Festa Toda a Noite em Sao Luis
May 31st, 2022
Bar Do Nelson, Sao Luis, Brazil
May 31st, 2022
Bar Do Nelson, Sao Luis, Brazil
The broadcast opens with a wild party! Regge music blasts as an excited crowd enjoys the music and grinds their bodies in a very close-quartered atmosphere. It's hard to tell there will be a wrestling show here tonight, that is until the sound of Vincente Block comes on.
Block: Hello everyone and welcome to the Brazillian capital of reggae, Sao Luis! As you can see the party has already gotten started here and... um. CHET! CHET GET OVER HERE!
There's some noticeable jostling of equipment as the camera scans Bar Do Nelson looking for REIGN's staff. Finally it finds the commentary table and zooms in on two men looking very annoyed for different reasons.
Fletcher: What is so important that you needed to get me away from her?
He gestures into the sea of moving people.
Block: The show is about to start, you have a job to do.
Fletcher: Ugh fine, let's just get the wrestling stuff over with so we can get back to the fun!
Block: Are you kidding me? This IS the fun! Tonight we're watching the final scheduled plate matches until Night of Champions! We've got two debuts! There's bad blood abound and the rules are off...for the first match anyway.
Fletcher: Oh that's right, Sinclair, Mrs. Von Krauss, and Blaze Freya will all be mixing it up in a menage a trois!
Block: Don't let Esmeralda hear you call it that. Anyway, our main event is a wild mix of unsure alliances as four men are forced to work together but with only one of them walking out with three of the plates!
Fletcher: Yeah, Donzig, Merric, Steve, and now Rat Bastard all together? That's pretty sadistic booking. I support our REIGN overlords for setting up that kind of powder keg.
Block: Not to mention rumors that there may be some guests here tonight...
Fletcher: Hey, the more the merrier!
Block: Well now that you're settled let's turn things over to...wait, where's Burt?
Once again Vincente is having to scan the crowd, finally he locks eyes with REIGN's announcer/interviewer/whatever is needed at the time, Burt Tennor. He seems to be having a particularly good time but after a bit of "the eye" and Block pointing at his watch extricates himself from a sensual cornucopia of the bar's denizens to get into the ring, having to wave them off a couple times before getting into professional mode...
Burt Tennor: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a no disqualification match! The winner of the match will win the North American and Hardcore plates! Featuring first from Blackpool, England…she is Blaze Fuckin’ Freya!
The makeshift "arena" darkens and fans erupt into loud cheers as “Collapsing” by Demon Hunter blasts through the speakers. Red, pink and purple lights flicker on and off in rapid succession creating a beautiful strobe effect over the stage as none other than The Blackpool Bombshell herself, Blaze Freya comes out from behind the curtain, walking backwards onto the stage with a charismatic strut. Her black hood covers her lowered head until she spins around triggering the lights to brighten to reveal her gorgeous face as she removes the hood, headbanging with the fans a bit. She nods in approval hearing the roar of the crowd, feeding off of their excitement then rolls her shoulders a few times, sprinting down the ramp and sliding into the center of the ring, humping it briefly. Blaze then leans back on her knees running her fingers through her long black hair, flirtatiously winking at the nearest camera before standing up to her feet and walking back to her corner to await her opponent with a determined look on her face.
Block: She’s a rather decent looking woman that the SWAT crowd has seen a lot of.
Fletcher: You mean that she was booked often?
Block: No, I mean that her bottoms frequently found their way around her ankles.
Fletcher: Oh, southern exposure then.
Burt Tennor: And the next competitor in this match, hailing from Cologne, Germany…she is Esmeralda von Krauss!
“Circus Apocalypse” by Vermillion Lies begins playing as Esmeralda von Krauss walks out from the back with a black foot long cigarette holder with a lit Egyptian cigarette in hand. She looks around at the booing crowd with a predatory smile as she takes a drag from her cigarette and flicks ashes onto the floor. She slowly walks her way down to the ring, smoking the cigarette and blowing the smoke into the faces of nearby fans. That is until one darling fan reaches out to take the foot long holder from her. She snatches him by the wrist and twists quickly to effortlessly snap it. She releases the poor fan who sits back down in his seat and lets out a scream of pain as he clutches at his broken wrist. She gets to the ring and flicks the cigarette butt into the crowd before setting the cigarette holder onto the ring apron and then stepping through the ropes and into the ring. She glares at Blaze Freya, who merely looks determined.
Block: Why do I feel that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen?
Fletcher: The fan did reach out to her. Self defense.
Block: I don’t know that we can claim self defense. She’s like a living weapon.
Fletcher: Too right. Well, lawsuit it is.
Burt Tennor: The final participant in the match and holder of both the North American and Hardcore plates is hailing in from parts unknown. She is Sinclair Godfrey!
The lights go down, and come up red as Sinclair walks down the ramp, pausing to lift her coat before she looks out over the crowd with a faint smile. Then she walks down to the ring, climbing the stairs before wiping her feet on the apron. She steps under the ropes, lifting the coat before she shrugs it off to toss it to the ref. Pausing in the center of the ring to lift her arms and display the North American and Hardcore plates that she's defending.
Block: Your holder of two plates.
Fletcher: Donzig-Gun leading the charge in holding the plates, but we cannot award the main title to a group.
Block: You think that Sinclair wouldn’t take it to Donzig?
Fletcher: I guess she would.

Sinclair Godfrey (c) vs Esmeralda von Krauss vs Blaze Freya
As the bell sounds to start the match, Esmeralda looks over at Blaze Freya with a sneer.
Von Krauss: My husband isn’t here so I would imagine that you might be able to keep your clothes on for this match?
Blaze Freya: Hey! I ain’t undressing for your man.
Esmeralda reaches down to her thigh.
Von Krauss: Lügnerin!
A flick of the wrist sends an upholstery needle flying at Freya’s face. The fact that she got up a hand to slow the needle down as it rips through flesh stops it just short of going in through her eye socket and killing her instantly is nothing short of amazing.
Blaze Freya: You…BITCH!
She rips the needle out of her hand and throws it back at Esmeralda, who easily backhands it out of the way. It was only a distraction ploy as Freya takes Esmeralda down with a spear that she turns into a mount and rain blows down on Esmeralda’s head and chest. Sinclair Godfrey watches with interest before running and hitting Freya in the back of the head with a running knee to knock her off of Esmeralda. Sinclair extends a hand to help Esmeralda up, but she uses it as a moment to stabilize herself so she can hit a leaping palm strike to the nose of Sinclair Godrey to break her nose in a spectacular fashion as blood and snot go splattering everywhere from the strike. Sinclair is lifted up about three feet into the air as Esmeralda jumps and is sent back to slam against the ropes and then flat onto her face. Esmeralda walks around the downed form of Blaze Freya, pulling her up into a seated position. She places her hands on Freya’s forehead and chin.
