As soon as the G1 was announced we knew this was a possibility, after the Scramble match… well, we both know there was a lot more emphasis on this match given the context.
Thespian, I have to hand it to you. You are by far smarter than you're average wrestler, more so the NLW roster. You saw the threat I possess. You saw the potential challenge, and you knew what it would take to stop me. You knew that the only way to neutralise the threat.
Put me down.
Now, I'm not talking about hitting your fancy finish and pulling of a dub. No, we both know how to deal with a real threat. You don't let up. You don't give them a second to breath. You keep hitting them. Over. And over.
Until they stop moving.
Bet your sweet ass you made an impression on me that night. Finally. Someone who understands. Someone who knows, who is willing to go to the same lengths to put someone down. Now I'll admit, I came into NLW looking for a fight, and to be honest? Besides the Scramble match? I haven't felt the fire from anyone… I don't work on auto pilot Thespian. I'm always adapting, always plotting, and always planning my way to the top. I came into NLW without any demands, never demanded a large salary, didn't demand a spot on the card… after the shit show that was FIRESIDE, I came to prove to the world, that I am still Spike fucking Kane.

I may not be wrestling at Night of Champions this year, but you know what, I played a huge part in my BANG! Bros getting to NoC, and I'm good with that. Represent boys. The thing is, it doesn't just help me refocus, it forces me to refocus and I have my sights set on winning this G1. I'm going to dominate this year, and I'm going to blaze my way to the top of this federation. Then I'm going to become a world champion that understand what it means to hold a company on your shoulders.
