I PROMISE THAT THE ENDING ALWAYS STAYS THE SAME. SO, THERE'S NO GOOD REASON IN MAKE BELIEVING.
THAT WE COULD EVER EXIST AGAIN. I CAN'T BE YOUR FRIEND, CAN'T BE YOUR LOVER.
CAN'T BE THE REASON WE HOLD BACK EACH OTHER. FROM FALLING IN LOVE WITH SOMEBODY OTHER THAN ME.
Fingers splay against the sheets as Savannah once again tosses and turns. She had a terrible time sleeping this week, partly due to her mind being overwhelmed with too many thoughts to process. Ever since she had run into Meliodas, there was an incessant nagging feeling at the very pit of her. No matter how she had tried to ignore it, it simply would not go away. With a sigh, she shoved the sheets off of her body and stepped out of bed. Arms tossed lazily into a silk robe as she tied it around her waist and stepped out onto the balcony quietly in the dead of night. As she slid the door shut behind her, she took a seat in one of the lounge chairs. Setting it up properly to be able to peer up at the night sky in all of its splendor. There's a gentle little sigh as she exhales softly, a small frown on her face as she stares up at the stars. "I hate you." The words aren't spoken to anyone in particular, but she knows deep down where they were directed. She swallows hard, pushes down the whirlwind of emotions she's feeling, and pulls out her cellphone as she sits up on the edge of the chair. Her phone is set up at the foot of the chair, propped up against the table and precariously against the railing as she is extremely careful in making sure nothing moves out of place.
"Well, well, well. Suppose it's about time for me to start running my mouth again, eh?" She flashes a cheeky little grin, leaning forward as she crosses her legs criss-cross style. Robe covering most of her body as she lets out a satisfied little sigh. "As just about everyone knows, not only am I entered into the Royal Crown Rumble, but I am taking on one of the people who will also be in that match at Adrenaline. Gotta say, getting in at least some sort of practice on one person is good enough for me." She shifts slightly, just enough to glance back up at the stars before speaking again. "Isn't it funny how stars work? I mean, they're giant balls of gas up there in space. But, here on Earth? They look like sparkling diamonds up there in the night sky. It's an interesting thing really." She directs her attention back towards the camera on her phone, smiling softly.
"Stars and I have a lot in common. Except I'm not a ball of gas, I'm a ball of fire and I'm ready to absolutely burn through the competition. I've got a lot of work cut out for me in the coming days leading up to the Rumble, but my focus is completely on Aaron for the time being. I've got a lot of pent up aggression, so I do have to apologize in advance for the type of mood I'll be in when we meet in the ring." She hums slightly, tilting her head a bit. "Though, there's nothing like a bit of competition to up the ante. I won't pretend that you're not a threat. You've been at this for over twenty years now and I respect your hustle. But, you have to understand that someone like me has nothing left to lose." She cracks her knuckles, neck rolling to one side and then the other before she continues.
"I've been through a lot and I'm stronger than the girl I used to be. Everyone seems to forget that I can throw down with the best of 'em, even if they seem to overlook me far more than others. But, I know better than to overlook anyone, and I won't overlook someone of your stature, Aaron. You've got quite a firecracker of a personality, but that's the best kind to have. Makes you fight that much harder to ensure you've put your opponent down for good. But, I can assure you right now. I am unlike anyone you have ever faced before." She flashes a little sideways grin at the camera before continuing. "However, you are also unlike anyone I have ever met before. So, I will not go into this with the mentality that I'll win off jump."
"I know you're going to make me work for a victory. But, I do intend to be the one with my hand raised high at the end of this all. Which means I will have to shed some tears, maybe some sweat, hopefully not any blood. Though, I'm not entirely against it in hindsight." She lets out a little sigh, shaking her head. "Still, I will not make this easy for you and I don't want you to go easy on me either. We're going to show the world why we've gotten our spots in the Rumble and prove that we more than deserve it. Even if that means I have to lose in the end. I'll go out swinging, one way or another." She stretches out, shifting a bit closer towards the camera.
"You're a little meanie face. But, that's okay! I'm a big fan in turning frowns upside down. By force or by choice. At the end of this all, you'll be smiling brightly for the world to see." She grins cheekily, tossing curly hair over one shoulder. "Even if you're staring up at the lights." She winks at the camera, soon ending the filming as she stops recording. She smiles in spite of herself, obviously satisfied, before taking one last look at the stars and stepping back inside.
RECORDING!