Von Krauss: This is where we say goodbye, you worthless little stripper.
Blaze reaches up and manages to grab Esmeralda by the back of the head and pull her face into motorboating her boobs before pushing her away and then back into a hip toss driver! Sinclair Godfrey gets back to her feet as Blaze Freya gets her hand into the air before burying it down the front of her tights as if she were rooting around for something. Sinclair cocks her head in confusion at the sight, but that’s only until Freya uses that hand to slap her and then apply a mandible claw!
Block: Oh that’s just gross.
Fletcher: You saying that you wouldn’t want to taste Freya on her fingers?
Block: Well…I mean…not if it’s dirty down there!
Fletcher: That’s the risk you gotta take!
Esmeralda gets up and sees that the referee is checking to see if Sinclair will submit to the mandible claw. She rushes to the ropes and rebounds into a superman palm strike to Freya’s nose to break the move and her nose in a spectacular fashion. Freya tumbles backwards, end over end with blood spraying from her face like she was a twirling fountain. Esmeralda spins back to Sinclair and kicks the inside of her right knee and elbow strikes her in the throat as she falls to the mat. Sinclair clutches at her throat, gagging on the essence of Blaze Freya. Esmeralda walks over to the downed Blaze Freya and stomps on her left knee cap, getting a scream of pain from Freya. She holds a hand up into the air, apparently summoning a hook. She then hefts Freya up and hooks her bottoms onto the hook and tugs on the line that begins to reel Blaze Freya into the air.
Von Krauss: You can get out of that, dahling, but at the cost of your dignity. Choose quickly or it may be your last fall.
Before Esmeralda can turn back to Sinclair, she is grabbed from behind where Sinclair applies The Black Oath (Bank Statement) for a few seconds before getting back to her feet. She hooks Esmeralda’s legs and grabs her arms as if going for a surfboard, but NO! She places her foot between Esmeralda’s shoulder blades for the Witch’s Hammer (Wicked Stepsister), but Esmeralda puts out her hands to block the move! She rolls over to take Sinclair down with their legs still locked together. Sinclair releases the move and gets to her feet, where she finds Esmeralda in a squatting position.
Block: This could be bad.
Fletcher: For Sinclair.
Esmeralda leaps into the air and hits a twisting palm strike uppercut to the jaw that carries Sinclair nearly five feet straight up into the air before she falls backwards onto her back.
Block: Justice!
Fletcher: Do what now?
Block: That’s the name of the move.
Fletcher: Oh. I knew that.
Esmeralda goes for the cover.
One
Two
Three!
Block: Esmeralda spent too much time trying to humiliate Blaze Freya and was caught off guard by Sinclair Godfrey.
Fletcher: That’s for sure.
Block: She still managed to turn it around to a victory.
Fletcher: That’s why she has both the Hardcore and North American plates now.
Burt Tennor: Winner of the match via pinfall and NEW owner of the Hardcore and North American plates…Esmeralda von Krauss!
Esmeralda von Krauss celebrates by grabbing her foot long cigarette holder that was by her clutch purse so that she can begin smoking another Egyptian cigarette as she makes her way to the back. Sinclair Godfrey rolls out of the ring and she too, makes her way to the back.
Block: Are they forgetting something?
Fletcher: Like what?
Block: Blaze Freya?
Fletcher: Oh right!
Blaze Freya hangs over the ring with so much of a wedgie that her ass cheeks are in full display.
Blaze Freya: A little help?
The camera pans away from the announcer’s desk, towards the timekeeper’s table. Burt Tennor stands at ringside, next to the guardrail – where sitting in the front row is XHF X*Crown champion, Zoran Sainovic. Rather than carrying his mass of title belts around, The Final Boss advertises his accomplishment with an elaborate lapel pin. Audience members seated near the champ seem too physically intimidated by him to mug for camera time. This is wise.
Burt Tennor: Fans, it appears we’ve been joined by Der Kommissar himself, Zoran Sainovic. What brings you to Sao Paolo, champ?
The chorus of jeers brings a faint smile to the XHF Devil’s lips, who rises to speak.
Zoran Sainovic: Good evening Burt. I am in ze market for some championship contenders, but beyond zat – I saw zat REIGN was still advertising Steve Awesome as appearing tonight, despite ze fact zat everyone saw him legally die at ze Rumble. How could a dead man – who by all rights should be burning in hell right now – find time to prop up zis federation’s miniscule roster?
Burt Tennor: It is true that no one has heard from Steve since your brutal assault on him over a month ago.
Zoran Sainovic: Correction, receipt. But you advertised Awesome, which piqued my curiosity. Seems like ze kind of false advertising zat ze XHF would ONLY let REIGN get away with… because Mongo has a financial stake in zis dive. If zat’s ze case, zan it further behoves me to find a challenger from zis shallow pool anyway. Endear myself to ze brass. Politics. On a more personal note, I appreciate REIGN filling ze Fireside void – of having more belts zan talents.
With this last insult the REIGN fans seem ready to get brave, which would be a mistake – since Sainovic will fuck them up. Fortunately someone stomps out of the back to distract from the Mongo conspiracy theory. Unfortunately, that person is Zelda Knite! She has the nCw World Championship hanging on her shoulder.
Burt Tennor: Here come some answers! We are being joined by Steve Awesome’s significant other, Zelda Knite.
Zoran Sainovic: Zey’ll let anyone into ze back, won’t zey?
Rather than approach Tennor, Zelda enters the ring.
Zelda Knite: Listen up you sick son of a bitch!
The crowd gasps.
Zelda Knite: I may not know where Steve Awesome is. But I’m sick of watching waltz around here doing whatever the hell you want, to whomever without something being done. How about the Gamer Girl verse the Final Boss? The Legend of Zelda Knite verse Big, Bad Gannondork.
Burt Tennor: The poor woman has gone mad with grief.
Zoran Sainovic: Nice try, miss. But I would only be hurting you to get to Steve, and you just don’t mean zat much to him... or we would have met sooner.
Zelda Knite: Then how about for this-
Zoran’s eyes narrow, as Zelda holds up the NCW World title.
