Hi Gang!
First of all, I hope you all enjoyed Masquerade, you all put in some great work (on top of all the great work you already do), and I hope the show was worth the wait!
The next few months should be pretty exciting as well, April will see The XHF Rumble, a chance for everybody who wants a shot at the X*Crown to get a shot at the X*Crown. And with that in mind, we will have our fourth open Fight Night to make sure nobody gets burned out around that and to also let you guys pick your own fights! After that, May will have our next PPV, Hostile Intent. Hostile Intent is a more hardcore themed PPV and is the storm before the other storm, which will be the second NLW G1, Kris will no doubt start putting information out about that as we get closer to the time. So as always a lot of fun things going on, and as always if there's anything you wanted to plan and do, please get in touch with a member of staff.
Speaking of staff, after what I can only describe as 16 months of the only admin job I've ever actually enjoyed, I've decided to step down from the NLW Admin Team. I probably will do the odd match and help out where I can, but after a small transition this week, I'll be staying out of the way and focusing partly on RP'ing, and partly on a few real life things, probably more of the latter. I've realised that recently I've been burning the candle at both ends a little, and that's never a good thing, and this past weekend made me realise it's at the detriment to myself personally, as well as holding Kris and Adrien back. That's not fair, so for the good of everybody, I'm taking the step away. I want to thank all of the guys and girls who I've worked with in the team, Kris, Adrien, Mav, Bobby, as well as Dylan who's stepped in a few times to settle a few ties! Also a thank you to all of you who play the game each week, I say it almost too often but the positive reaction to this idea a few of us had one slow afternoon almost two years ago now genuinely blows me away.
Kris will now be in charge, and I know from last years G1 where she ran that completely herself and left the rest of us about 5% of the rest of NLW to deal with that she's more than got this. I suspect this will also mean that some help may be required either with matches or potentially on the admin team (I've left that up for her to decide so won't put words in mouths), but hands up for volunteers! (Okay, maybe not hands up but do send her or Adrien a message if you can help).
As always, I think you're all brilliant, and I'm going to enjoy being one of the guys for the foreseeable!
- Robbie.
