Tag Team Wars

(The Dark Stars are in a research facility searching for something as they stalk through the corridor finding a door at the end. They nod and The Dark Stars use a device that opens the door without a code and they enter the room and see their target. Niko pulls out a device and deactivates any security cameras and other alarm systems that could alert security to their presence.)

Niko:  "Let's go."

Kono:  "Too bad we can't get into a good fight with the security people."

Niko:  "Save it for the ring since we are in a gauntlet tag team match."

Kono:  "Fine.  Let's get back to the complex."

(They leave as two security guards walk down the corridor and sees them and pulls his gun out and begins shooting.)

Niko:  "Pathetic attempt to stop us."

Kono:  "Let's show him real firepower."

(The Dark Stars activate their force fields and begin returning fire before activating some commands and disappear and reappear in their complex headquarters.)

Niko:  "We have returned Commandrix."

Kono:  "Too bad we could not get into a real physical battle with the security guards."

Commandrix:  "That would not be wise so close to Battle of Britain's gauntlet tag team match.  You are to be a hundred percent especially with the lineup of tag teams and you do not know which number you will enter the match."

Niko:  "She has a point Kono."

Kono:  "We do know the Oblivion Death Squad. That was a true bloodbath in that old western town and Moloch and Mormo earned our respect and that's a rarity for us."

Commandrix:  "Sinclair earned my respect as well.  Donzig gun is a tag team threat and yes you defeated Bear-o-dactyl for the NPW Imperial Tag Team Championships.  Still you will make that run and receive that championship shot against the winners of The Bastards vs. Glucks."

Niko:  "Then there's the former SWAT Tag Team Champions Team Fairtex, who are wrestling legends."

(Kono gets a look of disgust.)

Niko:  "Why do yo look so disgusted."

Kono:  "They let their egos get to their head and don't think we are a threat to them or anyone else."

Niko:  "Do not let them get to you Kono.  We will show them what we are made of and that is pure warriors and gladiatorial combatants."

Commandrix:  "Niko is right.  Remain disciplined and focused on the match."

Kono:  "Yes Commandrix."

Commandrix:  "Doing does have a point when it comes to The Purge since they named themselves after a movie.  These tag teams have strange names but we plan on making sure they never survive this match."

Niko:  "I can't understand why there is a tag team called Neon Bushido.  Takara Matsui and Shimo should have thought of another name for their tag team."

Kono:  "Why would they have someone who looks like he had a bad day at the office and looks like a Demaran troll as a manager."

Commandrix:  "Still do not underestimate them or any of the other tag teams in this match."

Niko:  "Not even Drake and Gavin who are unknown to us but then again we were unknown too before coming to the NPW."

Kono:  "Nobody should be taken lightly in this match as Commandrix always tells us."

Commandrix:  "Agreed.  You must be at your best and you shall be at your best come Battle of Britain."

Niko:  "The questions are how many of these so called tag teams will remain loyal to Wrestle:  UK and how many will decide to leave like cowards and then complain about being deprived of victories they did not deserve."

Kono:  "At least we show our loyalty and remained in Wrestle:  UK to continue our tag team wars with anyone who challenges us or provides a challenge to us."

Commandrix:  "Just remember entry number counts and we must see the odds of us entering."

(Commandrix punches in a series of commands and the computer make a series of sounds and figures begin to appear before the sounds fade.)

Commandrix:  "The odds state that you will enter first are as this planet says are a longshot at best and also longshot odds are you go last."

Niko:  "No matter.  When we go into this tag team war The Dark Stars are going to survive and we shall be the top contenders once again."

Kono:  "We have always beaten the odds and we shall do it again."

Commandrix:  "Do not forget we are not in the future but the present and odds mean nothing if you can not equal them or defeat them on an even level.  Also remember you are not going to be locked in gladiatorial combat."

Niko:  "We are gladiators but we know this is not our average gladiatorial wars but tag team wars and we shall fight as if we are in a tag team war."

Kono:  "We shall fight until our last breathe."

(Commandrix changes the subject.)

Commandrix:  "Did you retrieve the object that was taken from our time."

Niko:  "We have and we are ready to transport the object back to our time."

Kono:  "How did it get here in the first place."

Commandrix:  "That is an interesting question and we shall find out why and how it got here.  However, right now you have to prepare for Battle of Britain and not stop training until you are one hundred percent perfect."

Niko:  "We shall be prepared and we shall do this for the glory of Shaakar."

Kono:  "We shall make him proud and we shall get that title shot and one day win the Wrestle:  UK Commonwealth Tag team Championships for the glory of Shaakar."

(The Dark Stars salute Commandrix who salutes back and they leave as Commandrix sees a communique appear as the scene slowly fades to black.)
