“Legacy!, what we leave behind, after all, is said and done. “
“At the moment, everyone is looking forward to the first show. Legacy: A New Dawn.”
“Many people are so caught up with the whole Legacy, rather than building them, brick by brick.”
As the camera manages to refocus better in the dark. Eddie is seen sitting in the corner of his training ring. For those that don't remember, the Skulls of Grimm clubhouse is located on a huge area of ground owned by Bobby Kane`s father.
“Not long now until the show. Still haven't heard anything from my opponent. Ronnie, I suspect that you are waiting until the last minute to say anything. That is if you have anything constructive to say"
Eddie rests his arms on the bottom rope, as he sits back against the turnbuckle pad.
"I am truly looking forward to the match. It seems to be a rare thing to face off against someone new these days."
Once comfortable, or more comfortable. He drops one leg down, laying across the ring mat. While the other knee is resting against the bottom rope.
"Ronnie, I am aware that you were once a big deal in NPW. Managing to win the Northern Openweight Championship. However Last time I saw you, you lost that same title to Dusty Griffiths. No shame in that. We all lose matches at times. Just happens to be the nature of the beast. You might just still be a big deal for WUK. So am I, one of the most anticipated signings to the new company so far. Due to my record in NPW, it was made sure that my contract was bought over to WUK as soon as possible."
It appears that Eddie has been working out, he is wearing his training shorts and boots. He has a towel around his neck, which he uses every once in a while to wipe his forehead.
"Changing the subject briefly. It has been brought to my attention that someone from the past has resurfaced. Not someone that I remember too well. However, this person seems to remember the Bastards and me very well. This was during my early days in the business and my stay in RSW."
Eddie reaches into his bag on the ring apron and pulls out a bottle of water, before downing half of the water in one hit.
"Jakie seems to remember my early days very well. He seems to have a lot to talk about. Going on record to state that I was nothing more than a lousy biker with brother issues. That I was always trying to make my folks proud. Even went on to tease that I may even be welcome to join the Wentzel Warriors yet…"
Taking the moment, Eddie uses pulls the towel from behind his neck and wipes it across his face with both hands
"The funny thing is, I recall that time in my past a little differently. I had already moved past any issues with my brother, and accepted that no matter what I would do, my folks wouldn't be proud due to them being six feet under… As for the suggestion of joining the Wentzel Warriors, I have my own family in the Skulls of Grimm. I understand that you have some religious connection, that's good for you. It's not at the top of my list nor anywhere on that list."
Eddie uses the middle ropes to pull himself up from the seat position to his feet.
"Swinging back to Ronnie Long, I hope you are hungry to once again prove yourself as one of the best. Looking to show your dominance."
Slowly he starts to walk closer to the opposite turnbuckle, as the camera moves around the side of the ring as well.
"I am not going to bash the fact that you are a cowboy, maybe this is a lifestyle rather than a ring gimmick. I am the President of my motorcycle club, that's not a gimmick. Gimmick or lifestyle; it doesn't matter. What matters is what happens in the ring, and what you are capable of doing."
As he reaches the other turnbuckle, he rests his forearms on the top turnbuckle pad as he carries on looking at the camera.
"I take my hat off to you, wanting to get back in the ring after that title loss and wanting to prove something. I would do the same thing if I was in your position. The only problem with this is you are going to be facing me. I am on my path, and taking a loss to you at this show, unfortunately, is not acceptable at all. Bad luck for you, my path runs straight through you and on to you the next round. For now, all I will say is best of luck. Beat me if you can, survive if I allow it!"
As Eddie starts to climb out of the ring, he suddenly stops and looks back at the camera.
"Is that still recording?"
The camera moved up and down as the operator was nodding in response.
"Good, I have a brief message for one of the roster members"
Eddie walks along the ring apron back towards the turnbuckle.
"Donzig, I haven't forgotten about you or that bunch of lovers that you hang with. Just remember one thing. You started this when you decided that you should have gotten the CWA title shot rather than me. "
Eddie is now staring into the camera.
"That was your mistake, boy. Thinking you could take what I had. Just because you wanted it. Soon enough we will face each other in the ring. It won't be a Wrestling match. It will be all open Warfare. By all means, try and beat me. There won't be much chance for you to survive, as I won't allow it!"
Eddie pushes the camera away before jumping off the ring apron and heading outside of the barn.
