'Psychotic Goth, I don't like to be angry. I don't like to feel angry, to feel vengeful, to be hateful.'
Takaru Matsui is inside the ring sparring with a trainer, battering kick after kick from every angle under the watching eyes of the masked Shimo. Frank Wormwood nods from the outside of the ring, leaning on the mat as he stares with wide eyes from behind his thick glasses. Matsui goes low, forcing the trainer to jump back as he sweeps his leg low across the mat. He comes back to his feet, raining elbows and forearms against the mats as the man was forced back. He called for a break, and Matsui paused after a few more blows as they backed against the ropes.
He wiped a hand across his hair, and the voice over started again.
'You see I know that I have a darkness inside me, a darkness in my blood. My family has done terrible things in this sport, my father did terrible things in this sport, my brother was a monster. And I stood aside and watched evil men do things in my name, I watched them do terrible things and didn't lift a hand to stop them. But you, Goth? You are calling me out, you are challenging me! You are the Dragon of W:UK?'
The montage started again, and Matsui wasted no time in coming off the ropes at his new partner. The man was dropped to the mat, and as he rose Matsui was on him with blow after blow against his training gear. He held up his hands, waving Takaru off as he drew back with a snarl to pace back and forth. He shook his head, and the man waved him. The kicks started coming again, hammering away at arms and limbs before the man was grabbed and driven into the mat which drew a shout of approval from Wormwood.
'You want the Red Slayer, Goth? You want to face me in Halifax? Good, because I am going to take all of my anger, all of my darkness out on you. You walk around here like you are some kind of king, like we should all fear you! Well, I am not a man to know fear, Goth. Especially not from a creature like you, because you see? You will face the Red Slayer at Halifax! You will bow down before the King of Kyoto! You see I do not fear dragons, I do not fear evil men, and I do not fear you.'
Takaru comes off the ropes, and he drives a knee into the body pad even as the trainer is knocked sprawling. He rolls to his feet, and his booted foot narrowly missed the man's head before he rolled back to his feet. Shimo rubbed at his mask, shrugging before he threw in a towel which drew an angry glare from Takaru. Wormwood frowned, and adjusted his glasses before he called up to him.
'Man, you have to calm down! We are just sparring in here, we are just training! You nearly took this guy's head off! Dial it down, dial it down! You need to save some of that for Goth, tell him Shimo!'
Shimo nodded in agreement, saying nothing as always. Takaru swept the towel from the ring with his feet, and dropped into a crouch as he motioned for the man to bring it on once more. Wormwood sighed, and threw up his hands as the whole process started again with the kicks flying even faster and harder this time. The trainer dropped back, and he waved his hands which made Takaru curse as he rolled away from him. This drew odd looks from his stable mates, and he adjusted his rumpled tie before he leaned on the ring.
'Goth, I am coming for you.'
