The scene opens to a smaller venue in Upstate New York. The place is filled with wrestling fans from the North East in the United States of America. From the look of it, there appears to be maybe 1,000 people there. Not very many, but enough harcore fans can make any show feel like WrestleMania. The ring announcer is in the center of the ring.
Ring Announcer: “It’s time for the main event. Tonight, we have the IWX World Championship on the line. First, the challenger. He stands at 6 feet 1 inch and weighs 223lbs. He comes to us from Syracuse, NY… He is… The HIGH ROLLERRRRRR, Wesleyyyyy Craaaaaaannnnneeeee!”
The arena lights turn plum purple. They begin pulsing with the beat of Wesley’s theme music.
“Rubbing on that Italian leather
'Dem Konvict jeans on!
Ay yo Weezy! You Ready, yeah!
I get it in 'till sunrise
Doing ninety in a sixty five
Windows rolled down screaming ah!
Hey-ey-ey' I'm so paid
Number one hustla' gettin' money

The lights go back to normal and out steps “The High Roller” Wesley Crane to a mixed reaction from the fans. He stands on the stage and looks around at everyone. He lowers his aviator sunglasses and gives everyone a cocky grin. He slowly makes his way to the ring, the entire time looking around at the fans. Once ringside he climbs up the steps and holds onto the ring ropes. He wipes his feet off on the ring apron before entering the ring. Once inside he stands in the center of the ring and holds his arms wide open.
Ring Announcer: “And now, the champion. He comes to us from Pittsburg, PA. He weighs 257lbs and stands at 6 feet 3 inches. He is your IWX World Champion, he is THE DOMINATOR, Donnyyyyyyy Kilrooooyyyyyyyyy!”
From the back steps a much larger man. He has the IWX World Championship over his right shoulder. He makes his way to the ring and climbs the stairs. Once inside he kisses the championship and hands it to the referee. The referee rings the bell.
Matt James: “This is going to be a great match between two talented wrestlers.
Andrew O’Neal: “This is Wesley Crane’s night.”
Matt James: “Look at this, Donny Kilroy is extending his right hand and it looks like Wesley is going to accept it.”
Before that can happen, Wesley spits right directly in Donny’s eyes. Donny steps backwards a few and is met with a kick to the stomach. Wesley grabs Donny and hits a double arm DDT. Wesley jumps up and immediately begins stomping away at Donny’s head. Donny tries covering up, but Wesley is relentless. Wesley backs away and sizes up the champion. As Donny begins getting back up, Wesley runs full speed and hits a running European uppercut. The move causes the champion to fall back into the corner.
Matt James: “So far the challenger is looking dominant.”
Andrew O’Neal: “Was there ever a doubt? Tonight is Wesley Crane’s night!”
Wesley runs across the ring and hits another running European uppercut. Donny’s head snaps back. Wesley stays on Donny, hitting a couple other uppercuts.
Matt James: “Wesley is really attacking the head of Donny.”
Andrew O’Neal: “He’s smart.”
Wesley pulls Donny away from the corner. Donny swings at Wesley, but he ducks, grabs Donny by the waist and hits a beautiful German suplex. With his opponent down, Wesley climbs to the top of the ropes. He looks out at the crowd. They’re all booing him. He doesn’t care. He gives the gun signal to Donny and then jumps off, hitting a picture perfect elbow drop. Wesley jumps up and opens his arms out wide. The fans begin chanting “You Suck!” Wesley gives them all a cocky grin. He walks to the corner of the ring, climbs up a couple of ropes and points at a few fans. Behind Wesley, Donny has gotten to his feet. He rushes up behind Wesley, grabs him by the waist and throws him backwards, hitting a huge German suplex of his own. The impact causes Wesley’s head to bounce off the mat.
Matt James: “Finally some offense from our champion.”
Donny grabs Wesley by the hair and pulls him up to his feet. Quickly Donny hits a headbutt that rocks Wesley. Wesley drops back down to his knees. Donny pulls him back up. Donny kicks Wesley in the gut, grabs him by the waist, lifts him up and hits a huge powerbomb. Donny makes the cover.
Referee: One… Two…Kick out.
Matt James: “Wesley kicks out at two.”
Donny lifts Wesley back up to his feet. Wesley points to the side of the ring. The referee turns his head. As soon as he does, Wesley pokes Donny in the eyes. Donny covers his eyes in pain. Out of nowhere, Wesley hits a Super Kick. Donny stumbles backwards a few feet. Wesley runs, dives and hits a huge spear. Donny grabs his ribs. Wesley steps back and waits for Donny to move. As soon as Donny gets to his knees, Wesley runs and hits a huge In The Face (V-Trigger)... Donny drops like a ton of bricks. Wesley makes the cover.
Referee: “One… Two… Three!”
Matt James: “Damnit!”
Andrew O’Neal: “I told you it was Wesley’s night.”
Matt James: “How many times did he cheat?”
The referee hands the IWX Championship to Wesley Crane. He rips the title away from the referee and holds it high in the air.
Ring Announcer: “Your winner of the match, and NEW IWX WORLD CHAMPION, The High Roller, Wesleyyyyy Craneeeeee!”
Wesley motions that he wants the microphone. He takes it from the ring announcer and returns to the center of the ring.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “What you saw here tonight is just a small example of what’s going to happen at the Battle of Britain. Donny Kilroy, you may have been the champion of this podunk company, but you are no competition to someone as good as Wesley Crane. The same can be said for the 19 other wrestlers in the Battle of Britain match. I have defeated some of you already. The others may think they’re big fish in their proverbial ponds, but I am a mother fucking shark wherever I go and I smell blood in the water. At the Battle of Britain, I take the next step in taking over Wrestle:UK. At the Battle of Britain, I become the new number one contender for the W:UK World Championship. You can bet on it!”
Wesley tosses the microphone to the ring announcer. He stands there with his arms wide open.
Suddenly, the alarm on Wesley’s phone begins ringing. He opens his eyes and grabs his phone. He turns the alarm off and takes a deep breath.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Whoa, what a dream.”
Scene Ends.
