New Years Hangover

(Team Fairtex are in their apartment with bags of ice on their heads after celebrating New Years Eve the apartment looking like a slight mess. They try to get up but have to sit back down due to their hangover.)

Tong Fairtex:  "Damned that was some party Phantam."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Yeah it was, wasn't it Tong."

Tong Fairtex:  "Yeah and after our wives got everyone to leave when Big Ben tolled midnight."

Phantam Fairtex:  "After they drew their Glocks and threatened to shoot anyone who refused to leave."

Tong Fairtex:  "Yeah that motivated our guests.  However, now that our celebrations are over and the new year has begun.  Team Fairtex is being called on once again to grace the squared circle to assist in advancing another aspiring tag team."

Phantam Fairtex:  "So who is it that we have to help advance the careers of."

Tong Fairtex:  "Let's see brother Phantam."

Phantam Fairtex:  "I can't wait brother Tong."

(Tong reaches for an envelope and takes out a contract.)

Tong Fairtex:  "Let's see you are obligated to face the Von Krauss Dynasty team of Jakie Wentzel and Adrienne Blaque on Legacy #11."

(Phantam groans and places the icepack over his head.)

Phantam Fairtex:  "Did you just say Von Krauss Dynasty."

Tong Fairtex:  "Yeah Von Krauss Dynasty."

Phantam Fairtex:  "What did we deserve to suffer this punishment."

Tong Fairtex:  "Well we did say we'd take anyone on and Jakie Wentzel and Adrienne Blaque are our required opponents.  So at Aberdeen, Scotland we'll be stepping into the ring with these two."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Yeah and we'll be facing a maniac who lost his eye with Donzig-gun and rookie newcomer Adrienne Blaque who seems quite talented."

Tong Fairtex:  "After her debut I have to agree with you on her performance."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Imagine Jakie Wentzel fell for Armand von Krauss and his siren offer to join VKD just to get revenge on Donzig for taking his eye out."

Tong Fairtex:  "What was he thinking."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Epiphanes."

Tong Fairtex:  "Might as well try to get up again."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Yeah might as well."

(They count to three and get up a bit wobbly but still remain on their feet.)

Tong Fairtex:  "I have to admit that champagne had a kick."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Yeah and I remember drinking some fine champagne."

Tong Fairtex:  "Well time to sober up and concentrate on our match."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Hopefully minus their circus clown friends."

Tong Fairtex:  "Please don't even mention them."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Too late."

Tong Fairtex:  "Must have been that champagne and the party food."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Definitely."

Tong Fairtex:  "Now getting back to our match Jakie.  You are quite tough as a competitor and obviously Donzig must have brought out the monster in you and von Krauss obviously magnified your aggressive tendencies.  Okay we can understand you felt you were subjected to an injustice and you need to unleash it."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Yet Team Fairtex isn't that team you shall attempt to let all your aggression out on.  You see we thrive on aggression and we thrive on fighting and we've been through a whole lot of wars together."

Tong Fairtex:  "Now Adrienne we aren't going to underestimate you since you are quite talented and you showed some amazing moves in your debut.  However, we never underestimate anyone and that includes you too.  We aren't that kind of team and come match time we won't be like our current state of hangover.  We will be a hundred percent for this match."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Quite a hundred percent to face you both at Legacy #11 in Aberdeen, Scotland and we are going to be more than ready.  That isn't just talk from us it's going to be fact and we deal with fact and we deal with reality."

Tong Fairtex:  "So we'll be seeing what you two got when we meet in the ring and yes it won't be pretty and it won't be totally technical but that's something we thrive on as we said earlier."

Phantam Fairtex:  "We're cool under fire as we always say."

Tong Fairtex:  "You see 'The Bangkok Hitman'...."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Not to mention 'The Handsomest Face in Wrestle:  UK.'"

Tong Fairtex:  "Shall always keep our cool and we shall always be a well tuned wrestling machine."

Phantam Fairtex:  "One team working as one."

Tong Fairtex:  "So Happy New Year Jakie Wentzel and Adrienne Blaque and see you at Legacy #11 in Aberdeen, Scotland."

Phantam Fairtex:  "See you in the ring."

Tong Fairtex:  "Yeah and time to clean this mess up."

Phantam Fairtex:  "Let's do it."

(They begin cleaning up as the scene slowly fades to black.)
