Wesley Crane’s private jet lands at the Syracuse Hancock International Airport. It's been 30hrs since Legacy #9.The door of the jet opens and out steps Katie Moss, wearing a warm winter jacket. The cold winter air hits her in the face. It’s been a lot colder than usual in Upstate NY which has made a lot of the locals miserable. Winters last 5+ months in Upstate NY. Meeting her at the bottom of the stairs is Wesley’s personal assistant, Henderson. Henderson is holding a bouquet of roses and baby's breath. Katie can’t help but smile when she sees the flowers.
Henderson: “Ma’am. There are from Mr. Crane.”
Katie Moss: “Henderson, you don’t need to call me “Ma’am” you can call me Katie.”
Henderson: “We can compromise. Miss Moss will do.”
Katie Moss: (chuckling a little) “Okay, Henderson, Miss Moss will do just fine.”
She takes a moment to smell the flowers. She gets a big smile on her face as she takes a deep breath in.
Katie Moss: “These flowers are gorgeous.”
Henderson: “They’re from Mr. Crane’s flower shop.”
Katie looks shocked.
Katie Moss: “Wesley owns a flower shop?”
Henderson: “Yes, Ma’am- Er, Miss Moss. He owns many businesses. He’s a firm believer in keeping fresh flowers on hand at all times.”
Katie Moss: “Smart move on his part. Especially with all the women he sees on a regular basis.”
Henderson: “Touché, he has been known to share the company of many women.”
Katie Moss: “Why do you think that is?”
Henderson: “It’s simple, he loves women.”
Katie Moss: “But there has got to be a reason WHY he surrounds himself with so many women. There has to be a deeper meaning.”
Henderson: “We’ll never know.”
Katie Moss: “So where is he?”
Henderson: “He’s home in his suite.”
Katie Moss: “He isn’t making me go out to dinner with him before I give him an interview?”
Henderson: “I guess not. All he said was to pick you up from the airport and bring you to his suite.”
Katie Moss: “Well okay, then. This should be interesting.”

Wesley is inside his suite, dressed to impress with his Armani plum colored suit with his designer black buttoned down shirt underneath the suit jacket, with the top couple of buttons unbuttoned. To say the least, Wesley looks the part of someone expecting a big night. There is a knock on the door. Wesley rushes over and opens the door. There stands Katie and Henderson. Katie has a smile on her face. Wesley reaches out and grabs her right hand. He pulls her hand up to his mouth and gives the back of her hand a gentle kiss.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Katie.”
Katie can’t help but smile. She’s seeing a much different side of Wesley. It’s something deep down she’s been hoping for.
Katie Moss: “Wesley.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Please, come in.”
Katie and Henderson begin to walk in. Wesley lets Katie enter but as soon as Henderson gets close, Wesley throws up his left hand, making a “stop” hand gesture. Henderson stops in his tracks.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “That’ll be all, Henderson. You have the rest of the night off.”
Henderson: “Yes sir. Enjoy your night… and remember, stay humble.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Goodnight, Henderson.”
Wesley hates to admit it, but his personal assistant is correct. If he wants to make a lasting impression on Katie, he needs to stay humble. With that said, he is Wesley Crane and staying humble is much easier said than done. Wesley shuts the door and turns to see Katie smelling her flowers again.
Katie Moss: “Thank you for the flowers, they’re beautiful. I never knew you owned a flower shop.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Well, I own quite a few small mom and pop shops. I believe it’s important to keep small businesses open.”
Katie Moss: “Well, I can agree with you on that one… but why a flower shop?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Why not? Flowers are beautiful. They bring smiles to faces. They show you care.”
Katie Moss: “So how many others get flowers from “The High Roller”?”
Wesley doesn’t appreciate the shot… but he’ll take it on the chin and carry on.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “So I’m sure you have a few questions for me. Would you like to get into them?”
Katie looks shocked that Wesley is so easily giving into her questions. Normally he wants something from her before he’s willing to give her what she wants.
Katie Moss: “Uh, sure. We can do the interview now.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Okay, I’m an open book, go!”