Zoran Sainovic: Yeah, he’d feel zat. Okay, well ze X*Crown is normally in ze main event, but I’m not going to denigrate ze rest of ze crew by pretending you’re anything better zan opener. Let’s do zis-
Rather than hop over the guardrail, Sainovic unlatches it, opening it like a gate. Tennor is quick to lock it back up before rambunctious fans can spill into the ringside area. Without missing a beat, Sainovic snatches three large water bottles off the timekeeper’s table – placing them in the corner of the ring, before entering to meet the challenger.
Block: They can’t let this happen-
Fletcher: Zelda looks serious.
Block: Can she even legally put that belt up?
Fletcher: She has possession of it- and attacks before the bell.

NCW World Title Unification Match
Zoran Sainovic (X*Crown) vs Zelda (NCW)
Block: Zelda catching Sainovic square on the jaw with a right hook.
Fletcher: Champ not even trying to block, just takes the pain. Encourages Zelda to give it another shot.
Block: She is more than happy to oblige. After the way Sainovic treated Steve, she could kill him.
Fletcher: Well, she could try – another left hook, and Zoran doesn’t seem phased. Pointing to his jaw and cheering her on. Another shot – and again.
Block: Zelda’s knuckles bloody – may have broken a finger, but keeps unloading.
As Sainovic absorbs the punishment, Zelda gets increasingly frustrated and angry – clearly hurting herself trying to break his smug jaw. Winding up for a roundhouse right, Zelda swings hard – only for Sainovic to catch her fist. Extending the arm, Zoran starts to pull Zelda down, then throws a leg over the arm. Rolling forwards, he bends the leg, hooking the arm – then pulling both her legs into it before both hit the canvas. The guard essentially ties up both of Zelda’s legs, and one arm, leaving her awkwardly prone on the canvas with one shoulder up to avoid the pin. While trapping her with his leg, Zoran has relatively free movement.
Block: Zoran effortlessly forcing Zelda to the canvas- and adding the NCW World title to the crown will be quite the jewel for his legacy.
Fletcher: Zelda trying to reach the ropes, but she’s too centred.
Block: And Zoran controlling the guard enough to grab a water bottle out of the corner-
Zelda spits obscenities at Zoran. The Final Boss calmly pulls a handkerchief out of his breast pocket, and places it over the woman’s face. She tries to shake it off, still cursing away. Opening the water bottle, Zoran starts to empty it over her face – immediately causing her to choke.
Block: What is he-
Fletcher: ZORAN IS WATERBOARDING ZELDA!
Folding the handkerchief so that it’s covering more of her face, Zoran empties the rest of the water. Zelda convulses, having breathed in water, at the same time the damp cloth restricts oxygen. With calculated movements, Sainovic folds the hanky again to further the suffocating effect. Grabbing a second bottle, the pour is slower – the audience getting increasing upset at this legitimate torture.
Block: Referee asking if Zelda submits- but with that cloth over her face, he can barely hear her coughing.
Fletcher: Someone needs to stop this-
Another fold, and another bottle.
Fletcher: Title or not, Zelda had no right to challenge the Crown – and we aren’t watching a wrestling match, THIS ISN’T WRESTLING it’s just- just- this is sick.
Block: Neither are official REIGN competitors, we shouldn’t be subjected to this.
Fletcher: No one should be subjected to this.
The handkerchief gets removed – letting Zelda gasp for air. Then Zoran lets it drop back down, ready with another bottle. The flailing free arm – pinned under her own body, is losing fight.
Fletcher: I’m not calling this.
Block: Likewise. They aren’t REIGN stars anyway, get some security out here.
The crowd are vocal in their displeasure, and throwing garbage at the ring. The water trickles down onto the part of the cloth that seems to be gasping.
Zoran Sainovic: See Zelda, it’s a match worthy of NCW. Tough to watch.
Suddenly a cheer.
Zoran Sainovic: See, zey get it.
Not quite. The cheers are actually for-
! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Fletcher: STEVE AWESOME!!!
Block: Steve running down – as quickly as he can given the wounds – NAILING SAINOVIC FROM BEHIND LIKE A BLUR OF FURIOUS RAGE!
Fletcher: Cheap shot, but good for him, doing whatever it takes to get that monster off of Zelda!
Having shoved Zoran off, Awesome is quick to rip the damp cloth off of Zelda’s face. Bells ring, and Tennor announces a disqualification win for the champion, but Zoran can’t help but smile at his returning prey. Before Steve can check on Zelda, The Final Boss is on him.
Fletcher: SAINOVIC AND AWESOME BRAWLING IN THE CENTER OF THE RING, TRADING SHOT FOR SHOT!
Block: Steve still clearly hurting, but seeing the state of Zelda has fired him up – going toe to toe with the fiend.
Fletcher: Over a dozen security hitting the ring – what NOW they come out?
The ring fills up with twenty bodies, as security desperately try to pull the two men apart – and keep them from tripping over a drowned looking Zelda. When they finally put some distance between the two, and have Sainovic back against the ropes – Steve breaks free.
Fletcher: SUPERKICK!
Block: Awesome just sent Sainovic over the top rope!
The Final Boss lands on his feet. Then touches his face. Blood. A slight cut on his cheek. Eyes dart about the ring, looking for – yes, Zoran spots a blade taped to Steve’s foot. Security guards keep Zoran from getting back into the ring, leaving The XHF Devil to pace in a rage.
Steve Awesome: I’M NOT AFRAID OF YOU!
Unable to control his fury, Sainovic punches out the closest person to him. A young mother in the front row. The woman hits the floor, as Sainovic turns back with a snarl.
Zoran Sainovic: -YOU FUCKING SHOULD BE!
Assaulting an audience member is the last straw, and the crowd begins to look riotous. The garbage flies. Another dozen security guards start to usher in Sainovic out, while a concerned Steve Awesome checks on Zelda.
Fletcher: Looks like Zoran is getting the DQ win for that grotesque display.
Block: He’s using weapons and ZELDA gets disqualified?
Fletcher: Who’s going to DQ Zoran? He’d burn the ref’s house down.
Block: The DQ keeps the NCW World title from joining the X*Crown, but given the state of Zelda – that is of little consolation.
Burt Tennor: The following match is scheduled for three falls and will be contested under LUCHA RULES! Officiating tonight’s MAIN EVENT is Senior Referee Nicolas “Papito” Perez!
Walking through a crowd of people in a red and white zebra striped Polo. A rather unique new look for a REIGN referee to wear and one not seen yet during this season. Nicolas “Papito’ Perez was not the sharpest tool in the Referee shed but he was the man for the job this evening and what a match it would be to have to officiate.
Block: Is that a ravioli stain on Perez’s referee shirt?
Fletcher: Maybe it’s just the lighting. Either way Perez has a long night ahead of him with these four.
