(The scene opens up inside of a press room with a "Blow Your Mind" backdrop and that has a podium with two microphones attached to it. The buzzing of reporters, pages turning, the voices filling the room. Then, Maddox and Candy step through a door, grinning from ear to ear, waving at the reporters as the flashes continue to erupt in the room. They center themselves behind the podium and await the reporters questions)
REPORTER #1: Hello, Janet from The Wrestling Chronicle. With Blow Your Mind on the horizon, anything you guys are doing to prepare to go up against Rated M?
(Maddox rolls his eyes)
MADDOX: Janet babes, we've BEEN prepared to go up against Rated M. All the training we've done in our careers is ENOUGH to get us into this ring and to wrestle these baboons.
REPORTER #2: Hola mi amors, Roberto del heraldo de miami. Crees que Kid Diaz ha mordido más de lo que puede masticar?

MADDOX: Gracias. Kid Diaz truly just needs to put his eggs in that Open Weight Championship basket. He's most definitely bitten off more then he can chew. Having to hold two title belts AND carry Adam Miller along....thats a lot of weight. The Black Hand is literally resting on HIS shoulders.
CANDY: The Tag Team division needs respectable champions once again. We've seen enough of Rated M as the Tag Team Champions, dont ya think? We need to keep the clowns at the circus. We only have room for one here at UPW and thats Jester.
(The room all chuckles together)
REPORTER #3: Tanisha from Pro Wrestling Illustrated. We've seen this growth of Haus of Salvaje over the recent months and you guys truly grew yourself into power players within this division. Did you originally see this for you two?
(Candy and Maddox look at each other with a question mark on their face but seem to be on the same page. Maddox smiles, turns to face the reporters and gestures to Candy)
CANDY: The goal ALWAYS was to come to UPW and let Maddox shine. The guy is a superstar outside of wrestling. He's money. He's an experience. He got to make a name for himself here and truly got to get his feet wet and get dirty. He pounded the pavement. I got to be there for him along the way and help him in every single way I could. But one thing we have never gotten to do professionally is....wrestle TOGETHER. We got to brain storming and really came to this conclusion that like.....you can be this amazing singles wrestler, I can also wrestle but why NOT do this TOGETHER as a team? Why not win some gold together?
(Candy looks over at Maddox looking for him to continue their thought. He steps forward into the mic)
MADDOX: I can be a bad bitch by myself, she can be THE BADDEST bitch by herself but....two bad ass bitches here at UPW combine. THATS a power couple. THATS wrestling gold WITHOUT the championship. We're electric together. We move and think the same. She has strengths that really compliment my weaknesses and vice versa. So to answer your question....no, I dont think we originally seen this for us two but circumstances really drove us to this and we're so glad we did. We plan on Haus of Salvaje going down as one of the greatest tag teams that has ever graced UPW and I think we've begun to do that.
CANDY: Cause you're right, Haus of Salvaje really blossomed over the last couple months. We ARE power players in the tag team division which is why we are facing Rated M here at Blow Your Mind for their belts.
TANISHA: So you plan on winning and making an impact in the tag team division?
MADDOX: One hundred percent, no questions asked. Even if we happen to potentially lose, that is not the end of our team. It just wasn't the "time" for us. Everything has a time and a place. We're just banking on the fact that our time will be at Blow Your Mind and we will get to write our name down on that list of champions.
REPORTER #4: Rocky from ESPN. Do you have any plans beyond the tag team division if this doesn't go in your favor?
(Candy leans forward looking a tad bit annoyed)
CANDY: Rocky, you'll have to ask that question again once Blow Your Mind is over. We're not focusing on that. We are in the present. The now. The current.
MADDOX: Right my dude. Manifest our victory, thank you.
(He winks at Rocky and settles back into a neutral standing position)
TANISHA: You haven't placed your bet yet for Blow Your Mind. Who are you putting your money on? Is It time to cash in your golden chip?
