Firelight gleams off a slender leather clad leg as it swing back and forth, and then the camera draws back to reveal the reclining form of the Baroness. Sinclair Godfrey's legs dangle across the arms of the wingback chair, and she stares into the flames before she flicks her hair back before she turns slowly to glare at the camera. A faint smile tugs at her lips, and then she leans forward as her hands settle to her knees.
'Mister Blood, thinks he is clever. The Usurper whispers in his ears, and Blood thinks he can get to Donzig by what? Putting me in at Number One at the Battle of Britain? Is that it? That is the very best idea that Blood and our old friends the Von Krauss Family Circus can come up with? I don't think they understand who or what we are, who I am!'
Sinclair leaned back in the chair, her legs crossing again as a hand lifted to rest against her chin.
'I am a daughter of noble blood, and for centuries! Centuries! My ancestors, my blood have walked with kings and queens! We staked our claim to what was ours by right of conquest, by blood and steel! By cunning and guile! And I am a child of that line! So with all due respect to Blood, or the nineteen other people in this match? I am not going to let any of you get in my way! You see I am the apprentice of the Scourge, I am the Baroness of Donzig-gun! I have stood in every war, every battle, every fight at the side of a man who only loves these things! And I never backed down, I never turned my back on what was at hand! So forgive me, forgive me, if I am not going to just lay down in that ring and cry because Wesley Crane and Marty Donovan stole a belt off of Syberus! I am not going to let the Sheik walk into W:UK and take what is rightfully mine!'
She sneered, leaning slightly forward as her hands fell to the arms of her chair.
'And that goes double for everyone from the so called God of Extreme, to the Lord of Darkness and his car, to the Ork! Or even to you, Kalmin Watts! Go ask your precious mentor what he won't answer, ask him what happens what you get between Donzig-gun and what is theirs! Because you will not like his answers if he gives them to you! Because I understand that some of you don't consider me as much of a threat as say Mormo, or Moloch, or Gavin Drake. But let me assure all of you, all ninteen of you that I am the Scourge's most dangerous acolyte! I am the Pride of Donzig-gun, and I will walk into the Battle of Britain carrying the black banner of Oblivion itself! And I will destroy anyone who gets in my way!'
Sinclair slid to her feet, shrugging as she started to pace back and forth. Her eyes narrowed before she walked over to stand before the fireplace, her eyes stared into the flames as her hand lifted absently to curl into a fist.
'You see the rest of you? You think you are mighty, that you are so fierce, the deadliest creatures in the XHF, but I have stood in the shadow of Death in High Places itself! As he has faced down legends, and gods, and monsters! As he walked through your little kingdoms from JROK to REIGN, from Fireside to GUNS, I have walked beside the Conqueror himself! I have stood at the side of the Scourge himself, unafraid and unbroken! I have fought the Revenants, I have defeated Fox and his husband, I have battled the Bastards time and time again! Me! I did what even Great Donzig himself could not do and defeated the Usurper! TWICE! Sinclair Godfrey, and I am not going to let someone like Blood beat me! I am not going to let him take what should be mine!'
Sinclair spun on her heel, stalking back across the room. And she shook her head before a hand lifted to rake fingers through her hair, and she scowled.
'And that brings me to a certain little subsection of peasants, because I don't want them to forget what I am about to tell them.'
Sinclair slid back into her chair, and her legs crossed once more as she stared at the flames before she took a deep breath.
'Miranda Esmay. Julianna DiMaria. Olympia. I need the three of you to remember exactly who the Queen of W:UK is, you see despite what you three trollops may think? It is not any of you, anymore then it is Commandrix! Because the one and only Queen of this company sits before you! All of you from DiMaria to Zolothatch? Need to bend the knee to the rightful first lady of the W:UK! You need to bow down before the Goddess of the XHF! And if you do not? If you dare to defy me? Then I will show you what the Usurper already knows! No one, NO ONE, gets up from the Witch's Hammer!'
A faint smirk, and Sinclair leaned back with a vague wave of her hand.
'I especially can't wait to see you, Olympia. It has been so long, so very long since I had the pleasure of your company! I am going to make it my personal mission to remind you of your place, I remember how very--' Sinclair frowned, a finger tapping against the arm of the chair. '--bold you can get.'
A pause.
'Now some of you may think these are just words. But remember at the beginning, I said you were all not like us. We are Donzig-gun, the Inevitable, the Children of the Fall. We maybe defeated, but we are never broken. We always rise. Stronger. Because the future? Ours.'