Burt Tennor: This match will take place under Lucha Libre traditional tag team rules. Meaning that tags are not mandatory between partners, but only ONE team member is allowed in the ring. The first five count by the referee will result in a warning to the team. If the referee must give a second warning, the result will be an immediate disqualification and move on to the next round. The team member to score the second and final pinfall for their team will be the NEW plate owners of the Catch-As-Catch-Can, Lucha Libre, and the Puroresu plates and closer to becoming REIGN’s first ever KING OF THE WORRRRRRLD!
Fans party on as the streets of Brazil, showing how to put on a festival. Many of the partaking members wore party masks to resemble a white, black, or gold half mask that covered a portion of the face. At each street sidewalk you could see the drinks flowing, a smell of the herbal kind in the air, and the ocean hitting the coast not far off in the distance could be heard ever so slightly. REIGN had come to Brazil and Brazil said ‘lets show you how to party!’
Burt Tennor: Introducing FIRST - hailing from Coober Pedy, South Australia! Known to the world as ‘Outback’ he is – AIDEN MEEEEEERRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrIIIIIICCCCC!
"Ain't No Rest for the Wicked '', plays over the streets from above. Every roof had a speaker hanging off of them, angled towards the ring in multiple directions. This created a staggering sound effect when songs changed suddenly, however it was hardly a distraction as Brazil boogied on. Clear and from a dilapidated building with shutters nearly falling off it’s windows, out walks the Australian Mercenary, Aiden “the Outback’ Merric.
Fletcher: New to the scene but not new to the XHF, Aiden has been making it known he wants to change things.
Block: Change his attitude first, that’d be a start.
Fletcher: Tonight he has the opportunity to do just that. Donzig has all to lose in this Lucha Rules match.
Aiden is in the ring on the streets of Brazil.
Burt Tennor: Introducing his partner, hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! The leader of Donzig-GUN, he is known as the Scourge, the Ender of Worlds, the Master of the Void! I give you our reigning plate holder and DEFENDING not one, not two, but THREEE of REIGN plates this evening — DONZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzIIIIIIIIIIIIIG!
‘See You Soon’ by Chelsea Grin playing on the rooftop speakers as Donzig walks through a separate section of the crowd and makes his way to the ring setup on the streets of Brazil. It was a festival of sorts, mariachi bands playing, funk in the distance could be heard, and the party alive!
Block: What’s in to Burt tonight? He seems unusually chipper.
Fletcher: You know, you’re right. I haven’t seen him smiling like that since REIGN started.
Block: Donzig on the other hand
Donzig stands in the ring furthest corner with Aiden Merric. String lights with multi-color glass jars surrounding the bulbs are draped as a diamond opposite the ring posts. The street is closed off on all sides, showing the festival atmosphere of one of Brazil’s favorite funk music locations. The Scourge and the Outback talk starting the match. A game of rock, paper, scissors ensues. Burt Tennor steps up to continue the introductions.
Burt Tennor: Introducing their opponents this evening! Hailing from Fabulous, Las Vegas, Nevada! He comes to REIGN in his debut tonight! Ladies and gentleme, the first ever XCrown champion — RAAAAAAAAAT BASTARD!
“Tear Away” by Drowning Pool hits and the scene stalemates as all the lights go out for a moment on the street and then blink on as Rat walks out, following his presence to the ring light lit torches. The six foot five, two hundred eighty pound Rat Bastard walked to the ring like a shroud of darkness, sucking the energy of the streets with his presence.
Block: Rat showed up to the XHF Rumble and made his business known. Love him or hate him, fans are paying attention to Rat Bastard.
Fletcher: With a name like that who wouldn’t?
Block: Surreal entrance here in this nearly outside venue we are at in Brazil.
Fletcher: Aye the party is alive though ain’t it? There is musicians and dancers on every street. Crowds of masked civilians drinking and dancing! Brazil knows how to turn up.
Block: Are you still reading that book Slang of the Modern Teenager?
Fletcher: Do I look like I read? It’s 2022, I use audible.
Finally to the ring, Rat stands in his corner as Donzig and Aiden Merric stand diagonal in the opposite corner. Merric steps up towards the referee saying he’ll start the match as Rat Bastard’s music fades.
Burt Tennor: Introducing the final participant, hailing from Detroit, Michigan! Known the world over as ‘The Face of the Franchise’, a pillar of the BANG! Bros, a bona-fide movie star and the 2021 winner of End of Days! He is… STEEEEEEEEEVE AWEEEEEEEEEEEE-SOME!
"Full of Regret" by Danko Jones plays through the streets and fans of the REIGN star turn with anticipation, seeking where Steve Awesome may arrive from. Fans turning left and right but after thirty seconds the music starts to die out and Burt Tennor is confused by the lack of a wrestler known world-wide for his Rotten Tomato cult of critiques, both creepy and clingy.
Fletcher: This is unusual.
Block: Yeah, are we not getting the advertised match?
Fletcher: It doesn’t look like Aiden is waiting any longer either way!
Smashing the back of Rat Bastard, the Outback charges him as he turns around to the center of the ring. Rat is crushed into the corner, where Aiden unleashes multiple forearm clotheslines in a row! Rat drops to a sitting position and sweeps his right leg to the shin of Merric! Enough to roll onto the apron. BOOM! A clubbing blow to his back as he rises, Donzig keeps Rat on his knees as he motions to Aiden to take him out!
Block: Rat’s feeling that lack of a partner.
Fletcher: I don’t blame Steve Awesome for not showing up. Why lower your standards?
Block: I doubt that is why he is not here tonight, but nevertheless his partner appears to not care if he comes out or not.
Camera cuts to a view from a corner building looking down at an angle of the ring setup, lacking guard rails nor pads, but the stringed multi-color mason jar lights that surrounded the ring from above. The fans and party going on in Bar Do Nelson, Sao Luis, Brazil tonight as the main event was seconds from starting.

Round 1
Block: Nicolas "Papito" Perez is the referee here tonight, signaling for the bell.
Fletcher: Looks like Aiden won a best of three in rock, paper, scissors to start it out.
Block: Donzig probably let him win.
Fletcher: No Steve Awesome is going to let down these ladies ringside. Looks like has a fan club here in Brazil.
Block: Not like Steve to disappoint his fans either.