(A sly smile grows across Maddox's face. He turns to look at Candy and she looks at him. He turns back to face the microphone)
MADDOX: No golden chip yet. We feel like it's a MASSIVE night for us and we want to keep the focus on us and our match and not really worry where a ton of our money is going. Plus, this event is stacked and a lot of these matches could go either way. We've been going in-between Jester and Nathaniel. But I think we landed on placing $150 on Jester. Not a massive bet but at least enough to get us up to $650 if we are correct. If not, well....you can obviously do math. Pixi is killing It anyways but we'll find an opportune moment to use our Gold Chip when we feel like we can target the winners on the card.
CANDY: So you heard It. $150 on Jester. So go and kick her ass sir.
JANET: Do you wanna do predictions for the rest of the night, just for fun?
(They both shrug their shoulders)
MADDOX: Why not? That'd be fun. So we placed our bet on Jester. Can anyone read us the card?
JANET: I got you. Next match is the Sin City Disciples vs The Robinson family.
(Maddox lets out a deep exhale)
MADDOX: Oh god. Butch is literally still trying to make this happen for himself. This match could literally go either way. The Robinson Family are very in sync with each other. They are more versed in the wrestling world combined where as Butch is so green. However, his partner is DeHaven who has been at this for awhile. With all that being said....Butch and the Sin City Disciples have not been very lucky as of late. They could pull one out here and take the W. As much as I hate that asshole for tasing me, I think they might get their shit together and pull out a W here.
CANDY: I'm gonna go with The Robinson family. There's no way Butch is gonna be able to pull that out. Okay, next.
JANET: Fatal Four Way with Jack Ruby, Rain, Trixie and Vile.
CANDY: Oooooh...this one is going to be good. With the experience of Jack, the tenacity of Rain, the hunger of Trixie and the aggression I dont give a fuck attitude from Vile...I feel like this is gonna be an all out war. Vile literally has a problem and feels threatened by every other female and has a problem with every other person here, really, so I see her trying to rip Trixies face off. HOWEVER, by the end of this match, I see Rain as the victor.
MADDOX: I agree with that. I think he's gonna pull out the win here. I'd almost say Vile could be capable of the win but I feel like she might get herself thrown out of the match. Next match.
JANET: Joe Nobody vs Nathaniel for the Boyd Gaming High Rollers Championship.
MADDOX: Joe really has a huge challenge here. Nathaniel is hungry for gold and I think he's going to swipe that belt from Joe and be the next champ.
CANDY: Agreed. Fuck Joe Nobody. Next.
JANET: Your match but we know your prediction for that.

JANET: Pixi vs David Berg for the Sin City Championship.
CANDY: Oh easy, our winner would be Pixi. David Berg highly underestimates the power of the Pixi and she's gonna show him exactly what's up. They may have been easily matched at the last Friday Night Free For All but Pixi I believe is gonna bring something different to this match. Plus, we need Pixi as the Sin City Champion longer. She deserves this.
MADDOX: Agreed on that one. Next.
JANET: Cage vs the Mystery guest.
CANDY: I mean, I'll take this one. Dare seem's to think im running for something so, my winners pick would be Cage. I hope he can pull this out. Would love for him to rub that in the face of Dare.
MADDOX: I mean, I don't know. Dare seem's to be a tricky man who can get his way somehow. Cage has an uphill battle but I think he can pull the win out too.
JANET: Last but not least...the Open Weight Championship match with Kid Diaz and CJ Walker.
MADDOX: I mean honestly....this could go either way too. Out of everyone in the locker room who could not beat Bishop for that championship belt, Walker was the one to do It. He was capable of beating Bishop so he's DAMN SURE capable of beating Diaz as well. Will Diaz outsmart CJ Walker though?
CANDY: Yeah, I don't know on this one. Walker has had A THOUSAND championship opportunities for this belt. While he's won, they've been taken from him. We'd love to see the Black Hand crumble in anyway possible, honestly. But, after is all said and done, I see Diaz pushing through being tired from our match and possibly retaining here. Either that or Jester is gonna exchange his prize and insert himself into that match.
MADDOX: Well, that just adds a whole new element to everything. But with just Diaz vs Walker, Im gonna say Walker finally takes that belt.
CANDY: Interesting. I mean, yeah, It could go either way, hard to say. So there you have It. Our predictions.
