Hello everyone! If you haven't already seen there is a new card up for May, and it's a really exciting couple of matches!
Why are they so exciting? The winners of the two matches will be guaranteed a ticket to Night of Champions at the end of July for the unification match that will create our first King of the World champion!
But wait, what is happening in June then?
In June the XHF Network will be hosting another global show called "Call to Arms"- it's a 5-person tag-team elimination tournament held on one night. Basically teams of 4-5 enter and if a person is eliminated they're out of the entire tournament. The winning team though goes on to July's Overheated show as potential spoilers to the qualifying matches for the X*Crown Championship title at Night of Champions (where we are also sending a representative). That means that if we send a team AND win, we can send 6 different people to Overheated and stand a pretty strong chance of getting into the X*Crown match (and maybe even winning it!).
Therefore, we'd like to send a team to Call to Arms, and use that as our June booking. With the roster we have now, we should easily be able to make a team that gives everyone a chance (assuming Steve Awesome is on the BANG Bros team). But just to make sure everyone is cool with that we wanted to give you the chance to absolutely opt in (guaranteed spot on the team) or opt out (either not wrestling in June or joining another team probably). So feel free to let us know in replies here if you're in or out!
Last year the Call to Arms show was in a prison and the wrestlers got bonus points from promoing with the theme (with all the characters being in the prison for the rp period). This year it's on an island, like survivor...survivor horror that is. You can read about it more in the latest eWrestling Monthly magazine. Call to Arms is a lot of fun and not too difficult to rp for (I think it's just one rp per character). And we're really excited to see what team REIGN can do, presumably to reign...because it's in the name and all.
Take a look, if you're really into it and want to make sure you're on the team then by all means opt-in in the replies. If you're not feeling it or have sold your soul to another team, let us know ASAP in the comments because I think that official sign-ups will be coming soon. If too many people opt out we might be open to allowing outsiders to come in as ringers- but again, we should be able to manage a team with our current roster! If you'll just do whatever you're booked to do then you don't need to reply and we'll just auto-add you to the team once sign-ups come around.
Have fun promoing for "Festa Toda a Noite em Sao Luis" (Party All-Night in Sau Luis) and let's kick some serious ass in the next couple of months!
Confirmed:
1. Esmeralda von Krauss
2. Rat Bastard
3. Aiden Merric (Tucker? Other?)
4.
5.