Rat is up in no time and the lumbering soul sucking force of the big man is pissed. He lifts Aiden up and throws him into the ropes, driving a whaling elbow through the chest of the Outback! Merric hits the canvas in similar fashion to a car wreck, possibly having the wind knocked out of him in the process. The sixty plus pound weight advantage was a wrecking machine with a mission. Rat Bastard knew he was at a disadvantage to start and wasn’t going to give Aiden the chance. Stomping his chest after the elbow, Rat keeps Merric grounded until he hits the ropes again and splashes him. A quick cover but referee Perez is slow to react.
One!
Tw–
Kick out saves it! Merric is fast to put distance between him and Rat before standing up. Rat charges him, aiming a knee at the side of Aiden but he sees it and cross bodies Rat instead! Rolling through, Aiden is back to his feet and grabs the head of Rat, smashing it over and over with a closed fist! Perez misses the first few before yelling a warning at Aiden, but after seven or eight closed fists, Aiden smiles and lets go of Rat, looking at Perez like ‘what, I stopped’ but pushing it way too far.
Block: Too soon by my count.
Fletcher: Never too soon when you’re in a handicap match. Aiden is smart enough to take control however he can. Too bad he can’t do that with the DUIs.
Block: Abusing this referee’s lack of awareness is more like it.
Fletcher: Nothing will be respected tonight by these men, they are all ruthless to find a victory and have all shown that throughout their careers. Donzig is most definitely the center piece for anyone in this match.
Block: All it takes is getting the final pinfall for your team to score the victory, and you walk out with three REIGN Plates.
Fletcher: With only two other plates out there to collect; both mind you, held by Sinclair Godfrey respectfully.
Block: (clears throat) Ah-yes, Miss Godfrey has the plates that Donzig needs to become REIGN’s first ever ‘King of the World’.
Fletcher: He’s crazy enough to do it. Don’t you think?
Block: I plead the fifth.
Picking Rat up, Merric does an atomic drop and follows through with a bulldog! The Outback makes no bones about playing the rules lose as he drops down and chokes Rat Bastard as he rolls over. The lack of respect from Merric proved to be a smothering tactic to keep Rat Bastard grounded. Aiden finally let go as referee Perez yells ‘stop or else’ in a less than convincing manner. Merric grabs the boot of Rat and begins to drag him towards his corner but then stops and laughs at Rat realizing he has no tag partner. The Outback laughs out loud so hard his hand grabs his chest and Rat kicks him square in the knee cap! Getting up and smashing a hard uppercut into the jawline of the Aussie, Rat drives Aiden Merric to the ropes, keeping the offense rolling. That disrespect was about to be dished back and Rat was on a roll! After multiple body shots Aiden is Irish whipped across the ring.
Fletcher: one moment he looks ready to lose and outta nowhere he’s back!
Block: can’t say that Chet! Damn it our lawyers are going to be busy this week.
Fletcher: Huh? (Rolls eyes) whatever my partner is rambling on is moot anyway. Rat Bastard is about to send the Aussie back down under!
Spine buster by Rat Bastard! IMPLANT DDT on the reversal from Aiden Merric! Planted square on the forehead, Rat Bastard stands straight up and down before teetering over like an oak tree being brought to the dirt that nourished it. Aiden is looking like he was taking a breather as he stalls getting up or going for a cover. Merric finds reason and goes for the cover, taking a leg and hooking it as he lays his body over Rat’s chest for leverage. Perez is out of place one again, almost in a daze as he snaps to and realizes he has a job to do.
One!
Tw—
Kickout with authority! Rat nearly bench presses Aiden Merric off him and over Referee Perez to the bottom rope behind him. Aiden’s eyes are the size of cantaloupes, shocked by the raw power of Rat Bastard. There was no denying the man who made being a bad guy, a good thing; and being a near walking giant compared to most wrestlers - Rat Bastard was often overlooked or brushed off; a mistake many have made over his illustrious career.
Block: Rat Bastard is proving his chops are still there.
Fletcher: You have to have chops before you can lose them.
Block: Like you were ever XHF X*Crown champion before. Puh-lease.
Rat sits up nonchalantly, turning to The Outback and sprints towards him! Merric drop kicks the knees and guillotines Rat on the middle rope! Immediately jumping up and speeding across the ring, Merric launches himself at the back of Rat and sits on his as his one leg goes over the neck and he slams all his body weight on his upper neck and back. Holding the top rope he keeps the pressure on as Referee Perez again seems out of it and is late to start a rather slow five count. Aiden holds it to four and a half before bouncing off his opponents back to his feet. Rat Bastard drops to the canvas near the bottom rope, clutching his neck with both hands. Perez checks on Rat to see if he can go on, but Rat grabs him by the collar and can’t speak. About to motion for the bell, Aiden stomps on Rat’s shoulder to break his grasp of the referee’s shirt and stomps Rat Bastard a few more times before referee Perez finally gets between Merric and his opponent, getting frustrated with the loose rules and pushing it. Perez gets in Merric’s face and the Aussie puts his finger in his chest to let him know - it’s his ring, not the referee’s.
Fletcher: I have no idea what Nick Perez is doing here. He seems lost tonight.
Block: Jet lag will do that to you.
Fletcher: He better shake it quick. The Scourge has been known to make referees who make mistakes pay in one form or another.
Block: You talk about Donzig like he’s some crime boss. (Laughs belligerently) what are you smoking tonight Chet?
Fletcher: Doubting Donzig never ends well for people.
Rat comes up behind Aiden and applies a full nelson to the Outback wrestler, before lifting him off his feet into the air! Aiden uses his legs and wraps them around the waist of Rat before slipping his shoulders by raising both arms straight up and sliding out of Rat’s submission hold or stretch as many call it.
Block: Countered by Merric!
Fletcher: Oooooh!
Chet’s reaction came as Aiden threw his upper body through the legs and under Rat, slingshotting him towards the turnbuckle post where his partner stood. Donzig lays in with an elbow smash to the upper bridge of Rat’s nose, right between the eyes!
Fletcher: Opportunity struck and so did Donzig. The Scourge impresses me weekly Vince, he’s the standard that everyone in REIGN should want to be right now.
Block: I don’t know how much he’s paying you, but it’s not enough. Donzig is the only three Plate owner in REIGN, but he has not exactly done that with only his skills.
Fletcher: Don’t make accusations you can’t back up, you know how the Scourge gets.
Rat Bastard stumbles out of the corner after Donzig’s kill shot from the apron. A dazed and confused look as the tweety birds danced around his head, and RAINMAKER from Merric! All in one swoop The Outback hits his signature clothesline and follows it through to a pin attempt!

The crowd raves with the referee, counting in their native tongue as each count is made. The bell sounds, signaling round one has concluded.
