The opening beats of “Underdog” by You Me At Six begins to play.
“I know something you don't,
It comes and goes,
Like the strength in your bones, woah.
So keep your mind at a rest,
I'll never let the two of us be friends
Does it… hurt?”
As the opening verse is sung Trixie Mars comes out onto the stage, dressed in her usual ring attire with a black hooded zip up top. She drops the hood back and encourages the crowd to sing the next line along with her.
“Underdog, just look at the mess you made
It's such a shame, a shame, we had to find out this way!”
A coy smile from the Emerald Underdog, and she starts to head down to the ring, flanked by her manager, Rob Arnold. Arnold is as stoic as ever as he simply goes and lurks by the announcers’ desk, which leaves Mars to hop on the ring apron, before she climbs the outside of the turnbuckle and raises her arms out wide to absorb the cheers from the crowd. Satisfied, she drops into the ring and removes the hooded top, waiting patiently then in her corner for the match to begin.
