Inside a small room crowded with books and stacks of arcane implements at a table covered with a worn velvet tablecloth. At one side of the table sat an older woman though still rather fine looking wearing a black and red robe, she peered at the man across from her with a thoughtful look. Across from her was the dumpy looking figure of Frank Wormwood, and he stared back at her from behind his thick glasses. He glanced around nervously, staring hard at a skull perched on some books. Nearby stood the amused looking Takaru Matsui, his arms folded over his chest as he tapped his fingers against his arm. The woman sighed. 'I don't do love potions.'
Takaru laughed, and gestured before he shook his head. Wormwood frowned at him, and grumbled. 'You want to get hit by magic spells is that it? You want Vampira to put a curse on you? Or maybe for Goth to do one of his magic tricks and have you hurt by squirrels is that it?'
'I don't believe in spells.' said the Red Slayer with a smile.
'Well, I do!' yelled Wormwood, and he turned back to the witch. 'Listen my client is in a match, and one of the guys is some kind of warlock? His wife is a witch? And then the other guy is well--'
Wormwood glanced at Takaru who shrugged, and then he turned back to the witch who was staring.
'--he's like a mobster? But immortal or something? And his wife is well, she's a monster.'
The witch lifted a brow.
'Something, she's something.'
The woman rolled her eyes, and thought it over. 'Is this about W:UK? Everytime I do a reading for that company I just get the Death card.'
Takaru looked up, a brow lifting before Wormwood grunted.
'That's just Donzig, he's--' Wormwood frowned, then lifted his pudgy hands to shrug. '--well, I don't think he'd use magic.'
The witch rolled her eyes, and grumbled. 'You drove the whole way here from Sunderland because you think someone is going to put a spell on your client?'
'When you say it like that it sounds stupid.' Wormwood sighed, and he adjusted his stained tie. The witch glanced at Takaru, and seemed to think it over before she rose to dig through the stacks of items. Takaru watched bemused before he looked back at the nervous Wormwood.
'Frank.'
Wormwood sighed, and Takaru brushed back his hair as the witch returned with a wand of twisted wood. She muttered to herself in a strange tongue, passing the wand around the pair before she gave a shrug. 'I don't get any spells.' Wormwood beamed happily, and the witch tossed down some bundles on the table. 'Sage, burn it in the morning and evening to scare off dark spirits.'
'You see Takaru? No way they can beat you without some kind of hocus pocus! You got this! You are going to kick them both in the face, and easy as that! 1-2-3!'
Matsui shrugged, and covered his smirk with his hand as Wormwood threw a stack of pounds before the Witch.