Burt Tennor: Winner and taking the lead to 1-0 for his team! Our round one winner — Aiden Merric! (12:48)
A rest period is given before the next round of thirty seconds. Nicolas Perez checks on each corner with a head nod, before stepping back to the neutral corner and leaning there waiting for the stopwatch on his wrist to beep for round two.
Round 2
Burt Tennor: Now begins ROUND TWO of tonight’s main event! Aiden Merric and Donzig lead with a one round victory. A second here in this round will end the match, and the team member who scored the last fall will win all the plates on the line tonight!
DING! DING! DING!
Block: Turmoil in the corner of Donzig and Merric. Donzig entered the ring and told Aiden to leave, but Merric says he’s finishing what he started.
Fletcher: Donzig could say he saved Merric with that elbow strike to Rat, so not so fast Vinny.
Block: Donzig has everything to lose here. If Merric gets the pinfall, he takes all three of Donzig’s plates! That would shift the leader to our first King of the World in historic fashion!
Fletcher: We have seen this from Donzig before. The ultimate opportunist, always knowing the right time to make his move.
Block: Seriously, how much is he paying you to say this? Donzig is pure evil, a man without care or the ability to sympathize for anyone but himself. The narcissism is oozing in those eyes and that forked tongue of the Scourge.
Still in the corner arguing, Aiden Merric shakes his head and puts a finger sternly into the right pectoral muscle of Donzig. With each poke, Merric was getting closer. Donzig and Merric go forehead to forehead as their noses touch and clunk! Rat Bastard slams the tag team partners heads together. Merric and Donzig collide with force that sends Donzig back to the ropes and Merric to his knees. Rat Bastard hits Donzig with a big boot and sends tumbling to the outside ring area! Merric is back to his feet and right behind Rat Bastard!
Fletcher: Merric wants to write his own ticket and he could do it right now!
Block: Rainmaauh–NO!
Aiden Merric goes to the well one more time ripcords Rat from a back grapple to a face to face while he held his arm and yanked him forward – a clothesline for the ages one more time! Not to be the fall guy so easily, Rat ducks and delivers a sloppy spear! Rat’s frame looks like a battering ram as it launches into the midsection of the Aussie and launches him backwards!
Fletcher: Rat is hanging on for dear life and somehow pulls that one out of his a—
Block: He’s no stranger to the game Chet, do your homework for Xtreme-sake!
Rat doesn’t give it a second thought as he presses on and grabs Merric and heaves him to his feet. Launching Aiden into the far ropes, Donzig has just got on the apron when Merric bounces on the ropes and bumps him off and to the floor! Unprepared and not aware, Donzig and Aiden were showing how not being a cohesive team was breaking them down.
Block: Imagine being Donzig and realizing you don’t have to be pinned to lose your plates. I know that is weighing on his mind.
Fletcher: How would it not be? It’s crazy to think Donzig could leave here empty handed. Ruh-roh Vinnie.
Merric turns to see Donzig on a person ringside who broke his fall. Unlike other venues, Brazil offered no security for those in attendance and instead warned them at the beginning of the night to not stand too close or they may risk bodily damage as a bystander. It was sure to raise eyebrows to those not influenced by other substances. Donzig would show signs of life as Merric was spun around by Rat Bastard and kicked in the gut. Rat lifts Merric up and sits him on the top turnbuckle in a sitting position. Turning around he reaches up under the armpits and raises Merric up!
Fletcher: What goes up, must come down!
Black Out Drunk executed by Rat Bastard with perfection! It sends Aiden crashing into the center of the ring on his shoulders and neck, rolling through to a sitting position. One turn of the head, the Aussie from down under was showing his eyes had rolled into the back of his head and only the whites of his eyeballs could be seen.
Block: Portuguese talks of curses, and I wonder if tonight the Curse of Steve Awesome is at play. Donzig and Aiden so far have been unable to get along. That miscommunication and lack of team experience together is showing the holes in their armor.
Fletcher: They aren’t knights Vinnie, these are cold hearted S.O.Bs! All they want to do is beat everyone up and prove they are the toughest rooster in the ring.
Block: (quizzical look as he head tilts towards Fletcher) You’re right but I question the motive here with Steve Awesome not showing. We know better than to count out that Steve could show up at the last minute and be the one to save this match AND take home all the plates.
Fletcher: I’ve never seen a cherry pop but I bet Donzig’s head exploding from that scenario playing out to be pretty close to the real thing.
Instead of a cover it’s Donzig who Rat blasts with a big boot as he gets back on the apron, but still distracted by the people he crashed into outside the ring. Donzig catches only part of the big boot on his shoulder, but it’s enough to rock him one more time — this time he full on crashes into a ringside fan and tackles them to the ground! Rat turns back to the Outback who is now lying on his back. Rat covers Aiden and Perez is in position to finally make a count at the right time.

The bell sounds for Round 2 finishing as Burt Tennor stands up. Referee Perez pulls Rat Bastard off Aiden Merric as he began to punch him repeatedly after the pinfall was counted. Getting any edge he could in this handicap match, was no doubt the reason. Perez finally seems focused on the match for the first time tonight.
Burt Tennor: Winner of round two by a pinfall decision, Rat Bastard! (21:54)
Over twenty minutes in and round three was about to begin, all men showing their endurance being tested. Donzig was infuriated at his partner and the lack of guard rails to protect him from nearby fans, as well as the urgency to being involved in his plates being defended in this match.
Round 3
Burt Tennor: Now begins ROUND THREE and the last round of tonight’s main event! The person to win the third round fall will win ALL the plates being defended in the main event.
DING! DING! DING!
Aiden is blasted by Rat Bastard as he comes out of his corner, still a bit groggy but allowed to continue per Nick Perez. Rat sends the kitchen sink at him and blocks him into the corner. Donzig enters the ring and immediately hits Rat from behind, sending him crashing into Aiden, creating a corner sandwich of competitors. Donzig was fed up and not going to let this match end without his input, the CHAMPION’s input. Smashing the back of Rat with vicious elbow strikes before hooking the waist and connecting with a back body drop that has Rat land on his neck and shoulder area. Aiden shakes the cobwebs loose and finally comes out of the corner he was sandwiched in, shoving Donzig for that situation. Donzig shoves back, arguing that Aiden had failed him and he was taking over. Merric didn’t seem to like the tone or the shove and the two got in each other’s faces.
Block: This union of the minds is about to blow up!
Fletcher: I have five dollars on Donzig.
Block: I’m not taking any bets from you, you still owe me for lunch the other day.
Fletcher: I told you I lost my ATM card, I’ll get you back, I swear.
