Word has come from the office of BB Gunn that Nathan Cage has been removed from active competition for episode XXXII of Ascendancy after the NLW World Champion's actions during a meeting. Details of the skirmish have not been made public, but Gunn was quoted as saying that "Since the Rabid Dog refused to behave himself, he will have his playtime taken away. Nathan Cage will be present for his contract signing with Keahi Sparks, but he will not be wrestling."

It has been confirmed that former X*Crown Champion Spike Kane will be taking the place of Cage, facing off against Adam Sanders one-on-one.

An attempt was made to get a comment from Cage, but all this reporter got in response was profanity that is likely best to not be repeated
