Hello folks and welcome to Fantasy Cruiserfest, the fantasy League where we see who will be the King of the Cruiserweights!
Alright, so right up front: I have zero experience with fantasy football/baseball/etc. So I'm just gonna make up some simple rules and we'll hope everything works out alright.
This fantasy league is strictly for the roster of 205 Live, the WWE's official cruiserweights. I chose this because it's not particularly complicated (small roster, one title) and because I actually like 205 Live. If someone would like to make a League for other rosters or WWE as a whole or something, you're welcome to it; that's why I made a whole forum.
Anyway, the rules!
1.At the beginning of a season (or in the middle if you join late), everyone who participates can choose 1 205 Live wrestler. It's first come first serve, so once the roster is full there's nothing I can do (haha, I feel bad for the guy who gets stuck with Daivari). If your wrestler gets injured, leaves WWE, or joins the main roster you are allowed to switch to another open guy- pending there is another guy left over (Daivari).
2. Scoring: If your guy wins a match (including tag matches) on any televised WWE show (Raw, Smackdown, 205, Main Event, NXT, PPV, etc) you get one point. If your guy wins a title (probably the cruiserweight title) you get 2 points. HOWEVER, title defenses are only worth 1 point (otherwise the champ would rack up too many points). There are no negative points- so theoretically everyone should be scoring points since 205 Live is booked well. Scores are officially tallied every week, but you can follow your score as your guy competes.
3. I think 3 months is enough for a season. Maybe even too much. We'll figure out the number as we go. Anyway, at the end of the season the winner will be declared, and then everyone gets to pick again (maybe we'll make a rule that you can't pick the same guy twice in a row).
4. Have fun, trash talk is cool too because you know how competitive we all get. But don't whine if your guy sucks; he was your choice (or whatever was left over [Daivari])- and no, you can't change if your guy sucks.
So yeah, the rules are simple for Fantasy Cruiserfest, let's kick it into high gear bros!
