NLW Ascendancy XXXV - Open Fight Night IV
April 30th, 2022 Hi, yinz! It's time for NLW's quarterly (or thereabouts--what is time but a construct, anyway?) Open Fight Night! What is Open Fight Night?
OFN is your opportunity to make a challenge to anyone on the roster. We set this up with the Rumble RP period in mind at the beginning of the year. While the RP period overlap isn't as large as initially thought, we decided to keep it around anyway so that yinz have the chance to set up your dream matches. So I can challenge ANYBODY? To ANY sort of match?
Yep! To quote Robbie, 'There are only two rules to Open Fight Night, if you want to challenge for a title, the champion can choose to say yes or no--they are under no obligation to put the title on the line. The second is both parties must agree on the match stipulation (if any), and who they want to face. This is 100% XHF Network wide as well. We love a guest or two.' Anything else?
All matches will be one roleplay at 750 words. This go-round, we're capping the card at six matches for now. We're open to the idea of more, but we'd like some matchwriting help if that winds up being the case. If you wanna do a segment for Ascendancy XXXIV to more officially set things up, then you're more than welcome to! We will be locking this thread and finalizing the card at the same time as the segment deadline for Ascendancy XXXIV, which is Friday, April 15th at 7:00pm EDT. Please, feel free to use this thread to set up/discuss your matches--and keep it civil, alright? Going IC to make a challenge is not required.
