The scene opens up to an outdoor venue. There is a stage in the front with a podium and a microphone in the center. On the front of the stage are banners with the Wrestle:UK logos on it. There are hundreds of chairs sat up in front of the stage, allowing lots of people to attend in person. The chairs are filled with fans and reporters. There are tons of video cameras all over the place as well, allowing people all over the world to be able to watch. Off to the side sits a Wrestle:UK announcers table. Sitting there is Jeremy Tucker and Sir Arthur Torchwood. Katie Moss walks up the stairs of the stage and stands behind the podium. She waits for the buzzing crowd to settle down a little. Once they have, she begins speaking to the fans.
Katie Moss: “Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the man who will enter last in the Battle of Britain match. Please welcome “The High Roller” Wesley Crane!”
Torchwood: “Here comes the odds on favorite to win the Battle of Britain match.”
Tucker: “He may be coming out last but that doesn’t mean anything. He’s in there with some of the best wrestlers in the world.”
Torchwood: “He’s used to beating up some of the best wrestlers in the world.”
From the side, “The High Roller” Wesley Crane comes walking into view. He walks to the announcers table and reaches his hand out, shaking hands with Torchwood. He lowers his aviator sunglasses a little and gives a cocky grin to Tucker. Wesley is dressed to impress as always in his $10,000 Armani suit. He walks to the steps of the stage and climbs them. He walks up to Katie Moss and reaches his hand out to shake hers. As soon as her hand touches his, he pulls her hand up and gives it a little kiss. She tries not to grin, but can’t help it. He releases her hand and she walks off to the side. Wesley stands there in the center of the stage. He clears his throat, leans forward a little and speaks into the microphone.
Wesley Crane: “Thank you for coming to the first ever Wesley Crane State of the W:UK address—”
From the back, three fans begin yelling. They are all carrying signs that read “The Light Of W:UK Is Growing Dim. It’s Time To Increase The Wattage.” They’re all chanting “Kalmin Watts! Kalmin Watts! Kalmin Watts!” Wesley looks annoyed.
Wesley Crane: “Security, I demand you remove these people from the venue immediately. I want to press charges too.”
Tucker: “For what?”
Torchwood: “Disturbing the peace, duh!”
The security guards remove the fans, the entire time they continue chanting Kamin Watts’ name. Wesley clears his throat again.
Wesley Crane: “I want to thank you all for attending my first ever private State of the W:UK Address. Let’s begin… Last week I did what so many others didn’t believe I could do. I defeated three top tier wrestlers in this company to earn the honor of becoming the last man to enter the Battle of Britain match… and what happens after that? Those three idiots I beat are still entered into the match. What kind of ass backwards company is this? I make them look stupid inside this ring and they still get a chance to win my championship opportunity… But let me address a little elephant in the room. Kalmin Watts only survived the In The Face three times because two out of the three times i did not hit it correctly. Had he felt the full effect of the move on the first attempt, I can guarantee you he would have been down for the count immediately.”
Torchwood: “Watts really is a lucky man. The In The Face could kill a man.”
Tucker: “I can’t argue with that. It is a dominant finishing maneuver.”
Wesley Crane: “But let’s discuss the Battle of Britain. Let’s discuss the other nineteen participants in the match. Now, I will not address each one directly because let’s be honest, 99% of them are not worth my time. I will however remind everyone that over the weekend I showed up at Hardkore World’s PPV and helped my friend Marty Donovan win his World Championship Match against Syberus. Marty Donovan is in the BoB match and plans to help me win it. Make no mistake, Marty Donovan and Wesley Crane are on the same page and we will do whatever it takes for Wesley Crane to win this match.”
Torchwood: “His odds are even greater at winning this match.”
Wesley Crane: “And unlike that cheap bastard Kalmin Watts who turned his back on me in Boston, I know I can trust Marty.”
Tucker: “Didn’t Crane hit Watts first in that match?”
Torchwood: “Neither here nor there, Jeremy.”
Wesley Crane: “After I win this match, I will go on and face the W:UK World Champion. I don’t care if it’s Havok, I don’t care if it’s Billy Fowler. Hell, I don’t care if it’s fucking Elmo. Nothing and I mean nothing is going to stop Wesley Crane from achieving what he deserves. I’ve made it crystal clear that I am better than everyone else and I plan on proving that I am the only real champion of this shithole company and I will prove it by defeating 19 other wrestlers inside the ring at BoB. You can bet on it! Now, are there any questions?”
The reporters are going wild, trying to get in a question. Wesley just shakes his head.
Wesley Crane: “Ya know what, fuck this shit. Wesley Crane is too good for your questions. I’ve got things to see and people to do.(And I've Reached My RP Limit) I’ll see you at the Battle of Britain.”
With that said, Wesley Crane winks at Katie Moss and walks off the stage. He stops at the announcers table and shakes hands with Torchwood once again and then walks off, leaving the crowd wanting more and hating him for not giving it to them.