Donzig slaps Aiden Merric and tells him get out of HIS ring! This is the breaking point and Aiden blows up smashing Donzig with a right hook that rocks him. Returning with his own right, Donzig and Aiden clashed, blow after blow, the team union and handicap advantage had finally dissolved. Rat Bastard finds his footing and is up and comes at the two who had zero awareness of his presence in the midst of their slug fest. Rat crashes into the two with a double clothesline and Aiden and Donzig are taken off their feet by it. Donzig is up first with a seething in his body language being obvious, he was beyond any state of anger, it was more of a focused rage - one we’d seen before.
Fletcher: Oh no, look at this time bomb going off!
Block: I would hate to be in that ring right now.
Donzig kicks Rat in the gut as he goes to grab him by the head, causing Rat to heave over holding his stomach. Donzig redirects Rat and sends him flying out of the ring between the top and middle rope. This is all Nick Perez needed to allow the match to continue - saying Donzig and Merric were the legal men… How? Well, Lucha Libre rules is how, and apparently it was legal, or Nick was losing it finally; who knows. Donzig turns to Merric who was rushing towards him and back body drops his partner into the center of the ring.
Block: No love loss between these two. Whether they were a team or not is behind them, this is about the Plates and who wants them more. Nick Perez seems to be letting it stand.
Fletcher: I have no idea how this works but its happening anyway.
Block: Yeah, I’m sure our fans are curious too, but with Lucha Libre its two active members and no tag is needed, so as long as two competitors are in the ring it counts – or so I am being told (holding a note he was handed).
Picking up Aiden, Donzig hooks the arms and plants Aiden with a double arm DDT! The fans ringside are getting into the hard hitting action as they begin to sway and sing something in Portuguese that nobody understands in the ring or working the announcer’s table. Donzig rolls Aiden over and Nick Perez slides into action like he had been given an energy drink before the round started.

Shoulder up! Donzig grabs Aiden by the back of the head and delivers multiple punches in a row, showing that brawling expertise of using every moment to inflict damage on his opponent or partner in this case. Being that Aiden was now considered his opponent, it didn’t matter to Donzig who he pinned, just that he was the one to finish this match and retain his Plates. Donzig lifts Aiden up and sends him into the ropes. Rat is back up and slides in behind Donzig, who leapfrog’s Aiden and BOOM! Big Boot to the face of the Outback! Merric hits the canvas and rolls out of the ring as a result of. Rat Bastard smiles like he just scratched the winning lottery ticket as Donzig turns to see him instead of Aiden. The lumbering size alone was an advantage and surprise to see, but Donzig welcomed the challenge and gestured for the big man to come at him. Rat obliged but slowly, knowing his opponent must have a plan. Donzig slips under a swinging left fist that was slower than when this match started, stepping behind Rat, Donzig dropkicks the back of Rat’s left knee, causing Rat to stagger and finally go down to a knee. This provides Donzig the chance and he takes it, floating over Rat’s shoulder and grabbing him in a front cutter move that lays him on his chest! Donzig drops Rat with force!
Fletcher: What the hell was that?
Block: A variation of a floatover neckbreaker with an ace crusher like finish on it. Unique for Donzig.
Fletcher: He’s pulling out all the stops but will it be enough?
Block: Remember, Donzig has just entered this match tonight. Everyone else has been fighting it out all night long, almost by design. I’m sure Donzig is aiming to finish this one up and put a bow on it.
Fletcher: He doesn’t come off as the gift-giving type to me.
Donzig confirms Rat is still on the outside and gets a leg of Aiden’s before dragging him by the knee as he locks the ankle between his armpit. Rolling the Outback over to his stomach and applying an STF to his own partner!
Block: Aiden is far from grace here!
Fletcher: A good five feet from any rope, this is not looking promising for the Outback.
This could be it! Aiden was reaching and clawing for the bottom rope but it was far away and Donzig had a tight grip on the submission hold. Referee Perez gets right in the face of Aiden asking if he is ready to give up, but Aiden shakes his head before a muffled ‘No’ is heard. This only incites Donzig to wrench back harder on the submission hold, trying to break Aiden Merric’s spirit and send this one home.
Fletcher: All signs of hope are fading for Merric!
Block: Donzig is possessed!
Saved by Rat with a stomp to the back of Donzig’s back! Aiden is released of the hold as Nick Perez yells at Rat to get to his apron. Rat tilts his head and then grabs Aiden and tosses him from the ring instead. Shrugging at the referee, Rat looks at Perez like “will that do?” And Perez says to continue. Donzig is up and goes to kick Rat again in the gut but it’s caught this time, and Rat instead spins him around grabbing Donzig from behind and lifts him up for a torture rack! Slipping out and over the shoulder, Donzig grabbing Rat from behind and hitting his 25:17 on the athlete! Hooking both legs Donzig rolls him up for the cover and referee Nick Perez is on it like white on rice.

Block: I can’t believe it! After all that insanity, Donzig manages to pin Rat Bastard to maintain the stranglehold on his plates!
Fletcher: I believe it. Donzig is actually smart. He figured this whole thing out before the match ever started. You heard his promotional material.
Block: He is insane …
Fletcher: I don’t see your point Vic.
Burt Tennor: Your winner and STILL Catch-as-Catch-Can, Puroresu, and Lucha Libre plate holder … “The Scourge” … DOOOOOOONZIIIIIIIIIIIG!
Donzig slinks off of Rat Bastard and stares at him. Rat rolls out of the ring and holds the back of his neck as he glares back at Donzig.
Fletcher: And they all three now have to coexist at Call to Arms. Which is our next REIGN sponsored appearance-
Block: Hang on a second, Chet. Aiden is in the ring.
Aiden sure enough limps into the ring and grabs Donzig’s shoulder and spins him around. He begins jawing at the Scourge about doing all the work and getting screwed out of his trophies. Donzig just stares with those hollow eyes. His nose wrinkles … but before he can attack, the resourceful hunter has planted a firm right hand hook to the jaw and sent Donzig stumbling to the ropes. A clothesline over the top rope follows and Aiden slinks out of the ring after his new target.
Merric: Nobody … NOBODY … gets the better of Aiden Merric. I earned my trophies and you stole them from under my bloody nose!
Donzig wipes his mouth on the back of his hand and pushes off the barricade. He looks at Aiden with malice in his eyes.
Donzig: You want what’s mine? Come try and take them.
Block: GUYS! You need to coexist! Rat Bastard is already on his way up the ramp, laughing at this whole situation.
