The scene opens to an old theater auditorium. On the stage is a crystal podium set up. On the front of the podium is a carved photo of “The High Roller” Wesley Crane. The auditorium holds 1,000 people and it’s at full capacity today. The front three rows are saved for the press. Many interviewers/reporters have come to try and get their questions answered by “The High Roller.” In the front row sits Katie Moss, looking less than impressed about being there. After last night's altercation with Wesley, she’s not really wanting to deal with him but knows she needs to try and get some questions answered. “I’m So Paid” by Akon plays over the speakers. From the side entrance, in walks “The High Roller” Wesley Crane with the blonde and brunette from last night. He’s dressed in his $10,000 Gucci suit. His suit is plum purple like usual and he has his black buttoned down shirt under his jacket, with the top couple of buttons unbuttoned to show off his muscular chest. On his face sits his designer aviators. The ladies are dressed in expensive black dresses and are wearing gorgeous diamond necklaces. Wesley walks up to the microphone attached to the podium. He waits for the buzz in the room to die down. Once it does, he speaks.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I’d like to start off by making a statement. It’s a simple statement: ``You're Welcome!”
The crowd gives off a mixed reaction to the statement. The fact is, Wesley Crane is hated by most, but he does have a small cult following of fans who eat up every word he says.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I’m going to start off by giving Wrestle:UK the first question. Miss Moss, go ahead.”
Katie looks taken back by his “kind” gesture. However, Katie is still pissed about the way things have been with Wesley. Still, this is her job and she needs to do whatever it takes.
Katie Moss: “Last night you won an extremely hard, brutal match against 19 other wrestlers. How are you feeling today?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Look babe, Wesley Crane feels great.”
Katie Moss: “Great? Are you sure? There was a lot of bloodshed in that match. It’s being looked at as one of the toughest matches in Wrestle:UK’s history.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Was there bloodshed? Yes. But was MY bloodshed? No. I did not lose one drop of blood in that match. That’s what happens when you’re as good as I am. You go in, you get the job done and you leave. I did exactly that.”
Katie Moss: “Do you have any words for the other 19 wrestlers who were in the match?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Sucks to suck. Better luck next time.”
Katie Moss: “Do you have anything to say to your friend Marty Donovan?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Look, what happened, happened. It was an accident. I’d never purposely hit him with an In The Face. What kind of friend would I be if I did that?”
Katie Moss: “But if you hadn’t hit him with that move, he may have pinned Spike and it might have been you vs. Marty to determine the winner. How do you think that would have turned ou-”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Next question.”
Katie Moss: “Mr. Crane, please answer the rest of my questio-”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You, in the gaudy gray suit. You’re up.”
Gray Suit Reporter: “Have you been fined by Wrestle:UK for your attack on Warren W. Webber III?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “My assistant has taken care of things with Wrestle:UK management.”
Gray Suit Reporter: “You pinned three very tough wrestlers, how does that make you feel?”
Wesley rolls his eyes.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Are you fucking kidding me? Next question please.”
Katie raises her hand.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Look babe, Big Brain Wesley Crane will give you one more chance to ask a good question. You fuck this one up and you’ve lost all privilages of asking me anything for the rest of the day.”
Katie has had enough. She stands up, huffs and asks a very unprofessional question. Something that is totally not like Katie to do.
Katie Moss: “What happened to your redhead?”
Wesley cracks a cocky grin.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “That chick was crazy. When you’re too crazy for Wesley Crane, you know something’s wrong. Bitch was batshit crazy.”
Katie Moss: “That’s no way to speak about ladies.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Oh trust me, that woman was no lady.”
Katie gets even more personal.
Katie Moss: “You said I was special!”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “You are.”
Katie Moss: “Yeah, and three other women.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Look babe, Wesley Crane said you were special, he never said you were unique.”
This gets a loud “Ohhhh!” from the crowd. Katie looks livid. She storms out of the room.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Next question. You with the green top on.”
Green Top Reporter: “In your next match you’re teaming up with Marty Donovan to face The Glucks. Any word on this match?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “There’s not much to say. They’re inbred hicks from down south. They can’t compete with greatness, and Marty and I are exactly that, we’re greatness. I’m coming off one of the biggest wins in Wrestle:UK history and Marty is the greatest champion in Hardkore World history. The fact is, individually we’re unstoppable. Together, forget about it, nobody stands a chance.”
Green Top Reporter: “Any words about the next show's main event championship match?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “It’s simple. I’ll be there with commentary calling the match. I’ll be paying close attention to what takes place. Whoever wins has a target on their face and we all know that’s the perfect place for Wesley Crane to strike. Thank you all for coming.”
Wesley steps away from the podium. He has a brunette on each arm as he walks away.
