The footage springs to live as Eddie is sitting down on the dust floor, leaning against the brick wall. He has his hood pulled up over his head. Both of his arms are resting on his knees, his head is slumped forwards looking down at the floor.
“So I have heard a lot of talk over the last few days. People talked about my actions at the end of the last show. Let's get one thing clear off the bat. Why did I do it, was it to gain another title shot. Was it to make a point? Was it a case that I was trying to make myself relevant?”
“I have heard this question since that night. It is almost like people are waiting for me to justify my actions. I had my reason for what I did. Do I have that burning desire to tell everyone about those reasons? Do I need to justify myself to anyone else on the roster?”
“Maybe It is that I am just a spoiled brat, riding around with the boys on bicycles. Going out on the estate terrorizing the elderly. What else is there to do when most of the females are bright orange in the neighbourhood.”
“Maybe I didn't deserve to be anywhere near the main event to start with. What I was, I think that I even stood a chance in winning the title, let alone being the first-ever champion.”
“It would seem that I am out of control, merely a child throwing a tantrum in a bid to get what I want.”
“Should I ask for forgiveness?”
Eddie slowly raises his head, his long hair is hanging down over his face. He slowly looks over towards the camera.
“Maybe I should apologize to Fowler and Morrisey for what happened.”
Suddenly a sadistic grin starts to emerge across his face, as he removes his hood, and pushes his hair out of his face.
“On second thoughts, fuck it!”
“The only thing that I am going to apologize for is not doing it sooner!”
“There is no way that I am going to justify my actions to any of you fuckers.”
“Seriously Billy Boy did you expect me to sit back in the corner? While you are walking around with that title around your waist. Did it escape your little brain, you never actually beat me in that match. It was that relic that you beat to win the championship.”
“You have some balls walking around calling yourself the champion, went you only beat a has been, you took the easy route to the championship. Can you honestly be happy with the fact that you had to beat the guy that is obviously past his prime. Then you didn't even have the nerve to try and right that wrong, oh no, you then went on to defend the title at the next show against someone that no one had ever heard off before.”
Taking the chance, Eddie ties his hair back, removing the last from his face.
“Oh Franky boy, you wanted to be a hero. Did it feel the way that you thought it would?”
“What reason did you have for coming out and challenging me to match. Or was it just the case that you know that Billy's reign could be in jeopardy at the triple threat match. Did you decide that you would challenge me, hoping to weaken me or even injury me so you boy would actually stand a chance in retaining that prestigious belt.”
“You do know that most wanna be heroes either get themselves killed or end up getting the people they are trying to protect, injured or killed.”
Pulling himself up from the floor, Eddie moves closer to the camera.
“So the man of many names wants to teach the little punk a lesson. Bring it!”
“So I want to show the world that I don't deserve to be in the ring at the same time as any of your Bastards. Just try it”
“You might have beat once before in the past, you sure you can do it again! Cause I'm not sure you have what it takes to put me down and keep me down. I can tell you right now, if you can do that, then Billy Boy will have to fight to survive. If he wants to walk out as the champion then he is going to have to beat me this time.”
“Quite frankly, you guys walk around like you are king, hell you all are more than happy to tell anyone and everyone how damn good you are. Seriously, are you trying to overcompensate for your shortcoming.”
“I am more than happy to prove to you that I more than deserve to be in the same ring as you. Right before I walk out the next show, leaving a bloody Fowler in the ring.”
“You want to be the hero and put me in my place, go ahead. NO I beg you, try. Try to prove to the world that you are as great as you claim you are. To be perfectly blunt with you, I'm not sure you have what it takes to put me in my place or take me out, maybe a few years ago. Not any more, old man!”
Stretching out his arm, Eddie points at the camera.
"Your days have long passed. Mine, well the Age of Havok is yet to come."
Suddenly the feed falls to darkness.