Aiden tackles Donzig into the barricade and rams his shoulder into the gut of the exhausted War that Walks. Donzig meanwhile retaliates with overhand axe strikes to the back. Neither man giving an inch. Donzig shoves Aiden back and kicks him in the gut. But Aiden knows what’s coming and resists. He shoves Donzig off towards the barricade. But before he can charge in for his own attack he is crushed from behind with a shot to the head by one of the plates in the hands of Sinclair Godfrey. Donzig strokes his beard.
Donzig: Not very prepared for a hunter. I brought my own army.
Aiden stumbles to his feet and away towards the ring steps. He turns and engages Sinclair in a brawl while Donzig watches and smirks. He slowly slinks his way over to the timekeeper’s table. Godfrey sends Aiden knee first into the steps. He rolls to his knees and hits a flurry of chops to the stomach. He slowly stands, stumbles on his now hurt left leg, then kicks her in the gut. He laughs as he looks at Donzig across the other side of the ringside area. He hooks her for a stunner of his own. But he is stopped by a bear hug from Mormo!
Fletcher: I mean, he should have seen this coming. Now ALL of Donzig-gun is out here.
Block: The ODS doesn’t seem the type to play nice either.
Mormo pulls Aiden away from Godfrey who punches him a few times. An overhead belly to belly suplex onto the steel stairs has Aiden arching his back in agony. He decides to cut his losses and escape. But he crawls right into Moloch. A huge leg drop to the back of the neck lays the hunter out on the floor. The ODS drag Aiden to his feet and slam him with a double flapjack onto the steel steps. Donzig slinks back over … with a steel chair in hand.
Donzig: Well it’s been … not fun … annoying, that’s the word. But we need to stop meeting like this. In the old days they would capture thieves and break their hands to prevent them repeating the act. You … tried to steal from me.
Merric: The bloody fuck are you on about, you unhinged bastard?
Mormo pulls Aiden’s right arm up and plants it on the steel steps. Donzig slams the chair down on his hand. Merric shouts in pain and recoils his hand. The bruising is already apparent.
Merric: YOU BLOODY CUNT!
Donzig: Oh … one isn’t enough. That hand is still mobile. Not enough.
Moloch lays the hand out on the stairs again and WHAM!
Block: Isn’t somebody going to stop this?
Fletcher: You volunteering?
Block: … Burt can’t you stop them? Where is all that security that … was late getting Zoran … I’m beginning to think we need to pay security better.
This time it’s the left hand laid out on the steps by Godfrey. WHAM!
Donzig: Well, sorry to end this so soon but I have places to be.
Moloch and Mormo wrestle Aiden’s head to the steps and lay it there. As Donzig rears back …
“Shoulders” by Coheed and Cambria plays. Donzig stops and looks up with a scowl. Aiden slips off the steps. Donzig sees and swings at him and misses. He begins to track Aiden as he looks around. He recognizes the theme song from another place. But most of the crowd does not. After all it only appeared one time on one Fireside show on Network programming. Nobody emerges on the rampway though.
Fletcher: Are we having an audio glitch? While this song absolutely slaps, this is not the appropriate time.
Block: The way Donzig reacted, that might be someone’s theme song.
Godfrey slowly backs up to the barricade and looks around … until someone in the crowd yanks her into the throng of Brazilian fans. A thud is heard.
Fletcher: What the heck was that?
Donzig wheels around and sees Sinclair gone and points to Mormo to find her. He then catches up to the crawling Merric and slams the chair on his spine. Aiden curls up in pain. Mormo is now looking into the crowd. A fan with a baseball bat cracks the bat, literally, over his head, putting the big hoss down. Donzig again stops and looks around. Aiden slides into the ring to try and escape. Donzig follows him and stalks him.
Donzig: No no. No escape. No reprieve.
He slams the chair again on Aiden then rams the edge into the back of his left hand. He then wraps the chair around the right arm of Aiden and looks ready to Pillmanize his arm. A fan leaps out of the crowd near Moloch and and cutters him onto the steel steps. The fan has a hoodie on. Donzig scowls and lurches to the ropes to shout at him. The fan throws back his hood as the music is still playing. Staring into the hollow eyes of Donzig is … XHF Legend and former 2 time X*Crown champion, Death Trap.
Death Trap: Hey there pal. You and me got some unfinished business. I let you run one company into the ground. I ain’t letting you crush another.
Donzig: Ha. Heh. Hahahaha! Last time we met I took you out for months!
Death Trap: Yeah … yeah. *inhale* Receipts always come due Donzig.
Death Trap slides into the ring and through the legs of the Scourge. Donzig spins and slams the chair down, but the legend dodge rolls and hits a high roundhouse to the side of the head. He then hits a question mark kick. Donzig is staggered.
Block: It’s Death Trap! What is he doing here?!
Fletcher: I’m being told he has signed with Reign and was going to make his debut here tonight, but Zoran distracted him.
Block: He’s with REIGN!? SWEET! He is taking it to the most decorated man on the roster!
DT hooks the tired Donzig in a front chancery. He tosses the arm over his head and hoists Donzig up into the cradle for the Main Attraction. Sinclair slides into the ring, looking battered, and pulls Donzig free. DT chases them to the ropes as they slide out.
Donzig: THIS ISN’T OVER! I WILL END YOU!
Death Trap: Many have tried, Donzig. You and me? This is only the start.
Death Trap turns to the downed Aiden and crouches down to tend to him. Aiden looks up at him with a confused look. DT stands up and extends a hand to Aiden. Aiden looks at it, back to his face, back to the hand. He clutches DT’s hand! … He pulls up to his feet and then yanks DT into the Target Neutralized! DT flips 180 degrees and crashes to the mat holding his head. Aiden spits on the downed hero.
Merric: Fucking hell, I ain’t your damsel in distress. Didn’t need yer bloody help anyway. Far as I’m concerned you can all fuck off. You go to the damned island. I can’t be bothered to care.
Merric flips off the wannabe savior and rolls out of the ring. DT is left alone in the ring lying on his back staring at the ceiling wondering what the hell just happened.
Block: Well our newest signee is now laid out in the ring. Turns out some people can’t be helped.
Fletcher: Did you catch that? This new guy just waltzed in and now gets a shot to get to the X*Crown again? What a crock.
Block: Well Aiden clearly doesn’t want anything to do with Donzig or Rat Bastard anymore. We need someone. And you can’t deny a former two time champ would go a long way to getting REIGN the win!
Fletcher: Whaever. We’ll see you all next time, tune into Call to Arms 3 in June to see your favorite REIGN stars compete. I’m out.
DT slowly climbs to his feet and stares out at the crowd as they all exit and leave him alone in the ring.