Katie Moss: “Okay, so first. Your team took a loss at Legacy #9. It’s the first time you’ve faced defeat in W:UK. How are you feeling about that?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “With all due respect to my best friend, Marty Donovan, Big Brain Wesley Crane did not lose. Marty Donovan lost. He had his shoulders pinned to the mat for the three count. I was on the outside of the ring gathering my bearings when it took place. I’m still undefeated in singles matches and that’s what matters.”
Katie Moss: “Speaking of your best friend, are you two okay?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “I’ll explain it to you like I explained it to Henderson. There are no issues between Wesley Crane and Marty Donovan. We are professionals and we understand that sometimes things happen in wrestling matches. So Marty wasn’t on his game and he accidentally hit me in the face with the “Dis-Knee”... look at me, am I fine? Yes. Do I look concussed? No, not at all. The fact is, Wesley Crane is always on his A-game and Wesley Crane is always okay.”
Katie Moss: “What about your tag team match coming up at Legacy #10. Some would argue that this is the biggest match you’ve had in W:UK. Do you believe that to be true?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “No, I do not. I was in the Battle of freaking Britain match, Katie. I outlasted nineteen other wrestlers and won the entire thing. That was the biggest match of my career and will continue to be that way until I get my one on one match against Billy Fowler for the Wrestle:UK World Championship.”
Katie Moss: “But this match you have is against Fowler and his fellow Bastard, Frank Windsor. They have way more experience than you and Marty. Aren’t you worried you may lose again?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Am I worried? Do I look worried? Does Wesley Crane ever look worried?”
Katie Moss: “Well, no, not as long as I’ve known you.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Big Brain Wesley Crane is ready… Marty Donovan assures me he will be ready… Fowler and Windsor don’t stand a chance against us.”
Katie Moss: “At the end of Legacy #9 you hit Fowler with an “In The Face” V-Trigger… He’s not going to take that kindly. He’s going to be looking for revenge on you for that shot. How are you going to stay safe?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Safe? Babe, Wesley Crane always stays safe. I don’t need to avoid Billy Fowler. Billy Fowler needs to avoid Wesley Crane. The fact is, I’m better than Billy Fowler. Always have been. I’m in the prime of my career. 28yrs old and taking over the world. Billy Fowler has the size advantage, but that’s it. When it comes to talent inside the ring, I will run circles around that big doofy bastard.”
Katie Moss: “And what about Frank Windsor?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “As I told Henderson, I’m not worried about Frank Windsor. Marty will worry about him...but let’s just pretend that I have to deal with Windsor. What’s there to worry about? He’s a hot head. He’s too emotional for this industry. Everyone knows he’s the weak link of the Bastard chain… and a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. So sorry to be the one to tell ya, but Frank Windsor is never going to be as good as Billy Fowler or Rob Riot. If the Bastards were smart they’d drop Frank Windsor. Hell, I’m a fair guy. After I beat Fowler and take the World Championship I’d be willing to hire Fowler and Rob Riot to be my hired goons. Think about it, guys… it might be the best way to elevate your status from really good to excellent.”
Katie Moss: “Well I think that’s all I have for you. So when’s dinner?”
Wesley looks at his Rolex wrist watch.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Anytime now.”
Suddenly there is a knock at the door. Wesley walks over and opens it. There stands a smoking hot brunette named Stacy.
Stacy: “Are you ready?”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Hang on just a second.”
Wesley turns and looks back at Katie.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “We all done here?”
Katie looks crushed, but she won’t let Wesley know just how crushed she is.
Katie Moss: “Yeah, we’re done.”
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “Okay, feel free to let yourself out whenever you want. You’re more than welcome to stay and wait for me. I should only be gone for a couple of hours.”
Katie Moss: “No thanks, I’ll let myself out now.”
Katie stands up, grabs her roses and pushes them into the arms of Stacy.
Katie Moss: “Here, these are for you.”
Katie storms out of the suite. Wesley’s cocky grin turns into a look of sadness… but only for a split second. He gets his cocky grin back on his face and looks at Stacy.
“The High Roller” Wesley Crane: “It looks like it’s a dinner just for two.”
