
The opponent should also write /s CHARACTER NAME /s in a reply.
It's like writing a contract, but please, no in-characters barbs here. Save it for the roleplays.
If you can’t agree, there’s two options:
1) Agree to Disagree: All wrestlers have unlimited word counts over 2 RPs.
Competitors are advised to not drive themselves crazy.

2) Advantage/Disadvantage: Agree to terms that are unfavorable to you and give the opponent disadvantage.
Your opponent has to clearly beat you to win.

Please be aware: if you do not communicate in advance to both me and your opponent that you're going to end up sandbagging
(RPing very close to an established deadline, like the day of), there will be a penalty.
Please do not clog the thread. If it takes more than four posts to come to an agreement, please move to PMs.
Once all parties agree, get RPing! Your time starts then and ends at the Friday deadline.
