MAIN EVENT
Erin Gordon vs NOMAD
Coming off a killer main-event where Poena took Gordon to the limits of physicality and her pain threshold, Erin finds herself in another main-event courtesy of not one but TWO Nor'Easter Spinning Backfists. She didn't escape completely unscathed with the crowd in attendance and at home visibly wincing at the sound of Poena snapping her fingers mid-match. Will the injury disrupt the training camp of a fighter who leads with her fist and wants to stand and bang? NOMAD will be hoping so, he himself came out victorious in what several commentators called a war. Standing victorious over the XHF Legend that is Brad Kane has made several people in Tap Out stand up and reward him with this match. Erin Gordon put in the Match of the Night but can NOMAD keep up and pull off a HUGE scalp? Or will the Blooming Valley Brawler stand tall once more?
CO-MAIN EVENT
Poena vs Close Collins
Poena can count himself unlucky that he didn't walk out of TOW 1 with his hand raised in victory but being the sadistic bastard that he is, he seemed to enjoy taking Erin to the dark places he resides. The Master of Digital Manipulation might have lost but he'll be licking his lips at this match-up and the chance to inflict damage and mental torture on his opponent or, as he might view it, his prey. Close Collins isn't going to be the wounded gazelle on the Serengeti. He pulled off the upset of the night when he took down a certain first-ballot Hall of Famer, Jason Long. Can the guidance of his father at ringside take the rookie to another big win as he continues to learn and hone his craft inside the ring. Cross Recoba stated he knew that the rookie would only learn going against seasoned pros but will this prove to be a step too far and too soon for Collins or will he manage to further grow his name with the win?
Jackalope/Adrien Cochrane vs Brad Kane/Tommy Strychnine
In the first tag-team match in Tap Out history we see two teams that complement each other in style and attitudes. Jackalope is quickly becoming a fan favorite within Tap Out, the Vegas crowd getting behind the wild-haired high-flyer with each leap and dive in his victory over Tommy Strychnine. He'll be teamed up with former X*Crown Champion, Adrien Cochrane. Eddie Walker didn't seem pleased his client now fights under the Tap Out banner but the Dropkick King brings expertise and experience to the match that Jackalope will need. His Adrien Cutter has taken down scores of competitors on the Network and the ability to hit it from anywhere adds to the threat he brings into each match. Facing off against them is the team of Brad Kane and Tommy Strychnine. Kane came close to getting the win in the opener of TOW 1 but came away licking his wounds. Can BK get back on the winning side of the equation? He loves nothing better than to drop people on their heads and the opposing team are far easier to do that to than the huge frame of NOMAD. He'll be itching to beat them down and set them up for the BK Backfist. Joining him is Tommy Strychnine. The Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em Rocker showed that he isn't carrying ring-rust now from his absence from the ring and his combination of technical prowess and brawling is completed by the sheer unpredictability he brings to the ring. Will he get the chance to connect and put down Jackalope with the November Rainmaker? Tune in on the 27th to find out!
Jason Long vs Wildcat Capone
When the inevitable career highlight DVD is released on Long's career we're almost certain that he won't fight to include last month's match. Finding himself on the wrong side of the equation against Close Collins we know the Irishman will be spending the full fight camp ensuring he comes into the ring to make a statement and remind everyone why he is known as The Best Bout Machine! Joining him in the opener is Wildcat Capone. The rookie from Lexington wasn't available for last month's show but now finds himself with the same chance in front of him that Close took full advantage of at our last show. The brawler will have to get inventive with Long being one of the best strikers in the game. With everything to gain and nothing to lose, the man looking for a way out from the streets won't get many better opportunities than this to make his name. Lets hope we see an opener with all the fire and fighting spirit it's predecessor showed as we open the night!
