MAIN EVENT
Close Collins (#3) vs Jack Diamond (#5)
For the first time since our inaugural event, we have two fresh faces in the main-event.
After taking two shows off, Close Collins returns to perhaps his toughest test yet. He already has the scalp of one Icon, he'll be keen to make it two for two in this contest. Using his time away to train and broaden his game, Collins will need every trick and move he can muster to pull off what would be one of the biggest upsets of the year. His father, Tuff Collins has proven himself to be far more successful training his son for the ring than he ever was inside it and it's to his credit his son finds himself in this match. Already qualified for the tournament, Close will want to use this match to send a message to the likes of NOMAD and Poena that he isn't just a rookie but instead a peer. If Collins walks out the winner, don't try and get a good price on him going all the way to win the tournament!
Standing in his way is a man who could arguably out-wrestle the majority of the roster. The fact he cheats almost seems to be because he can not because he has to. Whilst critics might say he didn't deserve to walk out the winner against Cochrane, the history books will simply say he won and not note the method. During the match we saw not just the side of him that knows more dirty tricks than almost anyone else on the roster but also the technical and hard-hitting style that has taken him right to the top of the Network in both singles and tag-team competition. What we're saying is he's very, very good at what he does inside the ring. If he can do better than his fellow Icon, Long, and beat Collins he'll be going into the tournament with a huge psychological advantage over his opponents. Will he be The Ace of Spades or remind us all why he's not always referred to as Jack Fucking Diamond in a positive light?
Whatever the result, the short odds are on this match to get the Match of the Night bonus!
CO-MAIN EVENT
Danni Anderson (#7=) vs Jason Long (#7=)
In two matches, Danni has managed to build a reputation for herself inside the Tap Out ring for the high-flying highlight reel offense that has been shaped by her Lucharesu style of attack. Her debut win against Tommy Strychnine gives her what could be an Ace in the hole when the night is over and in doing so she dazzled the fans with crisp and high-tempo moves. Her loss against MYOJIN didn't dent her reputation but instead showed that she could hang with the big hitters of the Network, if not get the job completely done. What the crowd saw in the match was that she could mix in some fast-paced strikes and had the makings of a ground game that could cause most of the roster an issue.
Jason Long announced his return in emphatic style at Tap Out Wrestling 4 when he put Jackalope to bed and with it the ghost of his loss to Close Collins at our first show. The former X*Crown and multiple XHF Tag-Team Champion reminded the fans that he got those accolades for a reason. With all those accolades though comes the self-pressure that he'll put on himself with it. With Infinite Pro Wrestling and Tap Out both jostling to be the Best New Company on the Network, Long is going to be keen to exploit and show any gaps he can find in Tap Out talent. Can he do that against Anderson? If the Jason Long who was part of the Icons turns up like at our last show, he may fancy his chances of going all the way to the title in the tournament!

Isabella Von Krauss (#7=) vs Jackalope (#7=)
The name Von Krauss carries a certain weight and whilst Esmerelda refuse to believe she's legitimate, anyone who saw the way in which she dealt with Tommy Strychnine and a whiskey bottle knows that she could definitely pass the skills test. Backing up the unhinged label she carried into her debut, we saw Isabella brawl and scrap her way to a victory in the opener of Tap Out Wrestling 4. If she can end the hometown crowd's favorite son's chances of going into the tournament whilst booking her own slot, she'll leave the arena the happiest person on The Strip. How will she fare if she makes the big dance? She'll relish showing you inside the ring against Kid Cryptid.
Jackalope on the other hand comes into the match with a 1-2 record in Tap Out, a statistic he'll want to correct. For him, making the tournament in his first company in his rookie year will be a huge success story. Having won the crowds over with his mix of high-flying offense and seemingly no sense of what fear actually is, he'll be backed to hilt by the crowd once that bell rings. Having beaten Tommy Strychnine in our maiden show before losing to Strych and Kane in a tag-match and then Long at Tap Out Wrestling 4, he'll be keen to apply the lessons each loss taught him. As an added incentive, a win here would travel far in ensuring Tommy Strychnine misses out at the last.

Tommy Strychnine (#11) vs Wildcat Capone (#13)
With the same points as the four people directly above him, Tommy's inconsistency drags down his form. With the same number of points as them, his head-to-head ranking against IVK and Danni Anderson must eat away at the Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em Rocker more now than ever. He can atone for it in one fell swoop if he walks out of the event with his hand raised against Wildcat Capone. He remains ever-popular and he'll rate his chances against the rookie plainly because he has proven that he isn't limited to just one approach inside the ring. He too will need to pick up a bonus point to make sure he qualifies for the tournament but defying the naysayers is something that has always been close by when he enters the ring.
Making his official debut at this event, Wildcat makes his debut on a TOW event almost four months after he should have faced off against Jason Long. He perhaps has the easiest task of the night, he knows he can't qualify for the tournament but he can make a name for himself if he stops Tommy from even being in with a sniff of the brackets once the match has ended. In the Tap Out Showcase he showed that he wasn't intimidated by a bigger name and was willing to push himself to the limit to try and bring the match home for his team. Looking at Collins in the main event and Jackalope being the home crowd's favorite, he'll know what's this match could do for him. With everything to gain and nothing to lose, the man looking for a way out from the streets won't get many better opportunities than this to make his name.

Adrien Cochrane (#12) vs Brad Kane (#6)
In a night where every match has far-reaching consequences, Adrien Cochrane might be the most in need of a win and a show-stealing performance on the night. A contentious loss to Jack Diamond is nothing to be ashamed of, the fact the Vegas crowd gave him a standing ovation as he left the ring at Tap Out Wrestling 4 should tell him as much. However, Adrien is a point off the pack and he needs at least a win and a bit of luck to keep him in the top eight spaces that will get him into the tournament. If he can grab the Match or Spot of the Night along with the win, he can make a comeback story that we'd be only too willing to sell to Disney if Mongo would let us!
Standing in his way is the ring veteran, Brad Kane. He himself can count himself unlucky with how his match at TOW 4 went but you don't spend as many years inside the squared circle as Kane without being resilient! He knows that a win on the home straight could take him as high as third and a more favorable draw in the bracket. He'll also want to add to his scalp list of former X*Crown Champions after taking down Spike Kane earlier in the year. He'll be confident in his chances, he hold a win over Adrien in Tap Out already having beaten him and Jackalope in a tag-team match with Tommy Strychnine. Ending Cochrane's chances would be the right kind of momentum to start people talking about Brad Kane as a real favorite in the tournament, all he has to do is make sure the BK Backfist connects as well against Cochrane as it did against Poena!
